1 Yf thou se thy brothers oxe or shepe goo astraye, thou shalt not with drawe thy selfe from them: But shalt brynge them home agayne vnto thy brother.
1 Se vires extraviado o boi ou a ovelha de teu irmão, não te desviaras mas reconduzi-los-ás ao teu irmão.
2 Yf thy brother be not nye vnto the or yf thou knowe him not, then bringe them vnto thine awne housse and lett them be with the, vntyll thy brother axe after them, and then delyuer him them agayne.
2 Se este habitar longe, ou se não o conheceres, levarás o animal para a tua casa e ele aí ficará até que seja reclamado pelo teu irmão: então lho entregarás.
3 In like maner shalt thou doo with his asse, with his rayment and with all lost thinges of thy brother which he hath lost and thou hast founde, and thou maist not withdrawe thy selfe.
3 O mesmo farás com o seu jumento, com o seu manto e com qualquer objeto perdido por teu irmão e encontrado por ti. Não te desviarás desse objeto.
4 Yf thou se that thy brothers asse or oxe is fallen doune by the waye, thou shalt not withdrawe thy selfe from them: but shalt helpe him to heue them vp agayne.
4 Se vires o jumento ou o, boi de teu irmão caídos no caminho, não voltarás os olhos para o lado, mas ajudá-lo-ás a levantá-los.
5 The woman shall not weere that whiche pertayneth vnto the man, nether shall a man put on womans rayment. For all that doo so, are abhomynacyon vnto the Lorde thi God.
5 A mulher não se vestirá de homem, nem o homem se vestirá de mulher: aquele que o fizer será abominável diante do Senhor, seu Deus.
6 Yf thou chaunce vppon a byrds nest by the waye, in what soeuer tree it be or on the groude, whether they be younge or egges, ad the dame sittenge vppon the younge or vppo the egges: Thou shalt not take the mother with the younge.
6 Se encontrares no caminho, sobre uma árvore ou na terra, o ninho de uma ave, e a mãe posta sobre os filhotes ou sobre os ovos, não a apanharás com os filhotes.
7 But shalt in any wyse let the dame go and take the younge, that thou mayst prospere and prolonge thy dayes.
7 Deixarás partir a mãe e só tomarás os filhotes, para que se prolonguem os teus dias felizes.
8 When thou byldest a new housse, thou shalt make a batelmet vnto the roffe, that thou lade not bloude vppon thine housse, yf any ma fall there of.
8 Quando construíres uma casa nova, farás uma balaustrada em volta do teto, para que não se derrame sangue sobre a tua casa, se viesse alguém a cair lá de cima.
9 Thou shalt not sowe thy vyneyarde with dyuerse sede: lest thou halowe the sede whiche thou hast sowen with the frute off thy vyneyarde.
9 Não semearás em tua vinha várias espécies de sementes, para que se não considere tudo consagrado: o grão semeado e o produto da vinha.
10 Thou shalt not plowe with an oxe ad an asse togetherr
10 Não lavrarás com um boi e um jumento atrelados juntos.
11 Thou shalt not weere a garment made of woll and flax together.
11 Não trarás sobre ti uma veste de diferentes tecidos: lã e linho misturados.
12 Thou shalt put rybandes vpo the .iiij. quarters of thy vesture wherewith thou couerest thy selfe.
12 Porás no manto com que te cobrires borlas nos seus quatro cantos.
13 Yf a man take a wyfe and when he hath lyen with her hate her
13 Se um homem, depois de ter desposado uma mulher e a ter conhecido, vier a odiá-la,
14 ad leye shamefull thinges vnto hyr charge and brynge vp an euell name vppon her and saye: I toke this wyfe, and whe I came to her, I founde her not a mayde:
14 e, imputando-lhe faltas desonrosas, se puser a difamá-la, dizendo: desposei esta mulher e, ao aproximar-me dela, descobri que ela não era virgem,
15 The let the father of the damsell and the mother brynge forth the tokens of the damsels virginite, vnto the elders of the citie, euen vnto the gate.
15 então o pai e a mãe da donzela tomarão as provas de sua virgindade e as apresentarão aos anciães da cidade, à porta.
