1 A declaration of Yahweh to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.”
1 Disse o SENHOR ao meu Senhor: Assenta-te à minha mão direita, até que ponha os teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés.
2 Yahweh will send out your mighty scepter from Zion; rule in the midst of your enemies.
2 O Senhor enviará o cetro da tua fortaleza desde Sião, dizendo: Domina no meio dos teus inimigos.
3 Your people ⌞will volunteer⌟ in the day of your power. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, you will have the dew of your youth.
3 O teu povo será mui voluntário no dia do teu poder; nos ornamentos de santidade, desde a madre da alva, tu tens o orvalho da tua mocidade.
4 Yahweh has sworn and he will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever according to the manner of Melchizedek.”
4 Jurou o Senhor, e não se arrependerá: tu és um sacerdote eterno, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.
5 O Lord, at your right hand he will shatter kings in the day of his anger.
5 O Senhor, à tua direita, ferirá os reis no dia da sua ira.
6 He will judge among the nations; he will fill them with corpses. He will shatter the ⌞rulers⌟ of many countries.
6 Julgará entre os gentios; tudo encherá de corpos mortos; ferirá os cabeças de muitos países.
7 He will drink from the stream by the road; therefore he will lift up his head.
7 Beberá do ribeiro no caminho, por isso exaltará a cabeça.
