1 ยีศุเรตานฺ ปฺรสฺตาวานฺ สมาปฺย ศิษฺยานูเจ,

2 ยุษฺมาภิ รฺชฺญาตํ ทินทฺวยาตฺ ปรํ นิสฺตารมห อุปสฺถาสฺยติ, ตตฺร มนุชสุต: กฺรุเศน หนฺตุํ ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปิษฺยเตฯ
2 Ye know that after two days the passover takes place, and the Son of man is delivered up to be crucified.
3 ตต: ปรํ ปฺรธานยาชกาธฺยาปกปฺราญฺจ: กิยผานามฺโน มหายาชกสฺยาฏฺฏาลิกายำ มิลิตฺวา
3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together to the palace of the high priest who was called Caiaphas,
4 เกโนปาเยน ยีศุํ ธฺฤตฺวา หนฺตุํ ศกฺนุยุริติ มนฺตฺรยาญฺจกฺรุ:ฯ
4 and took counsel together in order that they might seize Jesus by subtlety and kill him;
5 กินฺตุ ไตรุกฺตํ มหกาเล น ธรฺตฺตวฺย:, ธฺฤเต ปฺรชานำ กลเหน ภวิตุํ ศกฺยเตฯ
5 but they said, Not in the feast, that there be not a tumult among the people.
6 ตโต ไพถนิยาปุเร ศิโมนาขฺยสฺย กุษฺฐิโน เวศฺมนิ ยีเศา ติษฺฐติ

7 กาจน โยษา เศฺวโตปลภาชเนน มหารฺฆฺยํ สุคนฺธิ ไตลมานีย โภชนาโยปวิศตสฺตสฺย ศิโรภฺยเษจตฺฯ
7 a woman, having an alabaster flask of very precious ointment, came to him and poured it out upon his head as he lay at table.
8 กินฺตุ ตทาโลกฺย ตจฺฉิไษฺย: กุปิไตรุกฺตํ, กุต อิตฺถมปวฺยยเต?
8 But the disciples seeing it became indignant, saying, To what end {was} this waste?
9 เจทิทํ วฺยเกฺรษฺยต, ตรฺหิ ภูริมูลฺยํ ปฺราปฺย ทริเทฺรโภฺย วฺยตาริษฺยตฯ
9 for this might have been sold for much and been given to the poor.
10 ยีศุนา ตทวคตฺย เต สมุทิตา:, โยษาเมนำ กุโต ทุ:ขินีํ กุรุถ, สา มำ ปฺรติ สาธุ กรฺมฺมาการฺษีตฺฯ
10 But Jesus knowing {it} said to them, Why do ye trouble the woman? for she has wrought a good work toward me.
11 ยุษฺมากมํ สมีเป ทริทฺรา: สตตเมวาสเต, กินฺตุ ยุษฺมากมนฺติเกหํ นาเส สตตํฯ
11 For ye have the poor always with you, but me ye have not always.
12 สา มม กาโยปริ สุคนฺธิไตลํ สิกฺตฺวา มม ศฺมศานทานกรฺมฺมาการฺษีตฺฯ
12 For in pouring out this ointment on my body, she has done it for my burying.
13 อโตหํ ยุษฺมานฺ ตถฺยํ วทามิ สรฺวฺวสฺมินฺ ชคติ ยตฺร ยไตฺรษ สุสมาจาร: ปฺรจาริษฺยเต, ตตฺร ตไตฺรตสฺยา นารฺยฺยา: สฺมรณารฺถมฺ กรฺมฺเมทํ ปฺรจาริษฺยเตฯ
13 Verily I say to you, Wheresoever these glad tidings may be preached in the whole world, that also which this {woman} has done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
14 ตโต ทฺวาทศศิษฺยาณามฺ อีษฺกริโยตียยิหูทานามก เอก: ศิษฺย: ปฺรธานยาชกานามนฺติกํ คตฺวา กถิตวานฺ,

15 ยทิ ยุษฺมากํ กเรษุ ยีศุํ สมรฺปยามิ, ตรฺหิ กึ ทาสฺยถ? ตทานีํ เต ตไสฺม ตฺรึศนฺมุทฺรา ทาตุํ สฺถิรีกฺฤตวนฺต:ฯ
15 and said, What are ye willing to give me, and *I* will deliver him up to you? And they appointed to him thirty pieces of silver.
