Isaías 58
Updated Bible Version (UPDV) vs NVI
1 Cry aloud, do not spare, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and declare to my people their transgression, and to the house of Jacob their sins.
1 "Grite alto, não se contenha! Levante a voz como trombeta. Anuncie ao meu povo a rebelião dele, e à comunidade de Jacó, os seus pecados.
2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways: as a nation that did righteousness, and did not forsake the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.
2 Pois dia a dia me procuram; parecem desejosos de conhecer os meus caminhos, como se fossem uma nação que faz o que é direito e que não abandonou os mandamentos do seu Deus. Pedem-me decisões justas e parecem desejosos de que Deus se aproxime deles.
3 Why have we fasted, [they say], and you don't see? [Why] have we afflicted our soul, and you take no knowledge? Look, in the day of your{+} fast you{+} find [your{+} own] pleasure, and exact all your{+} labors.
3 ‘Por que jejuamos’, dizem, ‘e não o viste? Por que nos humilhamos, e não reparaste? ’ Contudo, no dia do seu jejum vocês fazem o que é do agrado de vocês, e exploram os seus empregados.
4 Look, you{+} fast for strife and contention, and to strike with the fist of wickedness: you{+} do not fast this day so as to make your{+} voice to be heard on high.
4 Seu jejum termina em discussão e rixa, e em brigas de socos brutais. Vocês não podem jejuar como fazem hoje e esperar que a sua voz seja ouvida no alto.
5 Is such the fast that I have chosen? The day for man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a rush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Yahweh?
5 Será esse o jejum que escolhi, que apenas um dia o homem se humilhe, incline a cabeça como o junco e se deite sobre pano de saco e cinzas? É isso que vocês chamam jejum, um dia aceitável ao Senhor?
6 Isn't this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you{+} break every yoke?
6 "O jejum que desejo não é este: soltar as correntes da injustiça, desatar as cordas do jugo, pôr em liberdade os oprimidos e romper todo jugo?
7 Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you don't hide yourself from your own flesh?
7 Não é partilhar sua comida com o faminto, abrigar o pobre desamparado, vestir o nu que você encontrou, e não recusar ajuda ao próximo?
8 Then will your light break forth as the morning, and your healing will spring forth speedily; and your righteousness will go before you; the glory of Yahweh will be your rearward.
8 Aí sim, a sua luz irromperá como a alvorada, e prontamente surgirá a sua cura; a sua retidão irá adiante de você, e a glória do Senhor estará na sua retaguarda.
9 Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer; you will cry, and he will say, Here I am. If you take away from the midst of you the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;
9 Aí sim, você clamará ao Senhor, e ele responderá; você gritará por socorro, e ele dirá: Aqui estou. "Se você eliminar do seu meio o jugo opressor, o dedo acusador e a falsidade do falar;
10 and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity be as the noonday;
10 se com renúncia própria você beneficiar os famintos e satisfizer o anseio dos aflitos, então a sua luz despontará nas trevas, e a sua noite será como o meio-dia.
11 and Yahweh will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
11 O Senhor o guiará constantemente; satisfará os seus desejos numa terra ressequida pelo sol e fortalecerá os seus ossos. Você será como um jardim bem regado, como uma fonte cujas águas nunca faltam.
12 And those who will be of you will build the old waste places; you will raise up the foundations of many generations; and you will be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
12 Seu povo reconstruirá as velhas ruínas e restaurará os alicerces antigos; você será chamado reparador de muros, restaurador de ruas e moradias.
13 If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, [and] the holy of Yahweh honorable; and will honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking [your own] words:
13 "Se você vigiar seus pés para não profanar o sábado e para não fazer o que bem quiser em meu santo dia; se você chamar delícia o sábado e honroso o santo dia do Senhor, e se honrá-lo, deixando de seguir seu próprio caminho, de fazer o que bem quiser e de falar futilidades,
14 then you will delight yourself in Yahweh; and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth; and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.
14 então você terá no Senhor a sua alegria, e eu farei com que você cavalgue nos altos da terra e se banqueteie com a herança de Jacó, seu pai. " Pois é o Senhor quem fala.
