1 Then said Yahweh unto me, Once more, go love a woman who loveth a friend, and is an adulteress,according to the love of Yahweh unto the sons of Israel, though they keep turning away unto other gods, and love raisin-cakes.
1 O Senhor me disse: — Vá outra vez e ame uma mulher, que é amada por outro e é adúltera, assim como o
2 So I secured n her to me, for fifteen pieces of silver,and a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley;
2 Assim, comprei-a por quinze peças de prata e cento e cinquenta quilos de cevada.
3 and I said unto her, Many days, shalt thou tarry for me, thou shalt not be unchaste, neither shalt thou become another mans,moreover also, I, for thee.
3 E eu disse a ela: — Você vai ficar comigo por muito tempo. Você não deve se prostituir, nem se entregar a outro homem. E eu farei o mesmo em relação a você.
4 For, many days, shall the sons of Israel tarry, without king, and without ruler, and without sacrifice, and without pillar; and without ephod, or household gods.
4 Porque os filhos de Israel ficarão por muito tempo sem rei, sem príncipe, sem sacrifício, sem coluna, sem estola sacerdotal ou ídolos do lar.
5 Afterwards, shall the sons of Israel return, and seek Yahweh their God, and David their king,and shall turn with throbbing hearts unto Yahweh and unto his goodness, in the afterpart of the days.
5 Depois, os filhos de Israel voltarão e buscarão o Senhor , seu Deus, e Davi, seu rei; e, nos últimos dias, tremendo, se aproximarão do Senhor e da sua bondade.