16 ส ตทารภฺย ตํ ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปยิตุํ สุโยคํ เจษฺฏิตวานฺฯ
16 And from that time he sought a good opportunity that he might deliver him up.
17 อนนฺตรํ กิณฺวศูนฺยปูปปรฺวฺวณ: ปฺรถเมหฺนิ ศิษฺยา ยีศุมฺ อุปคตฺย ปปฺรจฺฉุ: ภวตฺกฺฤเต กุตฺร วยํ นิสฺตารมหโภชฺยมฺ อาโยชยิษฺยาม:? ภวต: เกจฺฉา?

18 ตทา ส คทิตวานฺ, มเธฺยนครมมุกปุํส: สมีปํ วฺรชิตฺวา วทต, คุรุ รฺคทิตวานฺ, มตฺกาล: สวิธ:, สห ศิไษฺยสฺตฺวทาลเย นิสฺตารมหโภชฺยํ โภกฺเษฺยฯ
18 And he said, Go into the city unto such a one, and say to him, The Teacher says, My time is near, I will keep the passover in thy house with my disciples.
19 ตทา ศิษฺยา ยีโศสฺตาทฺฤศนิเทศานุรูปกรฺมฺม วิธาย ตตฺร นิสฺตารมหโภชฺยมาสาทยามาสุ:ฯ
19 And the disciples did as Jesus had directed them, and they prepared the passover.
20 ตต: สนฺธฺยายำ สตฺยำ ทฺวาทศภิ: ศิไษฺย: สากํ ส นฺยวิศตฺฯ
20 And when the evening was come he lay down at table with the twelve.
21 อปรํ ภุญฺชาน อุกฺตวานฺ ยุษฺมานฺ ตถฺยํ วทามิ, ยุษฺมากเมโก มำ ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปยิษฺยติฯ
21 And as they were eating he said, Verily I say to you, that one of you shall deliver me up.
22 ตทา เต'ตีว ทุ:ขิตา เอไกกโศ วกฺตุมาเรภิเร, เห ปฺรโภ, ส กิมหํ?
22 And being exceedingly grieved they began to say to him, each of them, Is it *I*, Lord?
23 ตต: ส ชคาท, มยา สากํ โย ชโน โภชนปาเตฺร กรํ สํกฺษิปติ, ส เอว มำ ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปยิษฺยติฯ
23 But he answering said, He that dips his hand with me in the dish, *he* it is who shall deliver me up.
24 มนุชสุตมธิ ยาทฺฤศํ ลิขิตมาเสฺต, ตทนุรูปา ตทฺคติ รฺภวิษฺยติ; กินฺตุ เยน ปุํสา ส ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปยิษฺยเต, หา หา เจตฺ ส นาชนิษฺยต, ตทา ตสฺย เกฺษมมภวิษฺยตฺฯ
24 The Son of man goes indeed, according as it is written concerning him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is delivered up; it were good for that man if he had not been born.
25 ตทา ยิหูทานามา โย ชนสฺตํ ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปยิษฺยติ, ส อุกฺตวานฺ, เห คุโร, ส กิมหํ? ตต: ส ปฺรตฺยุกฺตวานฺ, ตฺวยา สตฺยํ คทิตมฺฯ