16 And let the damsels father saye vnto the elders, I gaue my doughter vnto this man to wife and he hateth her:
16 O pai dirá aos anciães: dei minha filha por mulher a este homem, mas porque ele lhe tem aversão,
17 and loo, he layeth shamefull thinges vnto hir charge saynge, I founde not thy doughter a mayde. And yet these ar the tokens of my doughters virginite. And let them sprede the vesture before the elders off the citie.
17 eis que agora lhe imputa faltas desonrosas, pretendendo não ter encontrado nela as marcas da virgindade. Ora, eis aqui as provas da virgindade de minha filha. E estenderão diante dos anciãos da cidade a veste de sua filha.
18 Then let the elders of that citie take that man and chastyce him
18 E os anciãos da cidade tomarão aquele homem e fá-lo-ão castigar,
19 and merce him in an hundred sycles of syluer and geue them vnto the father of the damsell, because he hath brought vpp an euell name vppon a mayde in Israel. And she shalbe his wife, and he may not put her awaye all his dayes.
19 impondo-lhe, além disso, uma multa, de cem siclos de prata, que eles darão ao pai da jovem em reparação da calúnia levantada contra uma virgem de Israel. E ela continuará sua mulher sem que ele jamais possa repudiá-la.
20 But and yf the thinge be of a suertie that the damsell be not founde a virgen,
20 Se, porém, o fato for verídico e não se tiverem comprovado as marcas de virgindade da jovem,
21 let them brynge her vnto the dore of hir fathers housse, and let the men of that citie stone her with stones to deeth, because she hath wrought folye in Israel, to playe the whore in hir fathers housse. And so thou shalt put euell awaye from the.
21 esta será conduzida ao limiar da casa paterna, e os habitantes de sua cidade a apedrejarão até que morra, porque cometeu uma infâmia em Israel, prostituindo-se na casa de seu pai. Assim, tirarás o mal do meio de ti.
22 Yf a man be founde lyenge with a woman, that hath a wedded husbonde, then let the dye etherother of the: both the man that laye with the wife and also the wife: so thou shalt put awaye euell from Israel.
22 Se se encontrar um homem dormindo com uma mulher casada, todos os dois deverão morrer: o homem que dormiu com a mulher, e esta da mesma forma. Assim, tirarás o mal do meio de ti.
23 Yf a mayde be hanfasted vnto an husbonde, and then a man finde her in the towne and leye with her,
23 Se uma virgem se tiver casado, e um homem, encontrando-a na cidade, dormir com ela,
24 then ye shall brynge them both out vnto the gates of that same citie and shall stone them with stones to deeth: The damsell because she cried not beynge in the citie: And the man, because he hath humbled his neyghbours wife, and thou shalt put awaye evell from the.
24 conduzireis um e outro à porta da cidade e os apedrejareis até que morram: a donzela, porque, estando na cidade, não gritou, e o homem por ter violado a mulher do seu próximo. Assim, tirarás o mal do meio de ti.
25 But yf a man finde a betrothed damsell in the felde and force her and leye with her: The the man that laye with her shall dye alone,
25 Mas se foi no campo que o homem encontrou a jovem e lhe fez violência para dormir com ela, nesse caso só ele deverá morrer,
26 and vnto the damsell thou shalt doo no harme: because there is in the damsell no cause of deeth. For as when a man ryseth agenste his neyghboure and sleyeth him, eue so is this matter.
26 e nada fareis à jovem, que não cometeu uma falta digna de morte, porque é um caso similar ao do homem que se atira sobre o seu próximo e o mata:
27 For he founde her in the feldes and the betrothed damsell cried: but there was no ma to succoure her.
27 foi no campo que o homem a encontrou; a jovem gritou, mas não havia ninguém que a socorresse.
28 Yf a man finde a mayde that is not betrothed ad take her ad lye with her ad be founde:
28 Se um homem encontrar uma jovem virgem, que não seja casada, e, tomando-a, dormir com ela, e forem apanhados,
29 Then the man that laye with her shall geue vnto the damsells father .l. sycles of syluer. And she shall be his wife, because he hath humbled her, and he maye not put her awaye all hys dayes.
29 esse homem dará ao pai da jovem cinqüenta siclos de prata, e ela tornar-se-á sua mulher. Como a deflorou, não poderá repudiá-la em todos os dias de sua vida.
30 No man shall take his fathers wife, nor vnheale his fathers couerynge.
30 Ninguém desposará a mulher de seu pai, nem levantará a cobertura do leito paterno.
