¹ On the holy mountain stands the city he founded.

¹ O fundamento dela está nos montes santos.

² The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

² O Senhor ama as portas de Sião mais do que todas as habitações de Jacó.

³ Glorious things he is speaking of you, you city of God. (Selah)

³ Coisas gloriosas se dizem de ti, ó cidade de Deus.

⁴ “Among those who are mine I name Rahab and Babylon, Philistia, Tyre, Ethiopia, their people will say I was born in Zion.

⁴ Farei menção de Raabe e de Babilônia dentre os que me conhecem; eis que da Filístia, e de Tiro, e da Etiópia, se dirá: Este nasceu ali.

⁵ As for Zion it will be said each and all were born in her.” The Lord will preserve her.

⁵ Sim, de Sião se dirá: Este e aquele nasceram ali; e o próprio Altíssimo a estabelecerá.

⁶ The Lord shall count, when enrolling the peoples, “This one was born there, and that one was born there.” (Selah)

⁷ Singers and dancers alike will say “All my springs are in you.”
