¹ For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the sons of Korah; set to Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

¹ Deus é o nosso refúgio e fortaleza, socorro bem presente na angústia.

² Therefore we will not fear, though the earth changes, And though the mountains shake into the heart of the seas;

² Pelo que não temeremos, ainda que a terra se mude, e ainda que os montes se projetem para o meio dos mares;

³ Though its waters roar and are troubled, Though the mountains tremble with its swelling. Selah.

³ ainda que as águas rujam e espumem, ainda que os montes se abalem pela sua braveza.

⁴ There is a river, the streams of which make glad the city of God, The holy of the tabernacles of the Most High.

⁵ God is in the midst of her; she will not be moved: God will help her, and that right early.

⁶ The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered his voice, the earth melted.

⁷ Yahweh of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

⁷ O Senhor dos exércitos está conosco; o Deus de Jacó é o nosso refúgio.

⁸ Come, look at the works of Yahweh, What desolations he has made in the earth.

⁸ Vinde contemplai as obras do Senhor, as desolações que tem feito na terra.

⁹ He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in sunder; He burns the shields in the fire.

⁹ Ele faz cessar as guerras até os confins da terra; quebra o arco e corta a lança; queima os carros no fogo.

¹⁰ Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

¹⁰ Aquietai-vos, e sabei que eu sou Deus; sou exaltado entre as nações, sou exaltado na terra.

¹¹ Yahweh of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
