1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, (o. agape) and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
3 Anayabin kwa abaitumatum kwabia’ait isan, naatu a yabowamaim kura’ahi kwabowabow sunusunub isan, na’atube ata Regah Jesu Keriso kwaitumitum nuhifot kwama ewawainabi isan Tamat God nanamaim anunuhi.
4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

5 For our gospel came not unto you in word (o. logos) only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) and in much assurance; as all of you know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

6 And all of you became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word (o. logos) in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
6 Kwa aki kwai’u’uri na’atube ata Regah kwai’u’ur, biyababan gagamih maiyow wanawanah kwarun, baise Anun Kakafiyinane Tur Gewasin nan i yasisiramaim kwabai.
7 So that all of you were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
7 Isan imih kwa i kwana Masedonia naatu Akaiya Kirisiyan sabuw nahimaim kwatit itinin gewasin na’atube kwamatar.
8 For from you sounded out the word (o. logos) of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
8 Naatu men Regah ana tur kwa wanawanamaim bowabow akisin tit in Masedonia naatu Akaiya sabuw hinowaramih, baise God kwabitumitum ana tur auman tit tafaram ta ta etei hinowar tibidudur, imih aki boro abitur anao.
9 For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how all of you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
9 Nati sabuw aki abinanawani ana veya kwa mi’itube aki ai merar kwayi kwabubuwi i tibidudur naatu mi’itube uma matamatar kwaihamiyen kwana turobe God wanatowan ma’ama’anin isan kwabowabow i tibidudur.
10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
