4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.

5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Batanic ta bebetic. Iqꞌuic talel li buchꞌutic chataique, acꞌo xtal sqꞌuelic li qꞌuin nupunele”, xut batel.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.

10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.

11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.

12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Li ajvalile jech laj yalbe li yajtuneltaque: “Chucbeic yoc scꞌob li vinique. Jipic batel ta icꞌal acꞌubal. Te xꞌoqꞌuelet o, te xcꞌuxuxet o ye ta scoj ti tsots li vocol ta xichꞌe”, xi li ajvalile.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Jaꞌ svinajeb ti scotol icꞌbilic yuꞌun li Diose pero jutuc noꞌox li buchꞌutic tꞌujbilique, yuꞌun jutuc noꞌox li buchꞌutic ta scꞌanic ventainele ―xi li Jesuse.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Li jfariseoetique ba snopic li cꞌusi tsjacꞌbeic li Jesuse yoꞌ jech chaꞌiic li cꞌu sba chtacꞌave, yoꞌ cꞌuxi ta stabeic o smul ti yalojique.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Jech ijacꞌbatic yuꞌun li Jesuse:
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Itacꞌavic:
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

27 And last of all the woman also died.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?

29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 “Joꞌon Diosun yuꞌun li Abrahame, schiꞌuc li Isaaque, schiꞌuc li Jacove”, xi li Diose yuꞌun cuxulic. Ti lajemicuc o schiꞌuc schꞌulelic jech chac cꞌu chaꞌal chavalique, muꞌyuc Dios yuꞌunic yaꞌel. Li Diose jaꞌ Dios yuꞌunic li buchꞌutic cuxulic o sbatel osile ―xi li Jesuse.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 ―Jchanubtasvanej, ta scotol smantaltac li Dios ti laj yal comel li Moisés ta voꞌonee, ¿cꞌusi junucal ti más tsotse? ―xi.
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Itacꞌav li Jesuse:
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Leꞌe jaꞌ li más tsotse.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 ―¿Cꞌusi chanopic? ¿Buchꞌu ti smucꞌta moltot ta voꞌone li Cristo li tꞌujbil yuꞌun Dios ti chventainvane? ―xut.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Li Jesuse jech la sjacꞌbe nojtoc:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 Li Cajvale xi iꞌalbat yuꞌun li Diose:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Li Davide “Cajval”, xut li buchꞌu tꞌujbil yuꞌun Dios ti chventainvane. ¿Cꞌu chaꞌal “Cajval”, xut mi jaꞌ snitilul noꞌoxe? ―xi li Jesuse.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
