Isaías 62

1 For the sake of Zion, I will not be silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem, I will not rest, until her Just One advances in splendor, and her Savior is kindled like a lamp.
1 Por amor de Sião, me não calarei e, por amor de Jerusalém, não me aquietarei, até que saia a sua justiça como um resplendor, e a sua salvação, como uma tocha acesa.
2 And the Gentiles will see your Just One, and all the kings will see your Renowned One. And you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord will choose.
2 As nações verão a tua justiça, e todos os reis, a tua glória; e serás chamada por um nome novo, que a boca do Senhor designará.
3 And you shall be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
3 Serás uma coroa de glória na mão do Senhor , um diadema real na mão do teu Deus.
4 You will no longer be called Forsaken. And your land will no longer be called Desolate. Instead, you shall be called My Will within it, and your land shall be called Inhabited. For the Lord has been well pleased with you, and your land will be inhabited.
4 Nunca mais te chamarão Desamparada, nem a tua terra se denominará jamais Desolada; mas chamar-te-ão Minha-Delícia; e à tua terra, Desposada; porque o Senhor se delicia em ti; e a tua terra se desposará.
5 For the young man will live with the virgin, and your children will live with you. And the groom will rejoice over the bride, and your God will rejoice over you.
5 Porque, como o jovem desposa a donzela, assim teus filhos te desposarão a ti; como o noivo se alegra da noiva, assim de ti se alegrará o teu Deus.
6 Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, I have stationed watchmen all day and all night unceasingly; they will not be silent. You who are mindful of the Lord, you should not be silent,
6 Sobre os teus muros, ó Jerusalém, pus guardas, que todo o dia e toda a noite jamais se calarão; vós, os que fareis lembrado o Senhor , não descanseis,
7 and you should not grant silence to him, until he makes firm and establishes Jerusalem as a praise upon the earth.
7 nem deis a ele descanso até que restabeleça Jerusalém e a ponha por objeto de louvor na terra.
8 The Lord has sworn with his right hand and with the arm of his strength: “Certainly, I will no longer permit your grain to be the food of your enemies. And the sons of foreigners will not drink your wine, for which you have labored.”
8 Jurou o Senhor pela sua mão direita e pelo seu braço poderoso: Nunca mais darei o teu cereal por sustento aos teus inimigos, nem os estrangeiros beberão o teu vinho, fruto de tuas fadigas.
9 For those who gather it will eat it, and they will praise the Lord. And those who bring it together will drink it in my holy courts.
9 Mas os que o ajuntarem o comerão e louvarão ao Senhor ; e os que o recolherem beberão nos átrios do meu santuário.
10 Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare a way for the people! Make the road level, remove the stones, and lift up a sign for the people!
10 Passai, passai pelas portas; preparai o caminho ao povo; aterrai, aterrai a estrada, limpai-a das pedras; arvorai bandeira aos povos.
11 Behold, the Lord has caused it to be heard to the ends of the earth. Tell the daughter of Zion: “Behold, your Savior approaches! Behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.”
11 Eis que o Senhor fez ouvir até às extremidades da terra estas palavras: Dizei à filha de Sião: Eis que vem o teu Salvador; vem com ele a sua recompensa, e diante dele, o seu galardão.
12 And they will call them: The holy people, the redeemed of the Lord. Then you will be called: A city sought, and not forsaken.
12 Chamar-vos-ão Povo Santo, Remidos-Do- Senhor ; e tu, Sião, serás chamada Procurada, Cidade-Não-Deserta.
