¹ Aleluia. Nos céus, louvai o Senhor, louvai-o nas alturas do firmamento.

² Praise{+} him, all his angels: Praise{+} him, all his host.

² Louvai-o, todos os seus anjos. Louvai-o, todos os seus exércitos.

³ Praise{+} him, sun and moon: Praise him, all you{+} stars of light.

³ Louvai-o, sol e lua; louvai-o, astros brilhantes.

⁴ Praise him, you{+} heavens of heavens, And you{+} waters that are above the heavens.

⁴ Louvai-o, céus dos céus, e vós, ó oceanos dos espaços celestes.

⁵ Let them praise the name of Yahweh; For he commanded, and they were created.

⁸ Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

⁸ fogo e granizo, neve e neblina; vendaval proceloso dócil às suas ordens;

⁹ Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;

⁹ montanhas e colinas, árvores frutíferas, árvores silvestres;

¹⁰ Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying birds;

¹⁰ feras e rebanhos, répteis e aves;

¹¹ Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth;

¹¹ reis da terra e todos os seus povos; príncipes e juízes do mundo;

¹² Both young men and virgins; Old men and children:

¹² jovens e donzelas; velhos e crianças!

¹³ Let them praise the name of Yahweh; For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

¹³ Louvem todos o nome do Senhor, porque só o seu nome é excelso. Sua majestade transcende a terra e o céu,

¹⁴ And he has lifted up the horn of his people, The praise of all his saints; Even of the sons of Israel, a people near to him. Hallelujah.

¹⁴ e conferiu a seu povo um grande poder. Louvem-no todos os seus fiéis, filhos de Israel, povo a ele mais chegado.