25 And Judas, who delivered him up, answering said, Is it *I*, Rabbi? He says to him, *Thou* hast said.
26 อนนฺตรํ เตษามศนกาเล ยีศุ: ปูปมาทาเยศฺวรียคุณานนูทฺย ภํกฺตฺวา ศิเษฺยภฺย: ปฺรทาย ชคาท, มทฺวปุ:สฺวรูปมิมํ คฺฤหีตฺวา ขาทตฯ

27 ปศฺจาตฺ ส กํสํ คฺฤหฺลนฺ อีศฺวรียคุณานนูทฺย เตภฺย: ปฺรทาย กถิตวานฺ, สรฺไวฺว รฺยุษฺมาภิรเนน ปาตวฺยํ,
27 And having taken {the} cup and given thanks, he gave {it} to them, saying, Drink ye all of it.
28 ยสฺมาทเนเกษำ ปาปมรฺษณาย ปาติตํ ยนฺมนฺนูตฺนนิยมรูปโศณิตํ ตเทตตฺฯ
28 For this is my blood, that of the {new} covenant, that shed for many for remission of sins.
29 อปรมหํ นูตฺนโคสฺตนีรสํ น ปาสฺยามิ, ตาวตฺ โคสฺตนีผลรสํ ปุน: กทาปิ น ปาสฺยามิฯ
29 But I say to you, that I will not at all drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of my Father.
30 ปศฺจาตฺ เต คีตเมกํ สํคีย ไชตุนาขฺยคิรึ คตวนฺต:ฯ
30 Depois do canto dos Salmos, dirigiram-se eles para o monte das Oliveiras.
31 ตทานีํ ยีศุสฺตานโวจตฺ, อสฺยำ รชนฺยามหํ ยุษฺมากํ สรฺเวฺวษำ วิฆฺนรูโป ภวิษฺยามิ, ยโต ลิขิตมาเสฺต, "เมษาณำ รกฺษโก ยสฺตํ ปฺรหริษฺยามฺยหํ ตต:ฯ เมษาณำ นิวโห นูนํ ปฺรวิกีรฺโณ ภวิษฺยติ"๚
31 Disse-lhes então Jesus: Esta noite serei para todos vós uma ocasião de queda; porque está escrito: Ferirei o pastor, e as ovelhas do rebanho serão dispersadas {Zc 13,7}.
32 กินฺตุ ศฺมศานาตฺ สมุตฺถาย ยุษฺมากมเคฺร'หํ คาลีลํ คมิษฺยามิฯ
32 Mas, depois da minha Ressurreição, eu vos precederei na Galiléia.
33 ปิตรสฺตํ โปฺรวาจ, ภวำศฺเจตฺ สรฺเวฺวษำ วิฆฺนรูโป ภวติ, ตถาปิ มม น ภวิษฺยติฯ
33 Pedro interveio: Mesmo que sejas para todos uma ocasião de queda, para mim jamais o serás.
34 ตโต ยีศุนา ส อุกฺต:, ตุภฺยมหํ ตถฺยํ กถยามิ, ยามินฺยามสฺยำ จรณายุธสฺย รวาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวํ ตฺวํ มำ ตฺริ รฺนางฺคีกริษฺยสิฯ
34 Disse-lhe Jesus: Em verdade te digo: nesta noite mesma, antes que o galo cante, três vezes me negarás.
35 ตต: ปิตร อุทิตวานฺ, ยทฺยปิ ตฺวยา สมํ มรฺตฺตวฺยํ, ตถาปิ กทาปิ ตฺวำ น นางฺคีกริษฺยามิ; ตไถว สรฺเวฺว ศิษฺยาศฺโจจุ:ฯ
35 Respondeu-lhe Pedro: Mesmo que seja necessário morrer contigo, jamais te negarei! E todos os outros discípulos diziam-lhe o mesmo.
