1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
1 Falou mais o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
2 Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, A woman when she conceiveth seed and giveth birth to a male child, then shall she be unclean seven days, according to the days of her removal in her sickness shall she be unclean.
2 Fala aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Se uma mulher conceber e der à luz um menino, será imunda sete dias, assim como nos dias da separação da sua enfermidade, será imunda.
3 And, on the eighth day, shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised.
3 E no dia oitavo se circuncidará ao menino a carne do seu prepúcio.
4 And, for thirty-three days, shall she continue in the blood of purification,no hallowed thing, shall she touch, and, into the sanctuary, shall she not enter, until her days of purification are fulfilled.
4 Depois ficará ela trinta e três dias no sangue da sua purificação; nenhuma coisa santa tocará e não entrará no santuário até que se cumpram os dias da sua purificação.
5 But if, a female child, she bear, then shall she be unclean two weeks as in her removal,and, for sixty-six days, shall she continue in the blood of purification.
5 Mas, se der à luz uma menina será imunda duas semanas, como na sua separação; depois ficará sessenta e seis dias no sangue da sua purificação.
6 And, when the days of her purification are fulfilled, whether for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring in a lamb, the choice of its year, as an ascending-sacrifice, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove, as a sin-bearer, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest;
6 E, quando forem cumpridos os dias da sua purificação por filho ou por filha, trará um cordeiro de um ano por holocausto, e um pombinho ou uma rola para expiação do pecado, diante da porta da tenda da congregação, ao sacerdote.
7 and he shall bring it near before Yahweh so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over her, and she shall be clean from her fountain of blood. This, is the law for her that hath given birth, to a male child or to a female.
7 O qual o oferecerá perante o Senhor, e por ela fará propiciação; e será limpa do fluxo do seu sangue; esta é a lei da que der à luz menino ou menina.
8 But, if her hand findeth not sufficiency for a lamb, then shall she take two turtle doves or two young pigeons, one for an ascending-sacrifice and one for a sin-bearer,so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over her, and she shall he clean.
8 Mas, se em sua mão não houver recursos para um cordeiro, então tomará duas rolas, ou dois pombinhos, um para o holocausto e outro para a propiciação do pecado; assim o sacerdote por ela fará expiação, e será limpa.
