1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 যুষ্মাভিঃ পরিত্রাণায ৱৃদ্ধিপ্রাপ্ত্যর্থং নৱজাতশিশুভিরিৱ প্রকৃতং ৱাগ্দুগ্ধং পিপাস্যতাং|
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 যতঃ প্রভু র্মধুর এতস্যাস্ৱাদং যূযং প্রাপ্তৱন্তঃ|
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 অপরং মানুষৈরৱজ্ঞাতস্য কিন্ত্ৱীশ্ৱরেণাভিরুচিতস্য বহুমূল্যস্য জীৱৎপ্রস্তরস্যেৱ তস্য প্রভোঃ সন্নিধিম্ আগতা

5 যূযমপি জীৱৎপ্রস্তরা ইৱ নিচীযমানা আত্মিকমন্দিরং খ্রীষ্টেন যীশুনা চেশ্ৱরতোষকাণাম্ আত্মিকবলীনাং দানার্থং পৱিত্রো যাজকৱর্গো ভৱথ|
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 যতঃ শাস্ত্রে লিখিতমাস্তে, যথা, পশ্য পাষাণ একো ঽস্তি সীযোনি স্থাপিতো মযা| মুখ্যকোণস্য যোগ্যঃ স ৱৃতশ্চাতীৱ মূল্যৱান্| যো জনো ৱিশ্ৱসেৎ তস্মিন্ স লজ্জাং ন গমিষ্যতি|
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 ৱিশ্ৱাসিনাং যুষ্মাকমেৱ সমীপে স মূল্যৱান্ ভৱতি কিন্ত্ৱৱিশ্ৱাসিনাং কৃতে নিচেতৃভিরৱজ্ঞাতঃ স পাষাণঃ কোণস্য ভিত্তিমূলং ভূৎৱা বাধাজনকঃ পাষাণঃ স্খলনকারকশ্চ শৈলো জাতঃ|
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 তে চাৱিশ্ৱাসাদ্ ৱাক্যেন স্খলন্তি স্খলনে চ নিযুক্তাঃ সন্তি|
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 কিন্তু যূযং যেনান্ধকারমধ্যাৎ স্ৱকীযাশ্চর্য্যদীপ্তিমধ্যম্ আহূতাস্তস্য গুণান্ প্রকাশযিতুম্ অভিরুচিতো ৱংশো রাজকীযো যাজকৱর্গঃ পৱিত্রা জাতিরধিকর্ত্তৱ্যাঃ প্রজাশ্চ জাতাঃ|
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 পূর্ৱ্ৱং যূযং তস্য প্রজা নাভৱত কিন্ত্ৱিদানীম্ ঈশ্ৱরস্য প্রজা আধ্ৱে| পূর্ৱ্ৱম্ অননুকম্পিতা অভৱত কিন্ত্ৱিদানীম্ অনুকম্পিতা আধ্ৱে|
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 হে প্রিযতমাঃ, যূযং প্রৱাসিনো ৱিদেশিনশ্চ লোকা ইৱ মনসঃ প্রাতিকূল্যেন যোধিভ্যঃ শারীরিকসুখাভিলাষেভ্যো নিৱর্ত্তধ্ৱম্ ইত্যহং ৱিনযে|
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 দেৱপূজকানাং মধ্যে যুষ্মাকম্ আচার এৱম্ উত্তমো ভৱতু যথা তে যুষ্মান্ দুষ্কর্ম্মকারিলোকানিৱ পুন র্ন নিন্দন্তঃ কৃপাদৃষ্টিদিনে স্ৱচক্ষুর্গোচরীযসৎক্রিযাভ্য ঈশ্ৱরস্য প্রশংসাং কুর্য্যুঃ|
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 ততো হেতো র্যূযং প্রভোরনুরোধাৎ মানৱসৃষ্টানাং কর্তৃৎৱপদানাং ৱশীভৱত ৱিশেষতো ভূপালস্য যতঃ স শ্রেষ্ঠঃ,

14 দেশাধ্যক্ষাণাঞ্চ যতস্তে দুষ্কর্ম্মকারিণাং দণ্ডদানার্থং সৎকর্ম্মকারিণাং প্রশংসার্থঞ্চ তেন প্রেরিতাঃ|
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 ইত্থং নির্ব্বোধমানুষাণাম্ অজ্ঞানৎৱং যৎ সদাচারিভি র্যুষ্মাভি র্নিরুত্তরীক্রিযতে তদ্ ঈশ্ৱরস্যাভিমতং|
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 যূযং স্ৱাধীনা ইৱাচরত তথাপি দুষ্টতাযা ৱেষস্ৱরূপাং স্ৱাধীনতাং ধারযন্ত ইৱ নহি কিন্ত্ৱীশ্ৱরস্য দাসা ইৱ|
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 সর্ৱ্ৱান্ সমাদ্রিযধ্ৱং ভ্রাতৃৱর্গে প্রীযধ্ৱম্ ঈশ্ৱরাদ্ বিভীত ভূপালং সম্মন্যধ্ৱং|
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 হে দাসাঃ যূযং সম্পূর্ণাদরেণ প্রভূনাং ৱশ্যা ভৱত কেৱলং ভদ্রাণাং দযালূনাঞ্চ নহি কিন্ত্ৱনৃজূনামপি|
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 যতো ঽন্যাযেন দুঃখভোগকাল ঈশ্ৱরচিন্তযা যৎ ক্লেশসহনং তদেৱ প্রিযং|
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 পাপং কৃৎৱা যুষ্মাকং চপেটাঘাতসহনেন কা প্রশংসা? কিন্তু সদাচারং কৃৎৱা যুষ্মাকং যদ্ দুঃখসহনং তদেৱেশ্ৱরস্য প্রিযং|
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 তদর্থমেৱ যূযম্ আহূতা যতঃ খ্রীষ্টোঽপি যুষ্মন্নিমিত্তং দুঃখং ভুক্ত্ৱা যূযং যৎ তস্য পদচিহ্নৈ র্ৱ্রজেত তদর্থং দৃষ্টান্তমেকং দর্শিতৱান্|
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 স কিমপি পাপং ন কৃতৱান্ তস্য ৱদনে কাপি ছলস্য কথা নাসীৎ|
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 নিন্দিতো ঽপি সন্ স প্রতিনিন্দাং ন কৃতৱান্ দুঃখং সহমানো ঽপি ন ভর্ত্সিতৱান্ কিন্তু যথার্থৱিচারযিতুঃ সমীপে স্ৱং সমর্পিতৱান্|
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 ৱযং যৎ পাপেভ্যো নিৱৃত্য ধর্ম্মার্থং জীৱামস্তদর্থং স স্ৱশরীরেণাস্মাকং পাপানি ক্রুশ ঊঢৱান্ তস্য প্রহারৈ র্যূযং স্ৱস্থা অভৱত|
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 যতঃ পূর্ৱ্ৱং যূযং ভ্রমণকারিমেষা ইৱাধ্ৱং কিন্ত্ৱধুনা যুষ্মাকম্ আত্মনাং পালকস্যাধ্যক্ষস্য চ সমীপং প্রত্যাৱর্ত্তিতাঃ|
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
