1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Blessed is he who acts wisely toward the poor; Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.
1 Felizes são aqueles que ajudam os pobres, pois o quando estiverem em dificuldades!
2 Jehovah will watch over him and keep him alive; he shall be blessed on the earth, and You will not deliver him to the soul of his enemies.
2 O Senhor os protegerá, guardará a vida deles e lhes dará felicidade na Ele não os abandonará nas garras dos inimigos.
3 Jehovah will uphold him on the couch of sickness; You change all his bed in his sickness.
3 Quando estiverem doentes, de cama, o e lhes dará saúde novamente.
4 I said, O Jehovah be gracious to me; heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.
4 Eu disse: “Ó Tem compaixão de mim e cura-me.”
5 My enemies speak evil of me, saying , When will he die and his name perish.
5 Os meus inimigos falam mal de mim e perguntam: “Quando será que ele vai morrer e ser esquecido?”
6 And when he comes to see me he speaks vanity; his heart gathers iniquity to itself; he goes outside and speaks.
6 Se algum deles vem me visitar, não fala com sinceridade e ainda junta más notícias a meu respeito, para sair espalhando por aí afora.
7 All my haters whisper together against me; they plot evil against me,
7 Todos os que me odeiam falam de mim, cochichando, e pensam que o pior vai me acontecer.
8 saying , A thing of ruin is poured out on him; and, He who lies down shall not rise again.
8 Eles dizem assim: “Ele está muito mal mesmo e não vai se levantar mais.”
9 Even a man desiring my welfare, I trusted in him, eating of my bread; this one has lifted up his heel against me.
9 Até o meu melhor amigo, em quem eu tanto confiava, aquele que tomava refeições comigo, até ele se virou contra mim.
10 But You, O Jehovah, be gracious to me and raise me up, and I will repay them.
10 Ó Senhor Deus, tem compaixão de mim e me dá saúde novamente para que eu dê aos meus inimigos o que merecem!
11 By this I know that You delight in me, because my enemy does not exult over me.
11 Eles não me vencerão, e assim ficarei sabendo que tu me aprovas.
12 And I, in my integrity You uphold me, and You set your face before me forever.
12 Tu me ajudarás, porque faço o que é direito e me deixarás ficar para sempre na tua presença.
13 Blessed be Jehovah God of Israel, even from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen!
13 Louvado seja o Senhor , o Deus de Israel! Louvado seja, agora e sempre!
