AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God.
1 Kwa etei a aiwob kwanakakafiyih, anayabin roubabaruwen ana fair etei i Godane na orot bai. Naatu iti aiwob ana fair etei i God taiyuwin imatar.
2 Consequently, whoever resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
2 Isan imih o yait aiwob orot kukwakwahir, o i God abisa bimatar kukwakwahir. Naatu sabuw iyab nati na’atube tisisinaf i taiyuwih babah teo’o.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the one in authority? Then do what is right, and you will have his approval.
3 Anayabin sabuw iyab gewasin tisisinaf bonawiyenayah isah boro men hinabir, baise kakafih sinafuyah boro hinabir.
4 For he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not carry the sword in vain. He is God’s servant, an agent of retribution to the wrongdoer.
4 Anayabin orot ukwarih i God ana’akir wairafih, kwa ama gewas isan tebowabow. Baise kakafin kwanasisinaf na’at i kwanabir, anayabin orot ukwarin sabuw baimakiyih isan ana fair God bitin i ema’am boro baimakiy nitih.
5 Therefore it is necessary to submit to authority, not only to avoid punishment, but also as a matter of conscience.
5 Isan imih, a orot ukwarih i kwanakakafiyih, anayabin nati kwasisinaf ebi’obaiyi i sawar gewasin, men baimakiy akisin isan kwanabir kwanakakafamih.
6 This is also why you pay taxes. For the authorities are God’s servants, who devote themselves to their work.
6 Ana’an nati isan kwa kabay kwaya’aya, anayabin God ana bai’akirayah i faimar iti sawar isah tebowabow.
7 Pay everyone what you owe him: taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.
7 Orot babin hai bit abisa biya ema’am kwanitih abit kwanikisisir, kabay ana bit kabay kwanayai, tura ana sawar biyamaim ana bit kua’abar wan inay maiye, isa tekakaf ibo isah inakakaf, tirurusagiyi ibo inarusagiyih.
8 Be indebted to no one, except to one another in love. For he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
8 A bit sabuw biyahimaim tema’am etei kwanibaiyan nasawar, men kwanihamiyen hinama’amih. Bit ta’imon biyamaim nama’am i yabow akisin, taituwa bairi kwaniyabowbonen kwanama, anayabin orot yait taituwan ebiyabow i ofafar eo na’atube sinaf yabin emamatar.
9 The commandments “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and any other commandments, are summed up in this one decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
9 Ofafar i iti, “Turanah a’aawah men ufuh inan, sabuw men ina’asbunubuw, men inabain, men inabahiy, naatu ofafar afa iti na’atube etei i iti ofafar suma’ay, taituwa iniyabuwih o taiyuw kubiyabuw na’atube.
10 Love does no wrong to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
10 Yabow taintuwan men ebiyababan. Isan imih yabow i abisa ofafar eo na’atube i sinaf yabih temamatar.
11 And do this, understanding the occasion. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
11 Naatu sinaf iti kwanasinaf, abisa iti boun ana veya temamatar i kwanaso’ob. In ana veya i sawar, anayabin it yawas bain isan ana veya i na kabom, men marasika tabitumatum na’atube.
12 The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
12 Gugumin i kafa’imo nasawar, mar i boro’omo natoririb. Isan imih gugumin ana bowabow i tanihamiyen, naatu tanamisir marakawamaim ma isan taniyow.
13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.
13 Bowabow gewasin mar ana efamaim tanasinaf, men aatom, gamin, harew tom baikoko’aw, baiwa’an kwanekwan, baiyow, naatu baibobowen.
14 Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.
14 Baise Jesu Keriso kwanab a faifuwamih kwaniyoun, saise boro men biya ana kok susuwin isan ana ef kwananuwetamih.
