1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:

2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Ntons eb'ajxik tlajo' kye tmos uk'lel kye aj uk'leme' tuj te pyest, per kye aj uk'leme' k'onti'l okyb'anij tzan kypon.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Yaji eb'ajxik tlajo' junky'el kye tmos b'ix oxik tq'uma' kyetz ikxjani: “Intxik eq'uma' kyuky'i kye aj uk'leme' witza', wetz ma'tx kyeqet nkansa' kye nwakaxh b'ix kye walo' aj b'an worte' b'ix kyaqil ma'tx b'antik [tzan qpyestin]. Pe'etzaj ajna'l tuj te pyest.”
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.

5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.

6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Yaji oxik tq'uma' kye tmos ikxjani: “Kyaqil ma'tx b'antik tzan taq'ik te pyest, per kye aj etzaj wuk'le' tb'aya' nya'tx tuq kymeres tzan kyul.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ajna'l pex etetz tuj te nim b'ey b'ix inktzaj etuk'le' tuj te pyest aj okye'okelnoj ewitz.”
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.

10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Ya ma tz'ox te k'ulul mandad e'el kye aj uk'leme', oxik tka'yi' jun xjal aj k'onti'l tuq atok jun tq'anaq galan te jun pyest toklen junan kab'e' xjal.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 B'ix oxik tq'uma' tetz ikxjani: “Wamiw, ¿titza' ma xhch'otz tzani b'ix qa k'onti'l atok jun aq'anaq galan?” Per te xjal k'onti'l owaj stzaq'b'e' ch'inwt.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Ntons te k'ulul mandad oxik tq'uma' kye tmos: “Intqet ek'alo' toq b'ix tq'ab', b'ix intex etin jwer tuj qlolj. Tzi owokelten oq'el b'ix ma qitx'itx'in txe' te'.”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Yaji owaj ktzaq'b'e' tetz ikxjani: «Titzb'alil te César aj twitzale' k'ulul mandad.» Ntons te Jesus oxik tq'uma' kyetz ikxjani: «Intxik esi' te César aj tetzkixi' b'ix intxik esi' te Qtata Dios aj te Qtata Dios.»
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ya ma tz'ok kcha'o' ikxji, kyetz oje kyelab'an b'ix okaj ksi' b'ix eb'aj'aj.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Yaji ax ikxji oky'ik ti'j te tkab'i', b'ix ax ti'j te toxi' ermanj, b'ix ikxji oky'ik kyuky'i kye txq'anky ermanj max tuky'i te twuqi'.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Ya ma kamik te twuqi' ermanj, ax okamik te xujky.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Ntons oj kyjaw anq'in kye kamnaq, ntons kxol kye kywuqi' ichan, ¿ab'l jun te kyetz owokel tichmil te xuj? Komo te xuj owok junan kyuky'i kywuqil.»
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yaji te Jesus owaj stzaq'b'e' kyetz ikxjani: «Etetz k'onti'l n'el eniky' tzan tpaj k'onti'l eteb'en te Tu'jal Dios b'ix k'onti'l n'el eniky' ti'j te tajwalil Qtata Dios.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:

32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yaji te Jesus owaj stzaq'b'e' ikxjani: «Intqet egani' te Etajawil aj Qtata Dios ntzaj ena'o', intqet egani' tuky'i jun tk'u'jlal tuj etanim, b'ix tuky'i jun tk'u'jlal tuky'i ebalor, b'ix tuky'i jun tk'u'jlal tuky'i enab'l.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:

42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!

43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
