7 {Ye} husbands likewise, dwell with {them} according to knowledge, as with a weaker, {even} the female, vessel, giving {them} honour, as also fellow-heirs of {the} grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.
8 Yen kerekŋe manman âiloŋgoân manŋetgât yuwu sâmune nâŋgâŋet. Biwi nâŋgân nâŋgânyeŋaŋe kepeiakmâ konohâk otmu mannomai. Yawu manmâ yeŋahâlâk ki nâŋgâŋetâ yahatbuap. Bukulipyeŋe yeŋgât nâŋgâŋetâ yahatmu yâk orop tânahom mannomai.

9 Yâhâ lohimbi nombotŋaŋe nâŋgâm bâleyiŋgim den bâleŋe hâiyeknomai, me nombotŋaŋe mem ge katyeknomai. Yanâmâ yeŋe yakât matŋe kâpekyiŋgine sâm ki nâŋgânomai. Yawu otmâ mem sânduk tuhuyekmâ buku otyiŋgiŋetgât Anitâŋe meyekmu yâkâlen biwiyeŋaŋe kepeim manmâ gai. Yawu mannomai yanâmâ Anitâŋe meyekmâ manman sânduhân katyekmâ tihityeŋe otmâ yâhâwuap.
9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing {others}, because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing.
10 Manman yawu yakât emelâk lok âlâŋe den kulemguop ya yuwu tap.
10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
11 Orotmeme bâleŋe yawuya bet pilâm biwiyeŋe Anitâhâlen katmâ yâkât tem lâum buku oraŋgim mannomai.
11 And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it;
12 Yawu mannomai yanâmâ Anitâ mepaem yu me yakât ulitgunomai yanâmâ nâŋgâyiŋgim tihityeŋe otbuap. Yawu gârâmâ lohimbi nombotŋaŋe orotmemeyeŋe bâleŋe ya witgum otmâ mannomai yamâ pilâyekbuap.” Den kulemguop ya yawu tap.
12 because {the} eyes of {the} Lord {are} on {the} righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but {the} face of {the} Lord {is} against them that do evil.
13 Bukulipne, yeŋe orotmeme âiloŋgoâk otnehâlâk nâŋgâm mannomai yanâmâ lok âlâ me âlâŋe ki mem ge katyeknomai.
13 And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which {is} good?
14 Yawu gârâmâ yeŋe orotmeme âiloŋgo otmâ manŋetâ lok bâleŋaŋe mem âlâlâ tuhuyeknomai yanâmâ Anitâŋe meyekbuap. Yakât nâŋgâm lok bâleŋe yeŋgât ki kiŋgityeŋahât otnomai, otmu umatŋe âlâlâ kakyeŋan yâhâmap sâm yakât ki gorâyiŋgiwuap.
14 E até sereis felizes, se padecerdes alguma coisa por causa da justiça!
15 Yawu nâŋgâm Kutdânenŋe Kiristohâlen biwiyeŋaŋe tiŋâk kepeim ewe katmâ tem lâuwaŋgim manmâ yâhânomai. Otmu âwurem ge meyekbuap yakât nâŋgâm biwiyeŋaŋe mem mannomai. Yakât topŋe lohimbi nombotŋaŋe nâŋgânehât âiyongoŋetâ yakât ki hâum pâpgum kopa otnomai.
15 Portanto, não temais as suas ameaças e não vos turbeis. Antes santificai em vossos corações Cristo, o Senhor. Estai sempre prontos a responder para vossa defesa a todo aquele que vos pedir a razão de vossa esperança, mas fazei-o com suavidade e respeito.

Yawu manmunŋe Anitâŋe nenekmu ârândâŋ oap nâŋgâm biwiyeŋan ki hâuyekbuap.
16 Tende uma consciência reta a fim de que, mesmo naquilo em que dizem mal de vós, sejam confundidos os que desacreditam o vosso santo procedimento em Cristo.
17 Yâhâ Anitâŋe lohimbi belângen manmai ya yeŋgât mâtâp ki maŋguyiŋgimu yeŋgât manmanyeŋe âlepŋe ya ekmâ sâm bâleyiŋgim hâhiwin kakŋan katyekŋetâ yanâmâ yâkŋe tihityeŋe otbuap. Yâhâ yeŋahâk otmâ hilipguŋetâ yakât matŋe yiŋgiŋetâ umatŋe kakŋan mannomai yakât Anitâŋe nâŋgâmu ârândâŋ otbuap.
17 Aliás, é melhor padecer, se Deus assim o quiser, por fazer o bem do que por fazer o mal.

Yâhâ Kiristoŋeâmâ ki otmu bâleop. Anitâŋe nen kaok nâŋgâningiâkgât Kiristo ikŋak tosanenŋahât otmâ kawenenŋan kinmu kuŋetâ muop. Yakât Anitâŋe nâŋgâmu ârândâŋ otmu umutŋe miop.
18 Pois também Cristo morreu uma vez pelos nossos pecados - o Justo pelos injustos - para nos conduzir a Deus. Padeceu a morte em sua carne, mas foi vivificado quanto ao espírito.
