1 And it came to passe wha men bega to multiplye apo the erth ad had begot them doughters
1 E aconteceu que, quando os homens começaram a se multiplicar sobre a face da terra, e filhas lhes nasceram,
2 the sonnes of God sawe the doughters of men that they were fayre and toke vnto them wyves which they best liked amoge the all.
2 os filhos de Deus viram que as filhas dos homens eram belas; e tomaram para si esposas de todas que escolheram.
3 And the LORd sayd: My spirite shall not allwaye stryve withe man for they are flesh. Nevertheles I wyll geue them yet space and hundred and .xx. yeres
3 E o SENHOR disse: Meu Espírito não contenderá sempre com o homem, pois ele também é carne. Porém, seus dias serão cento e vinte anos.
4 There were tirantes in the world in thos dayes. For after that the children of God had gone in vnto the doughters of men and had begotten them childern the same childern were the mightiest of the world and men of renowne
4 Havia gigantes na terra naqueles dias, e também depois disso, quando os filhos de Deus entraram às filhas dos homens, e elas lhes geraram filhos, estes se tornaram homens poderosos que eram na antiguidade, homens de renome.
5 And whan the LORde sawe yt the wekednesse of man was encreased apon the erth and that all the ymaginacion and toughtes of his hert was only evell continually
5 E Deus viu que a maldade do homem era grande na terra, e que toda a imaginação dos pensamentos do seu coração era apenas vil continuamente.
6 he repented that he had made man apon the erth and sorowed in his hert.
6 E arrependeu-se o SENHOR de haver feito o homem na terra, e isso o afligia em seu coração.
7 And sayd: I wyll destroy mankynde which I haue made fro of the face of the erth: both man beast worme and foule of the ayre for it repeteth me that I haue made them.
7 E o SENHOR disse: Eu destruirei o homem a quem criei da face da terra; tanto o homem quanto o animal, e a coisa rastejante, e as aves do céu; pois me arrependi de havê-los feito.
8 But yet Noe found grace in the syghte of the LORde.
8 Mas Noé encontrou graça aos olhos do SENHOR.
9 These are the generatios of Noe. Noe was a righteous man and vncorrupte in his tyme and walked wyth god.
9 Estas são as gerações de Noé: Noé foi um homem justo e perfeito nas suas gerações, e Noé andava com Deus.
10 And Noe begat .iij. sonnes: Sem Ham and Iapheth.
10 E Noé gerou três filhos: Sem, Cam e Jafé.
11 And the erth was corrupte in the syghte of god and was full of mischefe.
11 A terra também estava corrompida diante de Deus, e a terra estava cheia de violência.
12 And God loked vpon the erth ad loo it was corrupte: for all flesh had corrupte his way vppon the erth.
12 E Deus olhou para a terra, e eis que ela estava corrompida, pois toda a carne havia corrompido seu caminho sobre a terra.
13 Than sayd God to Noe: the end of all flesh is come before me for the erth is full of there myschefe. And loo I wyll destroy them with the erth.
13 E Deus disse a Noé: O fim de toda a carne chegou diante de mim; pois a terra está cheia de violência por meio deles; e eis que eu os destruirei com a terra.
14 Make the an arcke of pyne tree and make chaumbers in the arcke and pytch it wythin and wythout wyth pytch.
14 Faze para ti uma arca de madeira de gofer; farás compartimentos na arca e a betumarás por dentro e por fora com betume.
15 And of this facion shalt thou make it.The lenth of the arcke shall be .iij. hundred cubytes ad the bredth of it .l. cubytes and the heyth of it .xxx. cubytes.
15 E esta é a forma em que tu a farás: O comprimento da arca será trezentos côvados; a sua largura de cinquenta côvados; e a sua altura de trinta côvados.
16 A wyndow shalt thou make aboue in the arcke. And wythin a cubyte compasse shalt thou finysh it.And the dore of the arcke shalt thou sette in ye syde of it: and thou shalt make it with .iij loftes one aboue an other.
16 Uma janela farás para a arca, e em um côvado a acabarás em cima; e a porta da arca colocarás em sua lateral, lhe farás com andares, inferior, um segundo e um terceiro.
17 For behold I wil bringe in a floud of water apon the erth to destroy all flesh from vnder heaven wherin breth of life is so that all that is in the erth shall perish.
17 E eis que eu mesmo trago um dilúvio de águas sobre a terra, para destruir toda a carne em que há sopro de vida de debaixo do céu. E toda coisa que está na terra morrerá.
18 But I will make myne apoyntement with the that both thou shalt come in to ye arcke and thy sonnes thy wyfe and thy sonnes wyves with the.
18 Mas contigo eu estabelecerei o meu pacto; e tu entrarás na arca, tu e teus filhos, e tua mulher, e as mulheres de teus filhos contigo.
19 And of all that lyveth what soever flesh it be shalt thou brynge in to the arcke of every thynge a payre to kepe them a lyve wyth the. And male and female
19 E de toda coisa vivente de toda a carne, dois de cada espécie, tu trarás para dentro da arca, para guardá-los vivos contigo; eles serão macho e fêmea.
20 se that they be of byrdes in their kynde and of beastes in their kynde and of all maner of wormes of the erth in their kinde: a payre of every thinge shall come vnto the to kepe them a lyve.
20 De aves segundo a sua espécie, e de gado segundo a sua espécie, de toda coisa rastejante da terra segundo a sua espécie, dois de cada espécie virão a ti, para guardá-los vivos.
21 And take vnto the of all maner of meate yt may be eaten and laye it vp in stoore by the that it may be meate both for ye and for the:
21 E tomarás para ti de todo alimento que se come, e o ajuntarás a ti, e será por alimento para ti, e para eles.
22 and Noe dyd acordynge to all that God commaunded hym.
22 Assim fez Noé; segundo tudo o que Deus lhe ordenou, assim ele fez.
