Zacarias 10

1 Ask rain from the LORD in the time of the latter rain. The LORD shall make storm clouds, and He gives them showers of rain, grass to everyone in the field.
1 Peçam ao Senhor chuva no tempo das últimas chuvas; peçam ao que faz as nuvens de chuva, e ele lhes dará chuva abundante e a cada um, a vegetação no campo.
2 For the family idols speak iniquity, and the diviners have seen a lie and have told false dreams. They comfort in vain; therefore they wandered like a flock; they were troubled because there was no shepherd.
2 Porque os ídolos do lar falam coisas vãs e os adivinhos veem mentiras e contam sonhos enganadores; oferecem consolações vazias. Por isso, o povo anda como ovelhas, aflito por não ter pastor.
3 My anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the he-goats; for the LORD of hosts has visited His flock the house of Judah, and has made them as His beautiful horse in battle.
3 “É contra os pastores que se acendeu a minha ira; castigarei os bodes que vão adiante do rebanho. Mas o do seu rebanho, a casa de Judá, e fará dela o seu majestoso cavalo na batalha.
4 Out of Him came the cornerstone; out of Him the nail; out of Him the battle bow; out of Him every oppressor together.
4 De Judá sairá a pedra angular; dele, a estaca da tenda; dele, o arco de guerra; dele sairão todos os chefes juntos.
5 And they shall be like mighty ones who trample the mud of the streets in the battle. And they shall fight because the LORD is with them, and they shall make the riders on horses ashamed.
5 E serão como valentes que, na batalha, pisam aos pés os seus inimigos na lama das ruas. Lutarão, porque o está com eles, e envergonharão os que andam montados em cavalos.”
6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will return to save them; for I have pity on them. And they shall be as though I had not cast them off; for I am the LORD their God, and I will answer them.
6 “Fortalecerei a casa de Judá e salvarei a casa de José. Eu os farei voltar, porque me compadeço deles; e serão como se eu não os tivesse rejeitado, porque eu sou o seu Deus, e os ouvirei.
7 And Ephraim shall be like a mighty one, and their heart shall rejoice as by wine. And their sons shall see and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.
7 Os de Efraim serão como um valente, e o seu coração se alegrará como se tivessem bebido vinho; os seus filhos verão isso e se alegrarão; o seu coração exultará no
8 I will hiss for them and gather them; for I have redeemed them. And they shall be many as they were many.
8 Eu lhes assobiarei e os reunirei, porque já os remi; eles se multiplicarão como antes tinham se multiplicado.
9 And I will sow them among the peoples, and they shall remember Me in the distances; and they shall live with their sons and return.
9 Embora eu os tenha espalhado entre os povos, eles se lembram de mim em lugares distantes; continuarão vivos com os seus filhos e voltarão.
10 I will return them out of the land of Egypt, and I will gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; for room shall not be found for them.
10 Porque eu os farei voltar da terra do Egito e os congregarei da Assíria. Eu os trarei à terra de Gileade e ao Líbano, e não haverá lugar para todos.
11 And he shall pass through the sea of distress, and shall strike the waves in the sea; and all the depths of the Nile shall dry up. And the pride of Assyria shall be humbled, and the scepter of Egypt shall move away.
11 Passarão pelo mar de angústia, serão feridas as ondas do mar, e todas as profundezas do Nilo se secarão. Então será derrubado o orgulho da Assíria, e o cetro do Egito será removido.
12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in His name, says the LORD.
12 Eu os fortalecerei no Senhor , e eles andarão no meu nome”, diz o
