1 The declaration of Yahweh to my Lord—Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
1 Disse o Senhor ao meu senhor: Assenta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha os teus inimigos debaixo dos teus pés.
2 Thy sceptre of strength, will Yahweh extend out of Zion, Tread thou down, in the midst of thy foes.
2 O Senhor enviará de Sião o cetro do seu poder, dizendo: Domina entre os teus inimigos.
3 Thy people, will freely offer themselves, in the day of thine army,—in the splendours of holiness, out of the womb of the dawn, To thee, [shall spring forth] the dew of thy youth.
3 Apresentar-se-á voluntariamente o teu povo, no dia do teu poder; com santos ornamentos, como o orvalho emergindo da aurora, serão os teus jovens.
4 Yahweh, hath sworn—and will not repent, Thou, [shalt be] a priest unto times age-abiding, after the manner of Melchizedek.
4 O Senhor jurou e não se arrependerá: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.
5 My Lord, on thy right hand,—hath shattered—in the day of his anger—kings;
5 O Senhor, à tua direita, no dia da sua ira, esmagará os reis.
6 He will judge among the nations—full of dead bodies! He hath shattered the head over a land far extended:
6 Ele julga entre as nações; enche-as de cadáveres; esmagará cabeças por toda a terra.
7 Of the torrent in the way, will he drink;—For this cause, will he lift up [his] head.
7 De caminho, bebe na torrente e passa de cabeça erguida.
