1 To you, O Yahweh, I call. O my rock, do not be deaf to me. Or else, if you are silent to me, then I will become like those descending to the pit.
1 A ti clamo, ó Senhor; rocha minha, não emudeças para comigo; não suceda que, calando-te a meu respeito, eu me torne semelhante aos que descem à cova.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your holy inner sanctuary.
2 Ouve a voz das minhas súplicas, quando a ti clamo, quando levanto as minhas mãos para o teu santo templo.
3 Do not drag me away with the wicked or with the workers of evil, who speak of peace with their neighbors, while evil is in their heart.
3 Não me arrastes juntamente com os ímpios e com os que praticam a iniqüidade, que falam de paz ao seu próximo, mas têm o mal no seu coração.
4 Give to them according to their work, even according to the evil of their deeds. Give to them according to the work of their hands; repay them their rightful due.
4 Retribui-lhes segundo as suas obras e segundo a malícia dos seus feitos; dá-lhes conforme o que fizeram as suas mãos; retribui-lhes o que eles merecem.
5 Because they do not regard the works of Yahweh, nor the work of his hands, he will destroy them and not rebuild them.
5 Porquanto eles não atentam para as obras do Senhor, nem para o que as suas mãos têm feito, ele os derrubará e não os reedificará
6 Blessed is Yahweh, because he has heard the voice of my supplications.
6 Bendito seja o Senhor, porque ouviu a voz das minhas súplicas.
7 Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts him and I am helped. So my heart rejoices, and with my song I will give thanks to him.
7 O Senhor é a minha força e o meu escudo; nele confiou o meu coração, e fui socorrido; pelo que o meu coração salta de prazer, e com o meu cântico o louvarei.
8 Yahweh is their strength, and he is the refuge for the salvation of his anointed one.
8 O Senhor é a força do seu povo; ele é a fortaleza salvadora para o seu ungido.
9 Save your people and bless your heritage. Shepherd them also and carry them always.
9 Salva o teu povo, e abençoa a tua herança; apascenta-os e exalta-os para sempre.
