1 After these things I saw, and lo, a door opened in the heaven, and the first voice that I heard is as of a trumpet speaking with me, saying, 'Come up hither, and I will show you what it behooves to come to pass after these things;'
1 Depois destas coisas, olhei, e eis que estava uma porta aberta no céu, e a primeira voz que ouvira, voz como de trombeta, falando comigo, disse: Sobe aqui, e mostrar-te-ei as coisas que depois destas devem acontecer.
2 and immediately I was in the Spirit, and lo, a throne was set in the heaven, and upon the throne is one sitting,
2 Imediatamente fui arrebatado em espírito, e eis que um trono estava posto no céu, e um assentado sobre o trono;
3 and He who is sitting was in sight like a stone, jasper and sardine: and a rainbow was round the throne in sight like an emerald.
3 e aquele que estava assentado era, na aparência, semelhante a uma pedra de jaspe e sárdio; e havia ao redor do trono um arco-íris semelhante, na aparência, à esmeralda.
4 And around the throne are thrones twenty and four, and upon the thrones I saw the twenty and four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and they had upon their heads crowns of gold;
4 Havia também ao redor do trono vinte e quatro tronos; e sobre os tronos vi assentados vinte e quatro anciãos, vestidos de branco, que tinham nas suas cabeças coroas de ouro.
5 and out of the throne proceed do lightnings, and thunders, and voices; and seven lamps of fire are burning before the throne, which are the Seven Spirits of God,
5 E do trono saíam relâmpagos, e vozes, e trovões; e diante do trono ardiam sete lâmpadas de fogo, as quais são os sete espíritos de Deus;
6 and before the throne is a sea of glass like to crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and round the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes before and behind;
6 também havia diante do trono como que um mar de vidro, semelhante ao cristal; e ao redor do trono, um ao meio de cada lado, quatro seres viventes cheios de olhos por diante e por detrás;
7 and the first living creature is like a lion, and the second living creature is like a calf, and the third living creature has the face as a man, and the fourth living creature is like an eagle flying.
7 e o primeiro ser era semelhante a um leão; o segundo ser, semelhante a um touro; tinha o terceiro ser o rosto como de homem; e o quarto ser era semelhante a uma águia voando.
8 And the four living creatures, each by itself severally, had six wings, around and within are full of eyes, and rest they have not day and night, saying, 'Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is coming;'
8 Os quatro seres viventes tinham, cada um, seis asas, e ao redor e por dentro estavam cheios de olhos; e não têm descanso nem de noite, dizendo: Santo, Santo, Santo é o Senhor Deus, o Todo-Poderoso, aquele que era, e que é, e que há de vir.
9 and when the living creatures do give glory, and honour, and thanks, to Him who is sitting upon the throne, who is living to the ages of the ages,
9 E, sempre que os seres viventes davam glória e honra e ações de graças ao que estava assentado sobre o trono, ao que vive pelos séculos dos séculos,
10 fall down do the twenty and four elders before Him who is sitting upon the throne, and bow before Him who is living to the ages of the ages, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
10 os vinte e quatro anciãos prostravam-se diante do que estava assentado sobre o trono, e adoravam ao que vive pelos séculos dos séculos; e lançavam as suas coroas diante do trono, dizendo:
11 'Worthy are You, O Lord, to receive the glory, and the honour, and the power, because You -- You did create the all things, and because of Your will are they, and they were created.'
11 Digno és, Senhor nosso e Deus nosso, de receber a glória e a honra e o poder; porque tu criaste todas as coisas, e por tua vontade existiram e foram criadas.
