1 In parts according to verses. A Psalm of David.
1 Ao Músico-chefe de Neginote, Salmo de Davi. Ouve-me quando eu chamar, ó Deus da minha justiça; tu me ampliaste quando eu estava aflito; tem misericórdia de mim e ouve a minha oração.
2 When I called upon him, the God of my justice heeded me. In tribulation, you have enlarged me. Have mercy on me, and heed my prayer.
2 Ó vós, filhos dos homens, por quanto tempo tornareis minha glória em vergonha? Por quanto tempo amareis a vaidade e buscareis a mentira? Selá.
3 Sons of men, how long will you be dull in heart, so that whatever you love is in vain, and whatever you seek is false? Pause
3 Mas sabei que o SENHOR separou aquele que é piedoso para si; o SENHOR ouvirá quando eu o chamar.
4 And know this: the Lord has made wondrous his holy one. The Lord will heed me when I cry out to him.
4 Permanecei no temor e não pequeis; conversai com o vosso próprio coração sobre a vossa cama, e ficai quietos. Selá.
5 Be angry, and do not be willing to sin. The things that you say in your hearts: be sorry for them on your beds. Pause
5 Oferecei sacrifícios de justiça, e ponde vossa confiança no SENHOR.
6 Offer the sacrifice of justice, and hope in the Lord. Many say, “Who reveals to us what is good?”
6 Há muitos que dizem: Quem nos mostrará algum bem? SENHOR, levanta a luz do teu semblante sobre nós.
7 The light of your countenance, Lord, has been sealed upon us. You have given joy to my heart.
7 Puseste alegria no meu coração, mais do que no tempo em que se lhes multiplicaram o trigo e o vinho.
8 By the fruit of their grain, wine, and oil, they have been multiplied.
8 Eu tanto me deitarei em paz quanto dormirei; porque tu, SENHOR, somente me fazes habitar em segurança.
9 In peace itself, I will sleep and I will rest.

10 For you, O Lord, have established me singularly in hope.
