1 ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪುನರಪಿ ದೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ತೇನ ತಾನ್ ಅವಾದೀತ್,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯರಾಜ್ಯಮ್ ಏತಾದೃಶಸ್ಯ ನೃಪತೇಃ ಸಮಂ, ಯೋ ನಿಜ ಪುತ್ರಂ ವಿವಾಹಯನ್ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾನ್ ನಿಮನ್ತ್ರಿತಾನ್ ಆನೇತುಂ ದಾಸೇಯಾನ್ ಪ್ರಹಿತವಾನ್,
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ಕಿನ್ತು ತೇ ಸಮಾಗನ್ತುಂ ನೇಷ್ಟವನ್ತಃ|
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 ತತೋ ರಾಜಾ ಪುನರಪಿ ದಾಸಾನನ್ಯಾನ್ ಇತ್ಯುಕ್ತ್ವಾ ಪ್ರೇಷಯಾಮಾಸ, ನಿಮನ್ತ್ರಿತಾನ್ ವದತ, ಪಶ್ಯತ, ಮಮ ಭೇಜ್ಯಮಾಸಾದಿತಮಾಸ್ತೇ, ನಿಜವ್ಟಷಾದಿಪುಷ್ಟಜನ್ತೂನ್ ಮಾರಯಿತ್ವಾ ಸರ್ವ್ವಂ ಖಾದ್ಯದ್ರವ್ಯಮಾಸಾದಿತವಾನ್, ಯೂಯಂ ವಿವಾಹಮಾಗಚ್ಛತ|
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 ತಥಪಿ ತೇ ತುಚ್ಛೀಕೃತ್ಯ ಕೇಚಿತ್ ನಿಜಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಂ ಕೇಚಿದ್ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ವಮಾರ್ಗೇಣ ಚಲಿತವನ್ತಃ|
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 ಅನ್ಯೇ ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ದಾಸೇಯಾನ್ ಧೃತ್ವಾ ದೌರಾತ್ಮ್ಯಂ ವ್ಯವಹೃತ್ಯ ತಾನವಧಿಷುಃ|
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಸ ನೃಪತಿಸ್ತಾಂ ವಾರ್ತ್ತಾಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಕ್ರುಧ್ಯನ್ ಸೈನ್ಯಾನಿ ಪ್ರಹಿತ್ಯ ತಾನ್ ಘಾತಕಾನ್ ಹತ್ವಾ ತೇಷಾಂ ನಗರಂ ದಾಹಯಾಮಾಸ|
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 ತತಃ ಸ ನಿಜದಾಸೇಯಾನ್ ಬಭಾಷೇ, ವಿವಾಹೀಯಂ ಭೋಜ್ಯಮಾಸಾದಿತಮಾಸ್ತೇ, ಕಿನ್ತು ನಿಮನ್ತ್ರಿತಾ ಜನಾ ಅಯೋಗ್ಯಾಃ|
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಯೂಯಂ ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗಂ ಗತ್ವಾ ಯಾವತೋ ಮನುಜಾನ್ ಪಶ್ಯತ, ತಾವತಏವ ವಿವಾಹೀಯಭೋಜ್ಯಾಯ ನಿಮನ್ತ್ರಯತ|
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 ತದಾ ತೇ ದಾಸೇಯಾ ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗಂ ಗತ್ವಾ ಭದ್ರಾನ್ ಅಭದ್ರಾನ್ ವಾ ಯಾವತೋ ಜನಾನ್ ದದೃಶುಃ, ತಾವತಏವ ಸಂಗೃಹ್ಯಾನಯನ್; ತತೋಽಭ್ಯಾಗತಮನುಜೈ ರ್ವಿವಾಹಗೃಹಮ್ ಅಪೂರ್ಯ್ಯತ|
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 ತದಾನೀಂ ಸ ರಾಜಾ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾನಭ್ಯಾಗತಾನ್ ದ್ರಷ್ಟುಮ್ ಅಭ್ಯನ್ತರಮಾಗತವಾನ್; ತದಾ ತತ್ರ ವಿವಾಹೀಯವಸನಹೀನಮೇಕಂ ಜನಂ ವೀಕ್ಷ್ಯ ತಂ ಜಗಾದ್,
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ಹೇ ಮಿತ್ರ,ತ್ವಂ ವಿವಾಹೀಯವಸನಂ ವಿನಾ ಕಥಮತ್ರ ಪ್ರವಿಷ್ಟವಾನ್? ತೇನ ಸ ನಿರುತ್ತರೋ ಬಭೂವ|
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 ತದಾ ರಾಜಾ ನಿಜಾನುಚರಾನ್ ಅವದತ್, ಏತಸ್ಯ ಕರಚರಣಾನ್ ಬದ್ಧಾ ಯತ್ರ ರೋದನಂ ದನ್ತೈರ್ದನ್ತಘರ್ಷಣಞ್ಚ ಭವತಿ, ತತ್ರ ವಹಿರ್ಭೂತತಮಿಸ್ರೇ ತಂ ನಿಕ್ಷಿಪತ|
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 ಇತ್ಥಂ ಬಹವ ಆಹೂತಾ ಅಲ್ಪೇ ಮನೋಭಿಮತಾಃ|
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಫಿರೂಶಿನಃ ಪ್ರಗತ್ಯ ಯಥಾ ಸಂಲಾಪೇನ ತಮ್ ಉನ್ಮಾಥೇ ಪಾತಯೇಯುಸ್ತಥಾ ಮನ್ತ್ರಯಿತ್ವಾ

16 ಹೇರೋದೀಯಮನುಜೈಃ ಸಾಕಂ ನಿಜಶಿಷ್ಯಗಣೇನ ತಂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕಥಯಾಮಾಸುಃ, ಹೇ ಗುರೋ, ಭವಾನ್ ಸತ್ಯಃ ಸತ್ಯಮೀಶ್ವರೀಯಮಾರ್ಗಮುಪದಿಶತಿ, ಕಮಪಿ ಮಾನುಷಂ ನಾನುರುಧ್ಯತೇ, ಕಮಪಿ ನಾಪೇಕ್ಷತೇ ಚ, ತದ್ ವಯಂ ಜಾನೀಮಃ|
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 ಅತಃ ಕೈಸರಭೂಪಾಯ ಕರೋಽಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ದಾತವ್ಯೋ ನ ವಾ? ಅತ್ರ ಭವತಾ ಕಿಂ ಬುಧ್ಯತೇ? ತದ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾನ್ ವದತು|
