1 A Psalm of Asaph. God stands in the congregation of God; in the midst of the gods He judges.
1 Deus está na congregação dos poderosos; julga no meio dos deuses.
2 How long will you judge unjustly and lift up the faces of the wicked? Selah.
2 Até quando julgareis injustamente e respeitareis a aparência da pessoa dos ímpios? (Selá)
3 Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy.
3 Defendei o pobre e o órfão; fazei justiça ao aflito e necessitado.
4 Deliver the poor and needy; save them out of the hand of the wicked.
4 Livrai o pobre e o necessitado; tirai-os das mãos dos ímpios.
5 They neither know nor will understand; they walk on in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
5 Eles nada sabem, nem entendem; andam em trevas; todos os fundamentos da terra vacilam.
6 I have said, You are gods; and all of you sons of the Most High.
6 Eu disse: Vós sois deuses, e vós outros sois todos filhos do Altíssimo.
7 But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
7 Todavia, como homens morrereis e caireis como qualquer dos príncipes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for You shall inherit in all nations.
8 Levanta-te, ó Deus, julga a terra, pois te pertencem todas as nações!
