1 Praise ye Yah! Praise, O ye servants of Yahweh, Praise the Name of Yahweh;
1 Aleluia !
2 Be the Name of Yahweh blessed, henceforth, even to times age-abiding.
2 Que o nome do Senhor seja louvado agora e para sempre!
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going in thereof, Worthy to be praised, is the Name of Yahweh:
3 Desde o nascer até o pôr do sol, que o nome do
4 High above all nations, is Yahweh, Above the heavens, his glory.
4 O Senhor governa todas as nações; a sua
5 Who is like Yahweh our God? that goeth on high to dwell,
5 Não há ninguém como o Senhor , nosso Deus, que tem o seu trono nas alturas,
6 That cometh down low to look, through the heavens and through the earth;
6 mas se inclina para ver o que há no céu e na terra.
7 That raiseth, out of the dust, the poor, From the dunghill, uplifteth the needy;
7 Ele livra da humilhação os pobres e tira da miséria os necessitados;
8 To give a seat with nobles, with the nobles of his people!
8 ele faz com que eles sejam companheiros de governantes, dos governantes do seu povo.
9 Causing the barren woman to dwell in household, A mother of sons in her joy! Praise ye Yah.
9 Ele faz com que a mulher que não tem filhos seja respeitada no seu lar e a torna feliz, dando-lhe filhos. Aleluia!