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತೇಷಾಂ ಖಲತಾಂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್, ರೇ ಕಪಟಿನಃ ಯುಯಂ ಕುತೋ ಮಾಂ ಪರಿಕ್ಷಧ್ವೇ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 ತತ್ಕರದಾನಸ್ಯ ಮುದ್ರಾಂ ಮಾಂ ದರ್ಶಯತ| ತದಾನೀಂ ತೈಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪಂ ಮುದ್ರಾಚತುರ್ಥಭಾಗ ಆನೀತೇ
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ಸ ತಾನ್ ಪಪ್ರಚ್ಛ, ಅತ್ರ ಕಸ್ಯೇಯಂ ಮೂರ್ತ್ತಿ ರ್ನಾಮ ಚಾಸ್ತೇ? ತೇ ಜಗದುಃ, ಕೈಸರಭೂಪಸ್ಯ|
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 ತತಃ ಸ ಉಕ್ತವಾನ, ಕೈಸರಸ್ಯ ಯತ್ ತತ್ ಕೈಸರಾಯ ದತ್ತ, ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಯತ್ ತದ್ ಈಶ್ವರಾಯ ದತ್ತ|
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 ಇತಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ನಿಶಮ್ಯ ತೇ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ತಂ ವಿಹಾಯ ಚಲಿತವನ್ತಃ|
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ನಹನಿ ಸಿದೂಕಿನೋಽರ್ಥಾತ್ ಶ್ಮಶಾನಾತ್ ನೋತ್ಥಾಸ್ಯನ್ತೀತಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಯೇ ವದನ್ತಿ, ತೇ ಯೀಶೇाರನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಗತ್ಯ ಪಪ್ರಚ್ಛುಃ,

24 ಹೇ ಗುರೋ, ಕಶ್ಚಿನ್ಮನುಜಶ್ಚೇತ್ ನಿಃಸನ್ತಾನಃ ಸನ್ ಪ್ರಾಣಾನ್ ತ್ಯಜತಿ, ತರ್ಹಿ ತಸ್ಯ ಭ್ರಾತಾ ತಸ್ಯ ಜಾಯಾಂ ವ್ಯುಹ್ಯ ಭ್ರಾತುಃ ಸನ್ತಾನಮ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದಯಿಷ್ಯತೀತಿ ಮೂಸಾ ಆದಿಷ್ಟವಾನ್|
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಸ್ಮಾಕಮತ್ರ ಕೇಽಪಿ ಜನಾಃ ಸಪ್ತಸಹೋದರಾ ಆಸನ್, ತೇಷಾಂ ಜ್ಯೇಷ್ಠ ಏಕಾಂ ಕನ್ಯಾಂ ವ್ಯವಹಾತ್, ಅಪರಂ ಪ್ರಾಣತ್ಯಾಗಕಾಲೇ ಸ್ವಯಂ ನಿಃಸನ್ತಾನಃ ಸನ್ ತಾಂ ಸ್ತ್ರಿಯಂ ಸ್ವಭ್ರಾತರಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾನ್,
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ತತೋ ದ್ವಿತೀಯಾದಿಸಪ್ತಮಾನ್ತಾಶ್ಚ ತಥೈವ ಚಕ್ರುಃ|
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 ಶೇಷೇ ಸಾಪೀ ನಾರೀ ಮಮಾರ|
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 ಮೃತಾನಾಮ್ ಉತ್ಥಾನಸಮಯೇ ತೇಷಾಂ ಸಪ್ತಾನಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಸಾ ನಾರೀ ಕಸ್ಯ ಭಾರ್ಯ್ಯಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ? ಯಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಸರ್ವ್ವಏವ ತಾಂ ವ್ಯವಹನ್|
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವಾದೀತ್, ಯೂಯಂ ಧರ್ಮ್ಮಪುಸ್ತಕಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರೀಯಾಂ ಶಕ್ತಿಞ್ಚ ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಭ್ರಾನ್ತಿಮನ್ತಃ|
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 ಉತ್ಥಾನಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಾ ಲೋಕಾ ನ ವಿವಹನ್ತಿ, ನ ಚ ವಾಚಾ ದೀಯನ್ತೇ, ಕಿನ್ತ್ವೀಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಸ್ಥದೂತಾನಾಂ ಸದೃಶಾ ಭವನ್ತಿ|
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 ಅಪರಂ ಮೃತಾನಾಮುತ್ಥಾನಮಧಿ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನ್ ಪ್ರತೀಯಮೀಶ್ವರೋಕ್ತಿಃ,
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 "ಅಹಮಿಬ್ರಾಹೀಮ ಈಶ್ವರ ಇಸ್ಹಾಕ ಈಶ್ವರೋ ಯಾಕೂಬ ಈಶ್ವರ" ಇತಿ ಕಿಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿ ರ್ನಾಪಾಠಿ? ಕಿನ್ತ್ವೀಶ್ವರೋ ಜೀವತಾಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರ:, ಸ ಮೃತಾನಾಮೀಶ್ವರೋ ನಹಿ|
