1 Him that is weake in the fayth receave vnto you not in disputynge and troublynge his conscience.
1 Aceitem o que é fraco na fé, sem discutir assuntos controvertidos.
2 One beleveth that he maye eate all thinge. Another which is weake eateth earbes.
2 Um crê que pode comer de tudo; já outro, cuja fé é fraca, come apenas alimentos vegetais.
3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not. And let not him whiche eateth not iudge him that eateth. For God hath receaved him.
3 Aquele que come de tudo não deve desprezar o que não come, e aquele que não come de tudo não deve condenar aquele que come, pois Deus o aceitou.
4 What arte thou that iudgest another manes servaut? Whether he stonde or faule that pertayneth vnto his master: ye he shall stonde. For God is able to make him stonde.
4 Quem é você para julgar o servo alheio? É para o seu senhor que ele está de pé ou cai. E ficará de pé, pois o Senhor é capaz de o sustentar.
5 This man putteth difference bitwene daye and daye. Another man counteth all dayes alyke. Se that no man waver in his awne meanynge.
5 Há quem considere um dia mais sagrado que outro; há quem considere iguais todos os dias. Cada um deve estar plenamente convicto em sua própria mente.
6 He that observeth one daye more then another doth it for ye lordes pleasure. And he that observeth not one daye moare then another doeth it to please ye lorde also. He that eateth doth it to please the lorde for he geveth god thankes.
6 Aquele que considera um dia como especial, para o Senhor assim o faz. Aquele que come carne, come para o Senhor, pois dá graças a Deus; e aquele que se abstém, para o Senhor se abstém, e dá graças a Deus.
7 And he yt eateth not eateth not to please ye lorde wt all and geveth god thankes.
7 Pois nenhum de nós vive apenas para si, e nenhum de nós morre apenas para si.
8 For none of vs lyveth his awne servaut: nether doeth anye of vs dye his awne servaunt. Yf we lyve we lyve to be at ye lordes will. And yf we dye we dye at ye lordes will. Whether we lyve therfore or dye we are the lordes.
8 Se vivemos, vivemos para o Senhor; e, se morremos, morremos para o Senhor. Assim, quer vivamos, quer morramos, pertencemos ao Senhor.
9 For Christ therfore dyed and rose agayne and revived that he myght be lorde both of deed and quicke.
9 Por esta razão Cristo morreu e voltou a viver, para ser Senhor de vivos e de mortos.
10 But why doest thou then iudge thy brother? Other why doest thou despyse thy brother? We shall all be brought before the iudgement seate of Christ.
10 Portanto, você, por que julga seu irmão? E por que despreza seu irmão? Pois todos compareceremos diante do tribunal de Deus.
11 For it is written: as truely as I lyve sayth ye lorde all knees shall bowe to me and all tonges shall geve a knowledge to God.
11 Porque está escrito: " ‘Por mim mesmo jurei’, diz o Senhor, ‘diante de mim todo joelho se dobrará e toda língua confessará que sou Deus’ ".
12 So shall every one of vs geve accomptes of him selfe to God.
12 Assim, cada um de nós prestará contas de si mesmo a Deus.
13 Let vs not therfore iudge one another eny more. But iudge this rather that no man put a stomblynge blocke or an occasion to faule in his brothers waye.
13 Portanto, deixemos de julgar uns aos outros. Em vez disso, façamos o propósito de não colocar pedra de tropeço ou obstáculo no caminho do irmão.
14 For I knowe and am full certified in the Lorde Iesus that ther is nothinge comen of it selfe: but vnto him that iudgeth it to be comen: to him is it comen.
14 Como alguém que está no Senhor Jesus, tenho plena convicção de que nenhum alimento é por si mesmo impuro, a não ser para quem assim o considere; para ele é impuro.
15 If thy brother be greved with thy meate now walkest thou not charitablye. Destroye not him with thy meate for whom Christ dyed.
15 Se o seu irmão se entristece devido ao que você come, você já não está agindo por amor. Por causa da sua comida, não destrua seu irmão, por quem Cristo morreu.
16 Cause not youre treasure to be evyll spoken of.
16 Aquilo que é bom para vocês não se torne objeto de maledicência.
17 For the kyngdome of God is not meate and drinke: but rightewesnes peace and ioye in the holy goost.
17 Pois o Reino de Deus não é comida nem bebida, mas justiça, paz e alegria no Espírito Santo;
18 For whosoever in these thinges serveth Christ pleaseth well God and is commended of men.
18 aquele que assim serve a Cristo é agradável a Deus e aprovado pelos homens.
19 Let vs folowe tho thinges which make for peace and thinges wherwith one maye edyfie another.
19 Por isso, esforcemo-nos em promover tudo quanto conduz à paz e à edificação mútua.
20 Destroye not ye worke of god for a lytell meates sake. All thinges are pure: but it is evyll for that man which eateth with hurte of his conscience.
20 Não destrua a obra de Deus por causa da comida. Todo alimento é puro, mas é errado comer qualquer coisa que faça os outros tropeçarem.
21 It is good nether to eate flesshe nether to drincke wyne nether eny thinge wherby thy brother stombleth ether falleth or is made weake.
21 É melhor não comer carne nem beber vinho, nem fazer qualquer outra coisa que leve seu irmão a cair.
22 Hast thou fayth? have it with thy selfe before god. Happy is he yt condempneth not him selfe in that thinge which he aloweth.
22 Assim, seja qual for o seu modo de crer a respeito destas coisas, que isso permaneça entre você e Deus. Feliz é o homem que não se condena naquilo que aprova.
23 For he yt maketh conscience is dampned yf he eate: because he doth it not of fayth. For whatsoever is not of fayth that same is synne.
23 Mas aquele que tem dúvida é condenado se comer, porque não come com fé; e tudo o que não provém da fé é pecado.