36 อนนฺตรํ ยีศุ: ศิไษฺย: สากํ เคตฺศิมานีนามกํ สฺถานํ ปฺรสฺถาย เตภฺย: กถิตวานฺ, อท: สฺถานํ คตฺวา ยาวทหํ ปฺรารฺถยิเษฺย ตาวทฺ ยูยมโตฺรปวิศตฯ
36 Retirou-se Jesus com eles para um lugar chamado Getsêmani e disse-lhes: Assentai-vos aqui, enquanto eu vou ali orar.
37 ปศฺจาตฺ ส ปิตรํ สิวทิยสุเตา จ สงฺคิน: กฺฤตฺวา คตวานฺ, โศกากุโล'ตีว วฺยถิตศฺจ พภูวฯ
37 E, tomando consigo Pedro e os dois filhos de Zebedeu, começou a entristecer-se e a angustiar-se.
38 ตานวาทีจฺจ มฺฤติยาตเนว มตฺปฺราณานำ ยาตนา ชายเต, ยูยมตฺร มยา สารฺทฺธํ ชาคฺฤตฯ
38 Disse-lhes, então: Minha alma está triste até a morte. Ficai aqui e vigiai comigo.
39 ตต: ส กิญฺจิทฺทูรํ คตฺวาโธมุข: ปตนฺ ปฺรารฺถยาญฺจเกฺร, เห มตฺปิตรฺยทิ ภวิตุํ ศกฺโนติ, ตรฺหิ กํโส'ยํ มตฺโต ทูรํ ยาตุ; กินฺตุ มทิจฺฉาวตฺ น ภวตุ, ตฺวทิจฺฉาวทฺ ภวตุฯ
39 Adiantou-se um pouco e, prostrando-se com a face por terra, assim rezou: Meu Pai, se é possível, afasta de mim este cálice! Todavia não se faça o que eu quero, mas sim o que tu queres.
40 ตต: ส ศิษฺยานุเปตฺย ตานฺ นิทฺรโต นิรีกฺษฺย ปิตราย กถยามาส, ยูยํ มยา สากํ ทณฺฑเมกมปิ ชาคริตุํ นาศนฺกุต?
40 Foi ter então com os discípulos e os encontrou dormindo. E disse a Pedro: Então não pudestes vigiar uma hora comigo...
41 ปรีกฺษายำ น ปติตุํ ชาคฺฤต ปฺรารฺถยธฺวญฺจ; อาตฺมา สมุทฺยโตสฺติ, กินฺตุ วปุ รฺทุรฺพฺพลํฯ
41 Vigiai e orai para que não entreis em tentação. O espírito está pronto, mas a carne é fraca.
42 ส ทฺวิตียวารํ ปฺรารฺถยาญฺจเกฺร, เห มตฺตาต, น ปีเต ยทิ กํสมิทํ มตฺโต ทูรํ ยาตุํ น ศกฺโนติ, ตรฺหิ ตฺวทิจฺฉาวทฺ ภวตุฯ
42 Afastou-se pela segunda vez e orou, dizendo: Meu Pai, se não é possível que este cálice passe sem que eu o beba, faça-se a tua vontade!
43 ส ปุนเรตฺย ตานฺ นิทฺรโต ททรฺศ, ยตเสฺตษำ เนตฺราณิ นิทฺรยา ปูรฺณานฺยาสนฺฯ
43 Voltou ainda e os encontrou novamente dormindo, porque seus olhos estavam pesados.
44 ปศฺจาตฺ ส ตานฺ วิหาย วฺรชิตฺวา ตฺฤตียวารํ ปูรฺวฺววตฺ กถยนฺ ปฺรารฺถิตวานฺฯ
44 Deixou-os e foi orar pela terceira vez, dizendo as mesmas palavras.
45 ตต: ศิษฺยานุปาคตฺย คทิตวานฺ, สามฺปฺรตํ ศยานา: กึ วิศฺรามฺยถ? ปศฺยต, สมย อุปาสฺถาตฺ, มนุชสุต: ปาปินำ กเรษุ สมรฺปฺยเตฯ
45 Voltou então para os seus discípulos e disse-lhes: Dormi agora e repousai! Chegou a hora: o Filho do Homem vai ser entregue nas mãos dos pecadores...
