1 A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song.
1 O seu fundamento está nos montes santos.
2 On the holy mount stands the city he founded;
2 O Senhor ama as portas de Sião mais do que todas as habitações de Jacó.
3 the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob.
3 Coisas gloriosas se dizem de ti, ó cidade de Deus. (Selá)
4 Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God. [Selah]
4 Dentre os que me conhecem, farei menção de Raabe e de Babilônia; eis que da Filístia, e de Tiro, e da Etiópia, se dirá: Este é nascido ali.
5 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia-- "This one was born there," they say.
5 E de Sião se dirá: Este e aquele nasceram ali; e o mesmo Altíssimo a estabelecerá.
6 And of Zion it shall be said, "This one and that one were born in her"; for the Most High himself will establish her.
6 O Senhor , ao fazer descrição dos povos, dirá: Este é nascido ali. (Selá)
7 The LORD records as he registers the peoples, "This one was born there." [Selah] [ (Psalms 87:8) Singers and dancers alike say, "All my springs are in you." ]
7 E os cantores e tocadores de instrumentos entoarão: Todas as minhas fontes estão em ti.