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 ಇತಿ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇ ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಸ್ಯೋಪದೇಶಾದ್ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಂ ಗತಾಃ|
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಸಿದೂಕಿನಾಮ್ ನಿರುತ್ತರತ್ವವಾರ್ತಾಂ ನಿಶಮ್ಯ ಫಿರೂಶಿನ ಏಕತ್ರ ಮಿಲಿತವನ್ತಃ,
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 ತೇಷಾಮೇಕೋ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕೋ ಯೀಶುಂ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿತುಂ ಪಪಚ್ಛ,
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 ಹೇ ಗುರೋ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಮಧ್ಯೇ ಕಾಜ್ಞಾ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠಾ?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 ತತೋ ಯೀಶುರುವಾಚ, ತ್ವಂ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾನ್ತಃಕರಣೈಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವಪ್ರಾಣೈಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವಚಿತ್ತೈಶ್ಚ ಸಾಕಂ ಪ್ರಭೌ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರೇ ಪ್ರೀಯಸ್ವ,
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ಏಷಾ ಪ್ರಥಮಮಹಾಜ್ಞಾ| ತಸ್ಯಾಃ ಸದೃಶೀ ದ್ವಿತೀಯಾಜ್ಞೈಷಾ,
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 ತವ ಸಮೀಪವಾಸಿನಿ ಸ್ವಾತ್ಮನೀವ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಕುರು|
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ಅನಯೋ ರ್ದ್ವಯೋರಾಜ್ಞಯೋಃ ಕೃತ್ಸ್ನವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಯಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಕ್ತೃಗ್ರನ್ಥಸ್ಯ ಚ ಭಾರಸ್ತಿಷ್ಠತಿ|
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಫಿರೂಶಿನಾಮ್ ಏಕತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಕಾಲೇ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಪಪ್ರಚ್ಛ,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟಮಧಿ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಕೀದೃಗ್ಬೋಧೋ ಜಾಯತೇ? ಸ ಕಸ್ಯ ಸನ್ತಾನಃ? ತತಸ್ತೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವದನ್, ದಾಯೂದಃ ಸನ್ತಾನಃ|
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 ತದಾ ಸ ಉಕ್ತವಾನ್, ತರ್ಹಿ ದಾಯೂದ್ ಕಥಮ್ ಆತ್ಮಾಧಿಷ್ಠಾನೇನ ತಂ ಪ್ರಭುಂ ವದತಿ ?
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ಯಥಾ ಮಮ ಪ್ರಭುಮಿದಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಮವದತ್ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಃ| ತವಾರೀನ್ ಪಾದಪೀಠಂ ತೇ ಯಾವನ್ನಹಿ ಕರೋಮ್ಯಹಂ| ತಾವತ್ ಕಾಲಂ ಮದೀಯೇ ತ್ವಂ ದಕ್ಷಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ ಉಪಾವಿಶ| ಅತೋ ಯದಿ ದಾಯೂದ್ ತಂ ಪ್ರಭುಂ ವದತಿ, ರ್ತಿಹ ಸ ಕಥಂ ತಸ್ಯ ಸನ್ತಾನೋ ಭವತಿ?
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ತದಾನೀಂ ತೇಷಾಂ ಕೋಪಿ ತದ್ವಾಕ್ಯಸ್ಯ ಕಿಮಪ್ಯುತ್ತರಂ ದಾತುಂ ನಾಶಕ್ನೋತ್;
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 ತದ್ದಿನಮಾರಭ್ಯ ತಂ ಕಿಮಪಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರಷ್ಟುಂ ಕಸ್ಯಾಪಿ ಸಾಹಸೋ ನಾಭವತ್|
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