46 อุตฺติษฺฐต, วยํ ยาม:, โย มำ ปรกเรษุ มสรฺปยิษฺยติ, ปศฺยต, ส สมีปมายาติฯ
46 Levantai-vos, vamos! Aquele que me trai está perto daqui.
47 เอตตฺกถากถนกาเล ทฺวาทศศิษฺยาณาเมโก ยิหูทานามโก มุขฺยยาชกโลกปฺราจีไน: ปฺรหิตานฺ อสิธาริยษฺฏิธาริโณ มนุชานฺ คฺฤหีตฺวา ตตฺสมีปมุปตเสฺถาฯ
47 Jesus ainda falava, quando veio Judas, um dos Doze, e com ele uma multidão de gente armada de espadas e cacetes, enviada pelos príncipes dos sacerdotes e pelos anciãos do povo.
48 อเสา ปรกเรษฺวรฺปยิตา ปูรฺวฺวํ ตานฺ อิตฺถํ สงฺเกตยามาส, ยมหํ จุมฺพิเษฺย, โส'เสา มนุช:,เสอว ยุษฺมาภิ รฺธารฺยฺยตำฯ
48 O traidor combinara com eles este sinal: Aquele que eu beijar, é ele. Prendei-o!
49 ตทา ส สปทิ ยีศุมุปาคตฺย เห คุโร, ปฺรณมามีตฺยุกฺตฺวา ตํ จุจุมฺเพฯ
49 Aproximou-se imediatamente de Jesus e disse: Salve, Mestre. E beijou-o.
50 ตทา ยีศุสฺตมุวาจ, เห มิตฺรํ กิมรฺถมาคโตสิ? ตทา ไตราคตฺย ยีศุรากฺรมฺย ทเฆฺรฯ
50 Disse-lhe Jesus: É, então, para isso que vens aqui? Em seguida, adiantaram-se eles e lançaram mão em Jesus para prendê-lo.
51 ตโต ยีโศ: สงฺคินาเมก: กรํ ปฺรสารฺยฺย โกษาทสึ พหิษฺกฺฤตฺย มหายาชกสฺย ทาสเมกมาหตฺย ตสฺย กรฺณํ จิจฺเฉทฯ
51 Mas um dos companheiros de Jesus desembainhou a espada e feriu um servo do sumo sacerdote, decepando-lhe a orelha.
52 ตโต ยีศุสฺตํ ชคาท, ขฑฺคํ สฺวสฺถาเนे นิเธหิ ยโต เย เย ชนา อสึ ธารยนฺติ, เตอวาสินา วินศฺยนฺติฯ
52 Jesus, no entanto, lhe disse: Embainha tua espada, porque todos aqueles que usarem da espada, pela espada morrerão.
53 อปรํ ปิตา ยถา มทนฺติกํ สฺวรฺคียทูตานำ ทฺวาทศวาหินีโต'ธิกํ ปฺรหิณุยาตฺ มยา ตมุทฺทิเศฺยทานีเมว ตถา ปฺรารฺถยิตุํ น ศกฺยเต, ตฺวยา กิมิตฺถํ ชฺญายเต?
53 Crês tu que não posso invocar meu Pai e ele não me enviaria imediatamente mais de doze legiões de anjos?
54 ตถา สตีตฺถํ ฆฏิษฺยเต ธรฺมฺมปุสฺตกสฺย ยทิทํ วากฺยํ ตตฺ กถํ สิเธฺยตฺ?
54 Mas como se cumpririam então as Escrituras, segundo as quais é preciso que seja assim?
55 ตทานีํ ยีศุ รฺชนนิวหํ ชคาท, ยูยํ ขฑฺคยษฺฏีนฺ อาทาย มำ กึ เจารํ ธรฺตฺตุมายาตา:? อหํ ปฺรตฺยหํ ยุษฺมาภิ: สากมุปวิศฺย สมุปาทิศํ, ตทา มำ นาธรต;
55 Depois, voltando-se para a turba, falou: Saístes armados de espadas e porretes para prender-me, como se eu fosse um malfeitor. Entretanto, todos os dias estava eu sentado entre vós ensinando no templo e não me prendestes.
