1 To the chief musician, for flutes. A Psalm of David Give ear to my words, O Jehovah; consider my meditation.
1 Dá ouvidos às minhas palavras, ó Senhor ; atende à minha meditação.
2 Attend to the voice of my cry, my King and my God; for I will pray to You.
2 Atende à voz do meu clamor, Rei meu e Deus meu, pois a ti orarei.
3 You will hear my voice in the morning, O Jehovah, I will set myself for You in the morning, and I will look up.
3 Pela manhã, ouvirás a minha voz, ó Senhor ; pela manhã, me apresentarei a ti, e vigiarei.
4 For You are not a God enjoying wickedness; nor shall evil live with You.
4 Porque tu não és um Deus que tenha prazer na iniquidade, nem contigo habitará o mal.
5 The boasters shall not set themselves before Your eyes. You hate all workers of iniquity.
5 Os loucos não pararão à tua vista; aborreces a todos os que praticam a maldade.
6 You shall destroy those speaking lies; Jehovah will despise the man of blood and deceit.
6 Destruirás aqueles que proferem a mentira; o Senhor aborrecerá o homem sanguinário e fraudulento.
7 But I, in the plenty of Your grace, I will come into Your house. I will worship in Your fear toward Your holy temple, O Jehovah.
7 Mas eu entrarei em tua casa pela grandeza da tua benignidade; e em teu temor me inclinarei para o teu santo templo.
8 Lead me in Your righteousness, because of my enemies; make straight Your way before me.
8 Senhor , guia-me na tua justiça, por causa dos meus inimigos; aplana diante de mim o teu caminho.
9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is engulfing ruin; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue.
9 Porque não há retidão na boca deles; o seu íntimo são verdadeiras maldades; a sua garganta é um sepulcro aberto; lisonjeiam com a sua língua.
10 O God, hold them guilty; let them fall from their own counsels. Drive them away in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.
10 Declara-os culpados, ó Deus; caiam por seus próprios conselhos; lança-os fora por causa da multidão de suas transgressões, pois se revoltaram contra ti.
11 But let all who put their trust in You rejoice; let them shout for joy forever, because You cover them. And let those who love Your name be joyful in You.
11 Mas alegrem-se todos os que confiam em ti; exultem eternamente, porquanto tu os defendes; e em ti se gloriem os que amam o teu nome.
12 For You, O Jehovah, will bless the righteous; You will surround him with favor, as with a shield.
12 Pois tu, Senhor , abençoarás ao justo; circundá-lo-ás da tua benevolência como de um escudo.
