1 Loue the Lorde thi God and kepe his obseruaunces, his ordinaunces, his lawes and his commaundmentes alwaye.
1 Portanto, amarás ao SENHOR teu Deus, e guardarás a sua ordem, e os seus estatutos, e os seus juízos, e os seus mandamentos, sempre.
2 And call to mynde this daye that which youre childern haue nether knowen nor sene: euen the nurture of the Lorde youre God, his greatnesse, his myghtye hande and his stretched out arme:
2 E sabei neste dia, porque eu falo não com os vossos filhos, que não sabem e que não viram a punição do SENHOR vosso Deus, a sua grandeza, a sua mão forte e o seu braço estendido,
3 his miracles and his actes which he dyd amonge the Egiptias, euen vnto Pharao the kinge off Egipte and vnto all his lode:
3 e os seus milagres, e os seus atos, que ele fez no meio do Egito, a Faraó, o rei do Egito, e a toda a sua terra;
4 ad what he dyd vnto the host of the Egiptias, vnto their horses ad charettes, how he brought the water of the red see vppon the as they chased you, and how the Lorde hath brought them to nought vnto this daye:
4 e o que ele fez ao exército do Egito, a seus cavalos e a suas carruagens; ou como ele fez com que a água do mar Vermelho os cobrisse, quando vos perseguiam, e como o SENHOR os destruiu neste dia;
5 ad what he dyd vnto you in the wildernesse, vntill ye came vnto this place:
5 e o que ele vos fez no deserto, até que chegásseis a este lugar;
6 ad what he dyd vnto Dathan and Abiram the sonnes of Eliab the sonne of Ruben, how the erth opened hir mouth ad swalowed the with their housholdes and their tentes, ad all their substace that was in their possessio, in the myddes of Israel.
6 nem o que ele fez a Datã e Abirão, os filhos de Eliabe, o filho de Rúben; como a terra abriu sua boca e os tragou, e às suas famílias e suas tendas, e toda a riqueza que era sua posse, no meio de Israel;
7 For youre eyes haue sene all the greate deades of the Lorde which he dyd.
7 mas os vossos olhos viram todos os grandes atos que o SENHOR fez.
8 Kepe therfore al the comaundmentes which I comaunde the this daye that ye maye be stronge ad goo and conquere the londe whother ye go to possesse it,
8 Portanto, guardareis todos os mandamentos que vos ordeno hoje, para que possais ser fortes, e ir e possuir a terra, para onde vais, para possuí-la;
9 ad that ye maye prolonge youre dayes in the londe which the Lorde sware vnto youre fathers to geue vnto them ad to their seed, a londe that floweth with mylke and honye.
9 e para que prolongueis os vossos dias na terra, que o SENHOR jurou a vossos pais que lhes daria, e à sua semente, uma terra que mana leite e mel.
10 For the londe whother thou goest to possesse it, is not as the londe of Egipte whence thou camest out, where thou sowedest thi seed and wateredest it with thi laboure as a garden of herbes:
10 Porque a terra para onde vais, para possuí-la, não é como a terra do Egito, de onde saístes, onde semeavas a tua semente, e a regavas com teus pés, como um jardim de ervas;
11 but the londe whither ye goo ouer to possesse it, is a londe of hilles and valeyes and drynketh water of the rayne of heaue,
11 mas a terra para onde vais, para possuí-la, é uma terra de colinas e vales, e bebe a água da chuva dos céus;
12 and a londe which the Lorde thi God careth for. The eyes of the Lord thi God are always apo it, from the begynnynge of the yere vnto the later ende of the yere.
12 uma terra de que o SENHOR teu Deus cuida; os olhos do SENHOR teu Deus estão sempre sobre ela, desde o começo do ano até o fim do ano.
13 Yf thou shalt herken therfore vnto my commaundementes which I commaunde you this daye, that ye loue the Lorde youre God and serue him with all youre hertes and with all youre soules:
13 E acontecerá que, se ouvirdes diligentemente os meus mandamentos, que vos ordeno hoje, que ameis ao SENHOR vosso Deus, e que o sirvais com todo o vosso coração e com toda a vossa alma,
14 then he will geue rayne vnto youre londe in due season, both the fyrst rayne and the later, and thou shalt gather in thy corne, thy wyne and thyne oyle.
14 que vos darei a chuva da vossa terra, na sua devida estação, na chuva temporã e na chuva serôdia, para que possas colher o teu grão, e o teu vinho, e o teu azeite.
15 And he will sende grasse in thy feldes for thy catell: and thou shalt eate and fyll thy selfe.
15 E enviarei grama aos teus campos, para o teu gado, para que comas e te sacies.
16 But bewarre that youre hertes disceaue you not that ye turne asyde and serue straunge goddes and worshepe them,
16 Cuidai para que o vosso coração não seja enganado, e não vos desviais, e sirvais a outros deuses, e os adoreis;
17 and the the wrath of the Lorde waxe hote vpon you ad shott vp the heauen that there be no rayne and that youre londe yeld not hir frute, and that ye peresh quickly from of the good lode which the Lorde geueth you.
