¹ Sin whispers within heart of the wicked, who have no dread of God before their eyes.

¹ Há no coração do ímpio a voz da transgressão; não há temor de Deus diante de seus olhos.

² It flatters them in their eyes that their sin will not be found out.

² Porque a transgressão o lisonjeia a seus olhos e lhe diz que a sua iniquidade não há de ser descoberta, nem detestada.

³ First, their speech becomes wicked and false, they give up acting wisely and well.

³ As palavras de sua boca são malícia e dolo; abjurou o discernimento e a prática do bem.

⁴ Then they plot deliberate wrong, take their stand on the wicked way, without the least shrinking from evil.

⁴ No seu leito, maquina a perversidade, detém-se em caminho que não é bom, não se despega do mal.

⁵ Your love, O Lord, touches the heavens, your faithfulness reaches the clouds.

⁵ A tua benignidade, Senhor , chega até aos céus, até às nuvens, a tua fidelidade.

⁶ Your justice is like the great mountains, your judgments are like the broad sea. Lord, you save people and animals.

⁶ A tua justiça é como as montanhas de Deus; os teus juízos, como um abismo profundo. Tu,

⁷ How precious your love, O God! All may seek shelter in the shadow of your wings.

⁷ Como é preciosa, ó Deus, a tua benignidade! Por isso, os filhos dos homens se acolhem à sombra das tuas asas.

⁸ They feast on the fat of your house, they drink of your brook of delights.

⁸ Fartam-se da abundância da tua casa, e na torrente das tuas delícias lhes dás de beber.

⁹ For with you is the fountain of life, in the light that is yours we see light.

⁹ Pois em ti está o manancial da vida; na tua luz, vemos a luz.

¹⁰ O continue your grace to the faithful, your love to the upright in heart.

¹⁰ Continua a tua benignidade aos que te conhecem, e a tua justiça, aos retos de coração.

¹¹ Let no arrogant foot tread upon me, no wicked hand drive me to exile.

¹¹ Não me calque o pé da insolência, nem me repila a mão dos ímpios.

¹² There the workers of wrong lie prostrate, thrust down to rise up no more.
