1 For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments, set to the Sheminith. A Psalm of David. O Yahweh, don't rebuke me in your anger, Neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.
1 Ó S enhor , não me repreendas em tua ira, nem me disciplines em tua fúria.
2 Have mercy on me, O Yahweh; for I am withered away: Heal me, O Yahweh; for my bones are troubled.
2 Tem compaixão de mim, S enhor , pois estou fraco; cura-me, S
3 My soul also is intensely troubled: And you, O Yahweh, how long?
3 Meu coração está muito angustiado; S
4 Return, O Yahweh, deliver my soul: Save me for your loving-kindness' sake.
4 Volta-te, S enhor , e livra-me! Salva-me por causa do teu amor.
5 For in death there is no remembrance of you: In Sheol who will give you thanks?
5 Pois os mortos não se lembram de ti; quem te louvará da sepultura?
6 I am weary with my groaning; Every night I make my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
6 Estou exausto de tanto gemer; à noite inundo a cama de tanto chorar, e de lágrimas a encharco.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief; It waxes old because of all my adversaries.
7 A tristeza me embaça a vista; meus olhos estão cansados por causa de todos os meus inimigos.
8 Depart from me, all you{+} workers of iniquity; For Yahweh has heard the voice of my weeping.
8 Afastem-se de mim, todos vocês que praticam o mal, pois o S
9 Yahweh has heard my supplication; Yahweh will receive my prayer.
9 O S enhor ouviu minha súplica; o S
10 All my enemies will be put to shame and intensely troubled: They will turn back, they will be put to shame suddenly.
10 Sejam humilhados e aterrorizados todos os meus inimigos; recuem de repente, envergonhados.
