¹ The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!

¹ Reina o Senhor . Alegre-se a terra, exultem as muitas ilhas.

² Clouds and thick darkness are round about him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

² Nuvens e escuridão o rodeiam, justiça e juízo são a base do seu trono.

³ Fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries round about.

³ Adiante dele vai um fogo que consome os inimigos ao seu redor.

⁴ His lightnings lighten the world; the earth sees and trembles.

⁴ Os seus relâmpagos iluminam o mundo; a terra os vê e estremece.

⁵ The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.

⁶ The heavens proclaim his righteousness; and all the peoples behold his glory.

⁹ For thou, O LORD, art most high over all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.

⁹ Pois tu, Senhor , és o Altíssimo sobre toda a terra; tu estás muito acima de todos os deuses.

¹⁰ The LORD loves those who hate evil; he preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

¹⁰ Vocês que amam o Senhor , odeiem o mal; ele protege a vida dos seus santos, e os livra das mãos dos ímpios.

¹¹ Light dawns for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.

¹¹ A luz se difunde para o justo, e a alegria, para os retos de coração.

¹² Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name!

¹² Alegrem-se no Senhor , ó justos, e deem graças ao seu santo nome.
