1 I will give thee thanks with all my heart, Before the messengers of God, will I praise thee in song:
1 De Davi. Eu vos louvarei de todo o coração, Senhor, porque ouvistes as minhas palavras. Na presença dos anjos eu vos cantarei.
2 I will bow down towards thy holy temple, and thank thy Name, for thy lovingkindness and for thy faithfulness, For thou hast magnified, above all thy Name, thy word!
2 Ante vosso santo templo prostrar-me-ei, e louvarei o vosso nome, pela vossa bondade e fidelidade, porque acima de todas as coisas, exaltastes o vosso nome e a vossa promessa.
3 In the day I cried unto thee, then didst thou answer me, and didst excite me, in my soul, mightily.
3 Quando vos invoquei, vós me respondestes; fizestes crescer a força de minha alma.
4 All the kings of the earth, will thank thee, O Yahweh, when they have heard the sayings of thy mouth;
4 Hão de vos louvar, Senhor, todos os reis da terra, ao ouvirem as palavras de vossa boca.
5 And they will sing of the ways of Yahweh, That great is the glory of Yahweh:
5 E celebrarão os desígnios do Senhor: Verdadeiramente, grande é a glória do Senhor.
6 Though lofty is Yahweh, yet, the lowly, he regardeth, but, the haughtyafar off, doth he acknowledge.
6 Sim, excelso é o Senhor, mas olha os pequeninos, enquanto seu olhar perscruta os soberbos.
7 Though I walk in the midst of distress, thou wilt give me life,Because of the anger of my foes, thou wilt thrust forth thy hand, and thy right hand, will save me:
7 Em meio à adversidade vós me conservais a vida, estendeis a mão contra a cólera de meus inimigos; salva-me a vossa mão.
8 Yahweh, will carry through my cause,O Yahweh! thy lovingkindness, is age-abiding, The works of thine own hands, do not thou desert.
8 O Senhor completará o que em meu auxílio começou. Senhor, eterna é a vossa bondade: não abandoneis a obra de vossas mãos.
