1 สรฺวฺวานฺ เทฺวษานฺ สรฺวฺวำศฺจ ฉลานฺ กาปฏฺยานีรฺษฺยา: สมสฺตคฺลานิกถาศฺจ ทูรีกฺฤตฺย
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 ยุษฺมาภิ: ปริตฺราณาย วฺฤทฺธิปฺราปฺตฺยรฺถํ นวชาตศิศุภิริว ปฺรกฺฤตํ วาคฺทุคฺธํ ปิปาสฺยตำฯ
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 ยต: ปฺรภุ รฺมธุร เอตสฺยาสฺวาทํ ยูยํ ปฺราปฺตวนฺต:ฯ
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 อปรํ มานุไษรวชฺญาตสฺย กินฺตฺวีศฺวเรณาภิรุจิตสฺย พหุมูลฺยสฺย ชีวตฺปฺรสฺตรเสฺยว ตสฺย ปฺรโภ: สนฺนิธิมฺ อาคตา

5 ยูยมปิ ชีวตฺปฺรสฺตรา อิว นิจียมานา อาตฺมิกมนฺทิรํ ขฺรีษฺเฏน ยีศุนา เจศฺวรโตษกาณามฺ อาตฺมิกพลีนำ ทานารฺถํ ปวิโตฺร ยาชกวรฺโค ภวถฯ
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 ยต: ศาสฺเตฺร ลิขิตมาเสฺต, ยถา, ปศฺย ปาษาณ เอโก 'สฺติ สีโยนิ สฺถาปิโต มยาฯ มุขฺยโกณสฺย โยคฺย: ส วฺฤตศฺจาตีว มูลฺยวานฺฯ โย ชโน วิศฺวเสตฺ ตสฺมินฺ ส ลชฺชำ น คมิษฺยติฯ
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 วิศฺวาสินำ ยุษฺมากเมว สมีเป ส มูลฺยวานฺ ภวติ กินฺตฺววิศฺวาสินำ กฺฤเต นิเจตฺฤภิรวชฺญาต: ส ปาษาณ: โกณสฺย ภิตฺติมูลํ ภูตฺวา พาธาชนก: ปาษาณ: สฺขลนการกศฺจ ไศโล ชาต:ฯ
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 เต จาวิศฺวาสาทฺ วาเกฺยน สฺขลนฺติ สฺขลเน จ นิยุกฺตา: สนฺติฯ
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 กินฺตุ ยูยํ เยนานฺธการมธฺยาตฺ สฺวกียาศฺจรฺยฺยทีปฺติมธฺยมฺ อาหูตาสฺตสฺย คุณานฺ ปฺรกาศยิตุมฺ อภิรุจิโต วํโศ ราชกีโย ยาชกวรฺค: ปวิตฺรา ชาติรธิกรฺตฺตวฺยา: ปฺรชาศฺจ ชาตา:ฯ
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 ปูรฺวฺวํ ยูยํ ตสฺย ปฺรชา นาภวต กินฺตฺวิทานีมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย ปฺรชา อาเธฺวฯ ปูรฺวฺวมฺ อนนุกมฺปิตา อภวต กินฺตฺวิทานีมฺ อนุกมฺปิตา อาเธฺวฯ
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 เห ปฺริยตมา:, ยูยํ ปฺรวาสิโน วิเทศินศฺจ โลกา อิว มนส: ปฺราติกูเลฺยน โยธิภฺย: ศารีริกสุขาภิลาเษโภฺย นิวรฺตฺตธฺวมฺ อิตฺยหํ วินเยฯ
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 เทวปูชกานำ มเธฺย ยุษฺมากมฺ อาจาร เอวมฺ อุตฺตโม ภวตุ ยถา เต ยุษฺมานฺ ทุษฺกรฺมฺมการิโลกานิว ปุน รฺน นินฺทนฺต: กฺฤปาทฺฤษฺฏิทิเน สฺวจกฺษุรฺโคจรียสตฺกฺริยาภฺย อีศฺวรสฺย ปฺรศํสำ กุรฺยฺยุ:ฯ
