Salmos 61

1 For the Chief Musician; on a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer.
1 Ó Deus, ouve meu clamor! Escuta minha oração!
2 From the end of the earth I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed: You will lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
2 Dos confins da terra clamo a ti, com meu coração sobrecarregado. Leva-me à rocha alta e segura,
3 For you have been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy.
3 pois és meu refúgio e minha fortaleza, onde meus inimigos não me alcançarão.
4 I will dwell in your tabernacle forever: I will take refuge in the covert of your wings. Selah.
4 Permite-me viver para sempre em teu santuário, seguro sob o abrigo de tuas asas! Interlúdio
5 For you, O God, have heard my vows: You have given [me] the heritage of those who fear your name.
5 Pois ouviste meus votos, ó Deus, e me deste a bênção reservada para os que temem teu nome.
6 You will prolong the king's life; His years will be as many generations.
6 Acrescenta muitos anos à vida do rei! Que ele viva por muitas gerações!
7 He will remain before God forever: Oh prepare loving-kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
7 Que ele reine na presença de Deus para sempre, e que o teu amor e a tua fidelidade o guardem.
8 So I will sing praise to your name forever, That I may daily perform my vows.
8 Então cantarei para sempre louvores ao teu nome, enquanto cumpro meus votos a cada dia.
