1 “Ho! Everyone thirsty, come to the waters! And whoever has no money, come, buy and eat, and come, buy without money, wine and milk without price!
1 Ó, todo o que está sedento, vinde às águas, e o que não tem dinheiro; vinde vós, comprai e comei; sim, vinde, comprai vinho e leite sem dinheiro e sem preço.
2 Why do you weigh out money for what is not food, and your labor for ⌞what cannot satisfy⌟? Listen carefully to me, and eat what is good, and let your soul take pleasure in ⌞rich⌟ food.
2 Por que razão gastais dinheiro naquilo que não é pão? E seu trabalho naquilo que não satisfaz? Escutai-me diligentemente e comei aquilo que é bom e permiti que as vossas almas deleitem-se com a gordura.
3 Extend your ear, and come to me! Listen so that your soul may live, and I will ⌞make⌟ an everlasting covenant with you, the enduring proofs of ⌞the mercies shown to⌟ David.
3 Inclinai vossos ouvidos e vinde a mim. Ouvi, e vossa alma viverá, e eu farei um pacto eterno convosco, as infalíveis misericórdias de Davi.
4 Look! I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and a commander for the peoples.
4 Eis que eu o tenho dado por uma testemunha para os povos, um líder e comandante para os povos.
5 Look! You shall call a nation that you do not know, and a nation that does not know you shall run to you, because of Yahweh your God, and the holy one of Israel, for he has glorified you.”
5 Eis que tu chamarás uma nação que tu não conheces, e nações que não te conhecem a ti correrão, por causa do SENHOR teu Deus e pelo Santo de Israel, porque ele tem te glorificado.
6 Seek Yahweh ⌞while he lets himself be found⌟; call him ⌞while he is⌟ near.
6 Buscai vós ao SENHOR enquanto ele pode ser encontrado; invocai-o enquanto ele está próximo.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the man of sin his thoughts. And let him return to Yahweh, that he may take pity on him, and to our God, for he will ⌞forgive manifold⌟.
7 Deixe que o perverso abandone seu caminho, e o homem injusto seus pensamentos, e permita-o retornar para o SENHOR, e ele terá misericórdia dele. E para nosso Deus, porque ele abundantemente perdoará.
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
8 Porque os meus pensamentos não são os vossos pensamentos, nem são os vossos caminhos os meus caminhos, diz o SENHOR.
9 “For as the heavens are ⌞higher⌟ than the earth, so my ways are ⌞higher⌟ than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
9 Porque, como os céus são mais altos do que a terra, deste modo são os meus caminhos mais altos do que os vossos caminhos e os meus pensamentos do que os vossos pensamentos.
10 For just as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and they do not return there except they have watered the earth thoroughly and cause it to bring forth and sprout, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
10 Porque, como cai a chuva e a neve desde o céu, e não retornam naquela direção, porém molha a terra e a faz produzir e brotar, para que possa dar semente para o semeador e pão para o que come,
11 so shall be my word that goes out from my mouth. It shall not return to me without success, but shall accomplish what I desire and be successful in the thing for which I sent it.
11 assim será minha palavra, que sai da minha boca. Ela não retornará para mim vazia, porém, ela fará acontecer aquilo que eu desejo, e ela prosperará na coisa para a qual eu a enviei.
12 For you shall go out in joy, and you shall be led in peace. The mountains and the hills shall break forth before you, rejoicing and all the trees of the field shall clap hands.
12 Porque vós saireis com alegria e sereis conduzidos com paz. Os montes e as colinas irromperão diante de ti em canto, e todas árvores do campo baterão palmas.
13 Instead of the thorn bush, the juniper shall go up; instead of the brier, the myrtle shall go up, and it shall serve as a memorial to Yahweh, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
13 No lugar do espinheiro brotará o pinheiro, e no lugar da sarça brotará a murta. E isto será para o SENHOR por como um memorial, e por um eterno sinal que nunca deixará de existir.