56 กินฺตุ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทินำ วากฺยานำ สํสิทฺธเย สรฺวฺวเมตทภูตฺฯ ตทา สรฺเวฺว ศิษฺยาสฺตํ วิหาย ปลายนฺตฯ
56 Mas tudo isto aconteceu porque era necessário que se cumprissem os oráculos dos profetas. Então os discípulos o abandonaram e fugiram.
57 อนนฺตรํ เต มนุชา ยีศุํ ธฺฤตฺวา ยตฺราธฺยาปกปฺราญฺจ: ปริษทํ กุรฺวฺวนฺต อุปาวิศนฺ ตตฺร กิยผานาाมกมหายาชกสฺยานฺติกํ นินฺยุ:ฯ
57 Os que haviam prendido Jesus levaram-no à casa do sumo sacerdote Caifás, onde estavam reunidos os escribas e os anciãos do povo.
58 กินฺตุ เศเษ กึ ภวิษฺยตีติ เวตฺตุํ ปิตโร ทูเร ตตฺปศฺจาทฺ วฺรชิตฺวา มหายาชกสฺยาฏฺฏาลิกำ ปฺรวิศฺย ทาไส: สหิต อุปาวิศตฺฯ
58 Pedro seguia-o de longe, até o pátio do sumo sacerdote. Entrou e sentou-se junto aos criados para ver como terminaria aquilo.
59 ตทานีํ ปฺรธานยาชกปฺราจีนมนฺตฺริณ: สรฺเวฺว ยีศุํ หนฺตุํ มฺฤษาสากฺษฺยมฺ อลิปฺสนฺต,
59 Enquanto isso, os príncipes dos sacerdotes e todo o conselho procuravam um falso testemunho contra Jesus, a fim de o levarem à morte.
60 กินฺตุ น เลภิเรฯ อเนเกษุ มฺฤษาสากฺษิษฺวาคเตษฺวปิ ตนฺน ปฺราปุ:ฯ
60 Mas não o conseguiram, embora se apresentassem muitas falsas testemunhas.
61 เศเษ เทฺวา มฺฤษาสากฺษิณาวาคตฺย ชคทตุ:, ปุมานยมกถยตฺ, อหมีศฺวรมนฺทิรํ ภํกฺตฺวา ทินตฺรยมเธฺย ตนฺนิรฺมฺมาตุํ ศกฺโนมิฯ
61 Por fim, apresentaram-se duas testemunhas, que disseram: Este homem disse: Posso destruir o templo de Deus e reedificá-lo em três dias.
62 ตทา มหายาชก อุตฺถาย ยีศุมฺ อวาทีตฺฯ ตฺวํ กิมปิ น ปฺรติวทสิ? ตฺวามธิ กิเมเต สากฺษฺยํ วทนฺติ?
62 Levantou-se o sumo sacerdote e lhe perguntou: Nada tens a responder ao que essa gente depõe contra ti?
63 กินฺตุ ยีศุ เรฺมานีภูย ตเสฺยาฯ ตโต มหายาชก อุกฺตวานฺ, ตฺวามฺ อมเรศฺวรนามฺนา ศปยามิ, ตฺวมีศฺวรสฺย ปุโตฺร'ภิษิกฺโต ภวสิ นเวติ วทฯ
63 Jesus, no entanto, permanecia calado. Disse-lhe o sumo sacerdote: Por Deus vivo, conjuro-te que nos digas se és o Cristo, o Filho de Deus?
64 ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยวทตฺ, ตฺวํ สตฺยมุกฺตวานฺ; อหํ ยุษฺมานฺ ตถฺยํ วทามิ, อิต:ปรํ มนุชสุตํ สรฺวฺวศกฺติมโต ทกฺษิณปารฺเศฺว สฺถาตุํ คคณสฺถํ ชลธรานารุหฺยายานฺตํ วีกฺษเธฺวฯ
64 Jesus respondeu: Sim. Além disso, eu vos declaro que vereis doravante o Filho do Homem sentar-se à direita do Todo-poderoso, e voltar sobre as nuvens do céu.