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 ตโต เหโต รฺยูยํ ปฺรโภรนุโรธาตฺ มานวสฺฤษฺฏานำ กรฺตฺฤตฺวปทานำ วศีภวต วิเศษโต ภูปาลสฺย ยต: ส เศฺรษฺฐ:,

14 เทศาธฺยกฺษาณาญฺจ ยตเสฺต ทุษฺกรฺมฺมการิณำ ทณฺฑทานารฺถํ สตฺกรฺมฺมการิณำ ปฺรศํสารฺถญฺจ เตน เปฺรริตา:ฯ
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 อิตฺถํ นิรฺพฺโพธมานุษาณามฺ อชฺญานตฺวํ ยตฺ สทาจาริภิ รฺยุษฺมาภิ รฺนิรุตฺตรีกฺริยเต ตทฺ อีศฺวรสฺยาภิมตํฯ
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 ยูยํ สฺวาธีนา อิวาจรต ตถาปิ ทุษฺฏตายา เวษสฺวรูปำ สฺวาธีนตำ ธารยนฺต อิว นหิ กินฺตฺวีศฺวรสฺย ทาสา อิวฯ
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 สรฺวฺวานฺ สมาทฺริยธฺวํ ภฺราตฺฤวรฺเค ปฺรียธฺวมฺ อีศฺวราทฺ พิภีต ภูปาลํ สมฺมนฺยธฺวํฯ
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 เห ทาสา: ยูยํ สมฺปูรฺณาทเรณ ปฺรภูนำ วศฺยา ภวต เกวลํ ภทฺราณำ ทยาลูนาญฺจ นหิ กินฺตฺวนฺฤชูนามปิฯ
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 ยโต 'นฺยาเยน ทุ:ขโภคกาล อีศฺวรจินฺตยา ยตฺ เกฺลศสหนํ ตเทว ปฺริยํฯ
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 ปาปํ กฺฤตฺวา ยุษฺมากํ จเปฏาฆาตสหเนน กา ปฺรศํสา? กินฺตุ สทาจารํ กฺฤตฺวา ยุษฺมากํ ยทฺ ทุ:ขสหนํ ตเทเวศฺวรสฺย ปฺริยํฯ
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 ตทรฺถเมว ยูยมฺ อาหูตา ยต: ขฺรีษฺโฏ'ปิ ยุษฺมนฺนิมิตฺตํ ทุ:ขํ ภุกฺตฺวา ยูยํ ยตฺ ตสฺย ปทจิไหฺน รฺวฺรเชต ตทรฺถํ ทฺฤษฺฏานฺตเมกํ ทรฺศิตวานฺฯ
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 ส กิมปิ ปาปํ น กฺฤตวานฺ ตสฺย วทเน กาปิ ฉลสฺย กถา นาสีตฺฯ
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 นินฺทิโต 'ปิ สนฺ ส ปฺรตินินฺทำ น กฺฤตวานฺ ทุ:ขํ สหมาโน 'ปิ น ภรฺตฺสิตวานฺ กินฺตุ ยถารฺถวิจารยิตุ: สมีเป สฺวํ สมรฺปิตวานฺฯ
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 วยํ ยตฺ ปาเปโภฺย นิวฺฤตฺย ธรฺมฺมารฺถํ ชีวามสฺตทรฺถํ ส สฺวศรีเรณาสฺมากํ ปาปานิ กฺรุศ อูฒวานฺ ตสฺย ปฺรหาไร รฺยูยํ สฺวสฺถา อภวตฯ
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 ยต: ปูรฺวฺวํ ยูยํ ภฺรมณการิเมษา อิวาธฺวํ กินฺตฺวธุนา ยุษฺมากมฺ อาตฺมนำ ปาลกสฺยาธฺยกฺษสฺย จ สมีปํ ปฺรตฺยาวรฺตฺติตา:ฯ
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
