1 A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, That walks in his ways.
1 Cântico das peregrinações. Felizes os que temem o Senhor, os que andam em seus caminhos.
2 For you will eat the labor of your hands: Happy you will be, and it will be well with you.
2 Poderás viver, então, do trabalho de tuas mãos, serás feliz e terás bem-estar.
3 Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, In the innermost parts of your house; Your sons like olive plants, Around your table.
3 Tua mulher será em teu lar como uma vinha fecunda. Teus filhos em torno à tua mesa serão como brotos de oliveira.
4 Look, thus will the [able-bodied] man be blessed That fears Yahweh.
4 Assim será abençoado aquele que teme o Senhor.
5 Yahweh will bless you out of Zion: And you will see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
5 De Sião te abençoe o Senhor para que em todos os dias de tua vida gozes da prosperidade de Jerusalém,
6 Yes, you will see the sons of your sons. Peace be on Israel.
6 e para que possas ver os filhos dos teus filhos. Reine a paz em Israel!