65 ตทา มหายาชโก นิชวสนํ ฉิตฺตฺวา ชคาท, เอษ อีศฺวรํ นินฺทิตวานฺ, อสฺมากมปรสากฺเษฺยณ กึ ปฺรโยชนํ? ปศฺยต, ยูยเมวาสฺยาสฺยาทฺ อีศฺวรนินฺทำ ศฺรุตวนฺต:,
65 A estas palavras, o sumo sacerdote rasgou suas vestes, exclamando: Que necessidade temos ainda de testemunhas? Acabastes de ouvir a blasfêmia!
66 ยุษฺมาภิ: กึ วิวิจฺยเต? เต ปฺรตฺยูจุ:, วธาโรฺห'ยํฯ
66 Qual o vosso parecer? Eles responderam: Merece a morte!
67 ตโต โลไกสฺตทาเสฺย นิษฺฐีวิตํ เกจิตฺ ปฺรตลมาหตฺย เกจิจฺจ จเปฏมาหตฺย พภาษิเร,
67 Cuspiram-lhe então na face, bateram-lhe com os punhos e deram-lhe tapas,

69 ปิตโร พหิรงฺคน อุปวิศติ, ตทานีเมกา ทาสี ตมุปาคตฺย พภาเษ, ตฺวํ คาลีลียยีโศ: สหจเรอก:ฯ
69 Enquanto isso, Pedro estava sentado no pátio. Aproximou-se dele uma das servas, dizendo: Também tu estavas com Jesus, o Galileu.
70 กินฺตุ ส สรฺเวฺวษำ สมกฺษมฺ อนงฺคีกฺฤตฺยาวาทีตฺ, ตฺวยา ยทุจฺยเต, ตทรฺถมหํ น เวทฺมิฯ
70 Mas ele negou publicamente, nestes termos: Não sei o que dizes.
71 ตทา ตสฺมินฺ พหิรฺทฺวารํ คเต 'นฺยา ทาสี ตํ นิรีกฺษฺย ตตฺรตฺยชนานวทตฺ, อยมปิ นาสรตียยีศุนา สารฺทฺธมฺ อาสีตฺฯ
71 Dirigia-se ele para a porta, a fim de sair, quando outra criada o viu e disse aos que lá estavam: Este homem também estava com Jesus de Nazaré.
72 ตต: ส ศปเถน ปุนรนงฺคีกฺฤตฺย กถิตวานฺ, ตํ นรํ น ปริจิโนมิฯ
72 Pedro, pela segunda vez, negou com juramento: Eu nem conheço tal homem.
73 กฺษณาตฺ ปรํ ติษฺฐนฺโต ชนา เอตฺย ปิตรมฺ อวทนฺ, ตฺวมวศฺยํ เตษาเมก อิติ ตฺวทุจฺจารณเมว โทฺยตยติฯ
73 Pouco depois, os que ali estavam aproximaram-se de Pedro e disseram: Sim, tu és daqueles; teu modo de falar te dá a conhecer.
74 กินฺตุ โส'ภิศปฺย กถิตวานฺ, ตํ ชนํ นาหํ ปริจิโนมิ, ตทา สปทิ กุกฺกุโฏ รุราวฯ
74 Pedro então começou a fazer imprecações, jurando que nem sequer conhecia tal homem. E, neste momento, cantou o galo.
75 กุกฺกุฏรวาตฺ ปฺรากฺ ตฺวํ มำ ตฺริรปาโหฺนษฺยเส, ไยษา วาคฺ ยีศุนาวาทิ ตำ ปิตร: สํสฺมฺฤตฺย พหิริตฺวา เขทาทฺ ภฺฤศํ จกฺรนฺทฯ
75 Pedro recordou-se do que Jesus lhe dissera: Antes que o galo cante, negar-me-ás três vezes. E saindo, chorou amargamente.
