1 The sin of Judah, is written With a stylus of iron, With the point of a diamond: It is engraved Upon the tablet of their heart, And upon the horns of your altars;
1 O pecado de Judá está escrito com uma pena de ferro, e com a ponta de um diamante, e se encontra entalhado na tábua do seu coração, e sobre os chifres de vossos altares.
2 So long as their sons remember their altars, and their Sacred Stems, By the green tree,Upon the high hills,
2 Ao passo que seus filhos se lembram dos seus altares e de seus bosques pelas árvores verdes sobre as altas colinas.
3 O my mountain in the field Thy substance all thy treasures, for a prey, will I give: Thy high places for sin, within all thy bounds.
3 Ó meu monte no campo, eu darei teus bens materiais e todos os teus tesouros por despojo, e teus lugares elevados por causa do pecado, em todos os teus limites.
4 So shalt thou even of thyself, suffer to rest the inheritance which I gave thee, Seeing that I will cause thee to serve thine enemies, in the land which thou knowest not; For, a fire, have ye kindled in mine anger, Unto times age-abiding, shall it burn.
4 Assim, tu mesmo, irás abandonar a tua herança, que eu te dei, e far-te-ei servir os teus inimigos em uma terra que tu não conheces, pois vós ateastes fogo em minha ira, que queimará para sempre.
5 Thus, saith Yahweh Accursed is the manWho trusteth in a son of earth, And hath made flesh his arm,And whose heart from Yahweh, turneth aside:
5 Assim diz o SENHOR: Amaldiçoado seja o homem que confia no homem, e torna carne o seu braço, e cujo coração afasta-se do SENHOR.
6 Therefore shall he become as a shrub in the waste plain, Neither shall he perceive when good cometh, But shall inhabit Parched places in a wilderness, A land of salt that cannot he dwelt in.
6 Pois ele será como o arbusto no deserto, e não verá quando o bem chegar. Porém habitará os lugares secos no deserto, em uma terra salgada e não habitada.
7 Blessed is the man Who trusteth in Yahweh, To whom Yahweh is his ground of confidence;
7 Abençoado é o homem que confia no SENHOR, e cuja esperança é o SENHOR.
8 For he shall become like a tree planted by waters, And, by a stream, shall he send out his roots, Neither shall he perceive when heat cometh, But, his leaf shall continue green: Even in a year of dearth, shall he not be anxious, Neither shall he cease from hearing fruit.
8 Pois ele será como uma árvore plantada próximo às águas, e que estende as suas raízes até o rio, e não verá quando o calor chegar, porém a sua folha estará verde, e não terá preocupação no ano de seca, e nem cessará de produzir fruto.
9 Deceitful is the heart above all things And, dangerously wayward,Who can know it?
9 O coração é enganoso acima de todas as coisas, e desesperadamente perverso; quem pode conhecê-lo?
10 IYahweh, Searching the heart, Testing the affections; And giving to every man According to his way, According to the fruit of his doings.
10 Eu, o SENHOR, esquadrinho o coração, eu sondo os rins, para dar a cada homem conforme os seus caminhos, e conforme o fruto dos seus feitos.
11 As a partridge gathereth eggs she did not lay,
11 Como a perdiz assenta-se sobre ovos, e não os choca, assim é aquele que adquire riquezas, porém não da maneira correta; ele as deixará no meio dos dias, e no seu fim será um tolo.
12 A throne of glory, exalted from the beginning, hath been the place of our sanctuary.
12 Um trono alto e glorioso desde o início é o lugar do nosso santuário.
13 Thou hope of Israel Yahweh, All who forsake thee, shall turn pale,Yea, all who depart from me, in the ground, shall be written, For they have forsaken a fountain of living water, even Yahweh.
13 Ó SENHOR, a esperança de Israel, todos que abandonam a ti serão envergonhados, e aqueles que se afastam de mim serão escritos na terra, porque eles abandonaram o SENHOR, a fonte de águas vivas.
14 Heal thou me O Yahweh, that I may be healed, Save me that I may be saved,For, my praise, thou art!
14 Cura-me, ó SENHOR, e eu serei curado; salva-me, e eu serei salvo, porque tu és meu louvor.
15 Lo! they, are saying unto me,Where is the word of Yahweh? Pray thee let it come to pass!
15 Eis que eles me dizem: Onde está a palavra do SENHOR? Deixe-a vir agora.
16 But as for me, I have neither forced myself away from tending the flock after thee, Nor yet for the woeful day, have I longedthou, knowest,That which came out of my lips, before thy face, was uttered.