17 e então a ira do SENHOR se acenderá contra vós, e ele fechará os céus, para que não haja chuva, e a terra não dê seu fruto; e para que não pereçais rapidamente na boa terra que o SENHOR vos deu.
18 Putt vp therfore these my wordes in youre hertes and in youre soules, and bynde them for a sygne vnto youre handes, and lett them be as papers of remembraunce betwene youre eyes,
18 Portanto, guardareis estas minhas palavras em vosso coração e em vossa alma, e as atarás como sinal à vossa mão, para que possam ser como testeira entre os vossos olhos.
19 and teach them youre childern: so that thou talke of them when thou syttest in thyne housse, and when thou walkest by the waye, and when thou lyest doune and when thou rysest vpp:
19 E vós ensinareis a vossos filhos, falando sobre elas quando tu assentares em tua casa, e quando tu andares pelo caminho, quando tu te deitares e quando tu te levantares.
20 yee and write them vppon the dorepostes of thine housse and vppon thi gates,
20 E as escreverás nos umbrais de tua casa, e nas tuas portas,
21 that youre dayes may be multiplyed ad the dayes of youre childern apon the erth which the Lorde sware vnto youre fathers to geue them, as longe as the dayes of heaue last vpon the erth.
21 para que os vossos dias se multipliquem, e os dias dos vossos filhos na terra que o SENHOR jurou a vossos pais que daria a eles, como os dias dos céus sobre a terra.
22 For yf ye shall kepe all these comaundmentes which I comaunde you, so that ye doo the and loue the Lorde youre God and walke in all his wayes and cleaue vnto him.
22 Porque se guardardes diligentemente a todos os mandamentos que agora vos ordeno, para que os cumprais, amando ao SENHOR vosso Deus, andando em todos os seus caminhos e apegando-vos a ele,
23 Then will the Lorde cast out all these nacions both greatter and myghtyer then youre selues.
23 então o SENHOR expulsará todas essas nações de diante de vós, e possuireis nações maiores e mais poderosas do que vós.
24 All the places where on the soles of youre fete shall treade, shalbe youres: euen from the wildernesse and from Libanon and from the ryuer Ephrates, euen vnto the vttermost see shall youre costes be.
24 Todo lugar onde pisar a sola dos vossos pés será vosso: desde o deserto e o Líbano, desde o rio, o rio Eufrates, até o mar mais distante será o vosso termo.
25 There shall no man be able to stonde before you: the Lorde youre God shal cast the feare and dreade of you vppo all londes whether ye shall come, as he hath sayed vnto you.
25 Não haverá homem capaz de ficar de pé diante de vós, pois o SENHOR vosso Deus porá o temor a vós e o terror a vós sobre toda a terra que pisardes, como já vos disse.
26 Beholde, I seet before you this daye, a blessynge and a curse:
26 Eis que neste dia ponho diante de vós, uma bênção e uma maldição:
27 a blessynge: yf that ye herke vnto the commaundmentes of the Lorde youre God which I comaude you this daye:
27 uma bênção, se obedecerdes aos mandamentos do SENHOR vosso Deus, que vos ordeno neste dia;
28 And a curse: yf ye will not herke vnto the comaundmentes of the Lord youre God: but turne out of the waye which I commaude you this daye to goo after straunge goddes which ye haue not knowen.
28 e uma maldição, se não obedecerdes aos mandamentos do SENHOR vosso Deus, mas vos desviardes do caminho que vos ordeno neste dia, se buscardes outros deuses que não conheceis.
29 When the Lorde thi God hath brought the in to the londe whother thou goest to possesse it, then put the blessinge vppon mount Grisim and the curse vppon mount Ebal,
29 E acontecerá que, quando o SENHOR teu Deus te tiver trazido à terra para onde vais para possuí-la, que porás a bênção sobre o monte Gerizim, e a maldição sobre o monte Ebal.
30 which are on the other syde Iordane on the backe side of the waye towarde the goynge doune of the sonne in the lode of the Cananites which dwell in the feldes ouer agenst Gilgal besyde moregroue.
30 Estão eles do outro lado do Jordão, pelo caminho onde o sol se põe, na terra dos cananeus, que habitam na planície diante de Gilgal, além das planícies de Moré?
31 For ye shall goo ouer to goo and possesse the londe which the Lorde youre God geueth you, and shall conquere it ad dwell there in.
31 Pois passareis o Jordão para possuirdes a terra que o SENHOR vosso Deus vos deu, e a possuireis, e ali habitareis.
32 Take hede therfore that ye doo al the comaundmentes and lawes, which I sett before you this daye.
32 E cuidareis de cumprir todos os estatutos e os juízos que coloco diante de vós neste dia.
