1 Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh; he takes great delight in his commands.
1 Louvai ao SENHOR. Abençoado é o homem que teme ao SENHOR, que se deleita grandemente em seus mandamentos.
2 His ⌞descendants⌟ will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
2 Sua semente será poderosa sobre a terra; a geração dos retos será abençoada.
3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.
3 Fartura e riquezas estarão em sua casa, e sua justiça dura para sempre.
4 His light rises in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious and compassionate and righteous.
4 Sobre o reto levanta-se a luz nas trevas; ele é gracioso, e cheio de compaixão e justo.
5 It goes well for a man who is gracious and lends, who conducts his ⌞business properly⌟.
5 Um bom homem mostra favor e empresta; ele guiará seus negócios com discrição.
6 For he will not be shaken forever; the righteous ⌞will be remembered forever⌟.
6 Certamente ele não será abalado para sempre; o justo estará em eterna lembrança.
7 He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is steadfast, secure in Yahweh.
7 Ele não terá medo das más notícias; seu coração é firme, confiando no SENHOR.
8 His heart is sustained; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his enemies.
8 Seu coração está estabelecido, ele não terá medo, até que ele veja o seu desejo sobre os seus inimigos.
9 ⌞He gives lavishly⌟ to the needy; his righteousness endures forever. His horn rises high in honor.
9 Ele dispersou, ele deu aos pobres; sua justiça dura para sempre; seu chifre será exaltado com honra.
10 The wicked sees it and is vexed. He gnashes his teeth and ⌞becomes weak⌟. The desire of the wicked perishes.
10 O perverso o verá, e se entristecerá; ele rangerá os seus dentes e derreterá; o desejo do perverso perecerá.
