¹ Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Yhwh.

¹ Das profundezas clamo a ti, Senhor .

² Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

² Escuta, Senhor, a minha voz; estejam alertas os teus ouvidos às minhas súplicas.

³ If thou, Yah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

³ Se observares, Senhor , iniquidades, quem, Senhor, subsistirá?

⁴ But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

⁴ Contigo, porém, está o perdão, para que te temam.

⁵ I wait for Yhwh, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

⁵ Aguardo o Senhor , a minha alma o aguarda; eu espero na sua palavra.

⁶ My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

⁶ A minha alma anseia pelo Senhor mais do que os guardas pelo romper da manhã. Mais do que os guardas pelo romper da manhã,

⁷ Let Israel hope in Yhwh: for with Yhwh there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

⁷ espere Israel no Senhor , pois no nele, copiosa redenção.

⁸ And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

⁸ É ele quem redime a Israel de todas as suas iniquidades.