16 Quanto a mim, não me apressei em ser um pastor para seguir a ti, nem desejei o dia da aflição. Tu sabes; o que saiu dos meus lábios estava correto perante a ti.
17 Do not thou become to me a terror,My refuge, art thou, in the day of calamity.
17 Não sejas um terror para mim, tu és minha esperança no dia do mal.
18 Let my persecutors, turn pale, hut let not me, turn pale, Let, them, be terrified, but let not, me, be terrified,Bring thou upon them a day of calamity, And with a double fracture, destroy them.
18 Estejam confundidos, aqueles que me perseguem, porém não me deixe confundido. Que eles estejam consternados, porém não me deixe ficar consternado. Sobre eles traz o dia do mal e destrua-os com dupla destruição.
19 Thus, said Yahweh unto meGo and stand in the gate of the sons of the people, through which the kings of Judah enter in, and through which they come out,also in all the gates of Jerusalem.
19 Assim me disse o SENHOR: Vai e permanece no portão dos filhos do povo, pelo qual os reis de Judá entram, e pelo qual saem, e em todos os portões de Jerusalém.
20 Then shalt thou say unto themHear ye the word of Yahweh Ye kings of Judah and all Judah, And all ye inhabitants of Jerusalem,who enter in through these gates:
20 E dize-lhes: Ouvi vós a palavra do SENHOR, vós reis de Judá, e todo Judá, e todos os habitantes de Jerusalém, que adentram por estes portões.
21 Thus, saith Yahweh, lake heed unto your souls,And do not bear any burden on the sabbath day, Nor bring it in through the gates of Jerusalem,
21 Assim diz o SENHOR: Atentai para vós mesmos, e não transporteis carga no dia do shabat, nem a introduzais pelos portões de Jerusalém.
22 Neither shall ye take forth any burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, Nor any manner of work, shall ye do,But ye shall hallow the sabbath day, As I commanded your fathers.
22 Nem transporteis carga para fora de vossas casas no dia do shabat, nem façais vós qualquer trabalho, porém santificai o dia do shabat, como eu ordenei a vossos pais.
23 Howbeit they hearkened not, neither inclined their ear,but stiffened their neck, that they might not hearken, neither receive correction.
23 Porém eles não obedeceram, nem inclinaram os seus ouvidos, mas endureceram a sua cerviz, para que não ouvissem, nem se instruíssem.
24 And it shall come to pass,If ye will, indeed hearken, unto me Declareth Yahweh, To bring in no burden through the gates of this city, on the sabbath day,But to hallow the sabbath day, by not doing thereon any manner of work,
24 E isto acontecerá, se vós diligentemente escutardes a mim, diz o SENHOR, e não introduzirdes cargas através dos portões desta cidade no dia do shabat, porém santificardes o dia do shabat, para nele não trabalhardes.
25 Then shall enter in through the gates of this city, Kings and princes Sitting on the throne of David, Riding in chariots and on horses They, and their princes, The men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, And this city shall remain unto times age-abiding.
25 Então entrarão pelos portões desta cidade, reis e príncipes assentando-se sobre o trono de Davi, sendo levados em carruagens, e sobre cavalos, eles, e os seus príncipes, os homens de Judá, e os habitantes de Jerusalém. E esta cidade permanecerá para sempre.
26 And they shall come inOut of the cities of Judah and Out of the places round about Jerusalem, and Out of the land of Benjamin, and Out of the lowlands, and out of the hill country, and Out of the South, Bringing in ascending-offering, and peace-offering, and meal-offering, and frankincense,Even they wire bring in a thank-offering into the house of Yahweh,
26 E eles virão das cidades de Judá, e dos lugares próximos a Jerusalém, e da terra de Benjamim, e da planície, e dos montes, e do sul, trazendo ofertas queimadas, e sacrifícios, e ofertas de alimentos, e incenso, e trazendo sacrifícios de louvor, à casa do SENHOR.
27 But, if ye will not hearken unto meTo hallow the sabbath day, And to bear no burden and bring in through the gates of Jerusalem, on the sabbath day, Then will I kindle a fire within her gates, And it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, And shall not be quenched.
27 Porém se vós não me escutardes, para santificar o dia do shabat, e para não carregardes carga, e adentrardes os portões de Jerusalém no dia do shabat, então eu atearei fogo aos seus portões, e este devorará os palácios de Jerusalém, e não será apagado.
