1 Crônicas 29

1 And David the king said to all the assembly, Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great; for the palace is not for man, but for Yahweh God.
1 Disse mais o rei Davi a toda a congregação: Salomão, meu filho, o único a quem Deus escolheu, é ainda moço e inexperiente, e esta obra é grande; porque o palácio não é para homens, mas para o Senhor Deus.
2 Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for the [things of] gold, and the silver for the [things of] silver, and the bronze for the [things of] bronze, the iron for the [things of] iron, and wood for the [things of] wood; onyx stones, and [stones] to be set, stones for inlaid work, and of diverse colors, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
2 Eu, pois, com todas as minhas forças já preparei para a casa de meu Deus ouro para as obras de ouro, prata para as de prata, bronze para as de bronze, ferro para as de ferro e madeira para as de madeira; pedras de ônix, pedras de engaste, pedras de várias cores, de mosaicos e toda sorte de pedras preciosas, e mármore, e tudo em abundância.
3 Moreover also, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, seeing that I have a treasure of my own of gold and silver, I give it to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,
3 E ainda, porque amo a casa de meu Deus, o ouro e a prata particulares que tenho dou para a casa de meu Deus, afora tudo quanto preparei para o santuário:
4 even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, with which to overlay the walls of the houses;
4 três mil talentos de ouro, do ouro de Ofir, e sete mil talentos de prata purificada, para cobrir as paredes das casas;
5 of gold for the [things of] gold, and of silver for the [things of] silver, and for all manner of work [to be made] by the hands of artificers. Who then offers willingly to consecrate himself this day to Yahweh?
5 ouro para os objetos de ouro e prata para os de prata, e para toda obra de mão dos artífices. Quem, pois, está disposto, hoje, a trazer ofertas liberalmente ao Senhor ?
6 Then the princes of the fathers' [houses], and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers over the king's work, offered willingly;
6 Então, os chefes das famílias, os príncipes das tribos de Israel, os capitães de mil e os de cem e até os intendentes sobre as empresas do rei voluntariamente contribuíram
7 and they gave for the service of the house of God: of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand darics, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of bronze eighteen thousand talents, and of iron a hundred thousand talents.
7 e deram para o serviço da Casa de Deus cinco mil talentos de ouro, dez mil daricos, dez mil talentos de prata, dezoito mil talentos de bronze e cem mil talentos de ferro.
8 And they with whom [precious] stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of Yahweh, under the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
8 Os que possuíam pedras preciosas as trouxeram para o tesouro da Casa do Senhor , a cargo de Jeiel, o gersonita.
9 Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with a perfect heart they offered willingly to Yahweh: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
9 O povo se alegrou com tudo o que se fez voluntariamente; porque de coração íntegro deram eles liberalmente ao Senhor ; também o rei Davi se alegrou com grande júbilo.
10 Therefore David blessed Yahweh before all the assembly; and David said, Blessed be you, O Yahweh, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever.
10 Pelo que Davi louvou ao Senhor perante a congregação toda e disse: Bendito és tu, Senhor , Deus de Israel, nosso pai, de eternidade em eternidade.
11 Yours, O Yahweh, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heavens and in the earth [is yours]; yours is the kingdom, O Yahweh, and you are exalted as head above all.
11 Teu, Senhor , é o poder, a grandeza, a honra, a vitória e a majestade; porque teu é tudo quanto há nos céus e na terra; teu, Senhor , é o reino, e tu te exaltaste por chefe sobre todos.
12 Both riches and honor come of you, and you rule over all; and in your hand is power and might; and in your hand it is to make great, and to give strength to all.
12 Riquezas e glória vêm de ti, tu dominas sobre tudo, na tua mão há força e poder; contigo está o engrandecer e a tudo dar força.
13 Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.
13 Agora, pois, ó nosso Deus, graças te damos e louvamos o teu glorioso nome.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? For all things come of you, and of your own we have given you.
