¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. May Jehovah answer you in the day of distress; the name of the God of Jacob set you on high.

¹ Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo de Davi. O SENHOR te ouça no dia da dificuldade; o nome do Deus de Jacó te defenda.

² He sends your help from the sanctuary, and upholds you out of Zion.

² Envie-te socorro do santuário, e te fortaleça desde Sião.

³ He will remember all your offerings, and make fat your burnt sacrifices. Selah.

³ Lembre-se de todas as tuas ofertas e aceite tua oferta queimada. Selá.

⁴ He will give you according to your heart, and fulfill all your plans.

⁴ Conceda-te de acordo com o teu próprio coração, e cumpra todo o teu conselho.

⁵ We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God set up banners; may Jehovah fulfill all your prayers.

⁵ Nós nos regozijaremos na tua salvação, e no nome de nosso Deus fincaremos nossas bandeiras; que o SENHOR cumpra todas as tuas petições.

⁶ Now I know that Jehovah saves His anointed; He answers him from His holy Heaven with the saving strengths of His right hand.

⁷ These trust in chariots, and these in horses but we will make mention in the name of Jehovah our God.

⁸ They have bowed down and have fallen, but we have risen and stand upright.
