Zacarias 12

1 The burden of the word of Jehovah for Israel, says Jehovah, who stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man in his midst.
1 Esta é a palavra do Senhor para Israel. Palavra do Senhor, que estende os céus, assenta o alicerce da terra e forma o espírito do homem dentro dele:
2 Behold! I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the peoples all around, and it shall also be against Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.
2 "Farei de Jerusalém uma taça que embriague todos os povos ao seu redor, que estarão no cerco contra Judá e Jerusalém.
3 And in that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it shall be slashed. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.
3 Naquele dia, quando todas as nações da terra estiverem reunidas para atacá-la, farei de Jerusalém uma pedra pesada para todas as nações. Todos que tentarem levantá-la se machucarão muito.
4 In that day I will strike every horse with panic and his rider with madness, says Jehovah. And I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and I will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
4 Naquele dia deixarei todos os cavalos em pânico e os seus cavaleiros loucos", diz o Senhor. "Protegerei o povo de Judá, mas cegarei todos os cavalos das nações.
5 And the leaders of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in Jehovah of hosts, their God.
5 Então os líderes de Judá pensarão: ‘Os habitantes de Jerusalém são fortes porque o Senhor dos Exércitos é o seu Deus! ’
6 In that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among cut grain. And they shall devour all the peoples all around, on the right hand and on the left hand. And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her place, in Jerusalem.
6 "Naquele dia farei que os líderes de Judá sejam semelhantes a um braseiro no meio de um monte de lenha, como uma tocha incandescente entre gravetos. Eles consumirão à direita e à esquerda todos os povos ao redor, mas Jerusalém permanecerá intacta em seu lugar.
7 Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not be magnified above Judah.
7 "O Senhor salvará primeiro as tendas de Judá, para que a honra da família de Davi e dos habitantes de Jerusalém não seja superior à de Judá.
8 In that day Jehovah shall protect around the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And it will be, he who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of Jehovah before them.
8 Naquele dia o Senhor protegerá os que vivem em Jerusalém, de forma que o mais fraco dentre eles será como Davi, e a família de Davi será como Deus, como o anjo do Senhor que vai adiante deles.
9 And it shall be in that day, I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
9 "Naquele dia procurarei destruir todas as nações que atacarem Jerusalém.
10 And I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son , and they shall be bitter over Him, like the bitterness over the first-born.
10 E derramarei sobre a família de Davi e sobre os habitantes de Jerusalém um espírito de ação de graças e de súplicas. Olharão para mim, aquele a quem traspassaram, e chorarão por ele como quem chora a perda de um filho único, e lamentarão amargamente por ele como quem lamenta a perda do filho mais velho.
11 In that day the mourning in Jerusalem shall be great, like the mourning of Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddo.
11 Naquele dia muitos chorarão em Jerusalém, como os que choraram em Hadade-Rimon no vale de Megido.
12 And the land shall mourn, each family apart: the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
12 Todo o país chorará, separadamente cada família com suas mulheres chorará: a família de Davi com suas mulheres; a família de Natã com suas mulheres;
13 the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
13 a família de Levi com suas mulheres; a família de Simei com suas mulheres,
14 all the families who remain, each family apart, and their wives apart.
14 e todas as demais famílias com suas mulheres.