14 Porque quem sou eu, e quem é o meu povo para que pudéssemos dar voluntariamente estas coisas? Porque tudo vem de ti, e das tuas mãos to damos.
15 For we are strangers before you, and sojourners, as all our fathers were: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no hope [to remain on the earth].
15 Porque somos estranhos diante de ti e peregrinos como todos os nossos pais; como a sombra são os nossos dias sobre a terra, e não temos permanência.
16 O Yahweh our God, all this store that we have prepared to build you a house for your holy name comes of your hand, and is all your own.
16 Senhor , nosso Deus, toda esta abundância que preparamos para te edificar uma casa ao teu santo nome vem da tua mão e é toda tua.
17 I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now I have seen with joy your people, who are present here, offer willingly to you.
17 Bem sei, meu Deus, que tu provas os corações e que da sinceridade te agradas; eu também, na sinceridade de meu coração, dei voluntariamente todas estas coisas; acabo de ver com alegria que o teu povo, que se acha aqui, te faz ofertas voluntariamente.
18 O Yahweh, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of your people, and prepare their heart to you;
18 Senhor , Deus de nossos pais Abraão, Isaque e Israel, conserva para sempre no coração do teu povo estas disposições e pensamentos, inclina-lhe o coração para contigo;
19 and give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.
19 e a Salomão, meu filho, dá coração íntegro para guardar os teus mandamentos, os teus testemunhos e os teus estatutos, fazendo tudo para edificar este palácio para o qual providenciei.
20 And David said to all the assembly, Now bless Yahweh your{+} God. And all the assembly blessed Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshiped Yahweh, and the king.
20 Então, disse Davi a toda a congregação: Agora, louvai o Senhor , vosso Deus. Então, toda a congregação louvou ao Senhor , Deus de seus pais; todos inclinaram a cabeça, adoraram o Senhor e se prostraram perante o rei.
21 And they sacrificed sacrifices to Yahweh, and offered burnt-offerings to Yahweh, on the next day after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink-offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel,
21 Ao outro dia, trouxeram sacrifícios ao Senhor e lhe ofereceram holocaustos de mil bezerros, mil carneiros, mil cordeiros, com as suas libações; sacrifícios em abundância por todo o Israel.
22 and ate and drank before Yahweh on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him to Yahweh to be leader, and Zadok to be priest.
22 Comeram e beberam, naquele dia, perante o Senhor , com grande regozijo. Pela segunda vez, fizeram rei a Salomão, filho de Davi, e o ungiram ao
23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of Yahweh as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
23 Salomão assentou-se no trono do Senhor , rei, em lugar de Davi, seu pai, e prosperou; e todo o Israel lhe obedecia.
24 And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of King David, submitted themselves to Solomon the king.
24 Todos os príncipes, os grandes e até todos os filhos do rei Davi prestaram homenagens ao rei Salomão.
25 And Yahweh magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
25 O Senhor engrandeceu sobremaneira a Salomão perante todo o Israel; deu-lhe majestade real, qual antes dele não teve nenhum rei em Israel.
26 Now David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
26 Ora, Davi, filho de Jessé, reinou sobre todo o Israel.
27 And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years he reigned in Hebron, and thirty and three [years] he reigned in Jerusalem.
27 O tempo que reinou sobre Israel foi de quarenta anos: em Hebrom, sete; em Jerusalém, trinta e três.
28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
28 Morreu em ditosa velhice, cheio de dias, riquezas e glória; e Salomão, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
29 Now the acts of David the king, first and last, look, they are written in the history of Samuel the seer, and in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the history of Gad the seer,
29 Os atos, pois, do rei Davi, tanto os primeiros como os últimos, eis que estão escritos nas crônicas, registrados por Samuel, o vidente, nas crônicas do profeta Natã e nas crônicas de Gade, o vidente,
30 with all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.
30 juntamente com o que se passou no seu reinado e a respeito do seu poder e todos os acontecimentos que se deram com ele, com Israel e com todos os reinos daquelas terras.
