1 Then he took me unto the gate,even the gate that locked toward the east.;
1 Fui então conduzido ao pórtico oriental,
2 when lo! the glory of the God of Israel coming from the way of the east,and the sound of him, was as the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory, a
2 e eis que a glória do Deus de Israel chegava do oriente, com ruído semelhante ao ruído das muitas águas, enquanto a terra resplandecia com seu clarão.
3 And it was like the appearance of the vision which I had seen like the vision which I sawwhen I came in to destroy the city, also the visions were like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar,so I fell upon my face.
3 A visão que eu contemplava então recordava-me a que me havia aparecido quando eu tinha vindo para a destruição da cidade, e a que me havia aparecido nas margens do Cobar. Caí com a face em terra.
4 And the glory of Yahweh entered into the house,by way of the gate which locked toward the east.
4 A glória do Senhor penetrou no templo pela porta oriental.
5 So then the spirit lifted me up, and brought me into the inner court,and lo! the glory of Yahweh fled the house.
5 O espírito levou-me e transportou-me ao átrio interior: eis que o templo estava cheio do resplendor do Senhor.
6 Then heard I one speaking unto me. out of the house,and a man, there was standing beside me.
6 Ouvi, então, que alguém me falava do interior do templo, enquanto o homem se conservava {sempre} a meu lado.
7 Then said he unto me, Son of man This is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet where I would dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel to times age-abiding,- But the house of Israel must, no more defile my holy Name. They, nor their kings by their unchastity, and by the carcases of their kings in their high places,
7 Filho do homem, disse-me {a voz}, é aqui o lugar do meu trono, o lugar onde pus a planta dos meus pés, minha morada definitiva entre os israelitas. De hoje em diante, nem o povo de Israel, nem seus reis profanarão mais o meu santo nome pelas suas fornicações nem pelos cadáveres de seus reis, seus lugares altos,
8 When they placed Their threshold by my threshold and their door-past beside my door-post, With only the wall, between me and them, then defiled they my holy Name by their abominations which they committed, -Wherefore I devoured them in mine anger.
8 pondo seu limiar junto ao meu limiar, e sua porta junto à minha porta, não havendo entre mim e eles senão um muro. É assim que manchavam o meu santo nome pelas abominações que cometiam. Por isso exterminei-os em minha cólera.
9 Now, let them remove their unchastity, and the carcases of their kings far from me,- So will I make my habitation in the midst of them, to times age-abiding.
9 Mas, doravante, eles afastarão de mim as suas prostituições e os cadáveres de seus reis, e eu estabelecerei definitivamente minha morada entre eles.
10 Thou, son of man, Declare the house unto the house of Israel, That they may be put to the blush for their iniquities,- Then let them measure the pattern.
10 Filho do homem, dá aos israelitas uma descrição deste templo, a fim de que eles se envergonhem de suas iniqüidades. Que eles meçam o seu plano.
11 And when they have blushed for all that they have done, then The form of the house. And the arrangement thereof And the exits thereof. And the entrances thereof And all the forms thereof, and all the statutes thereof. And all the forms thereof and all the laws thereof, make thou known unto them, And write e it before their yes; That they may keep All the forms thereof And all the statutes thereof. And do them.
11 Se estão confusos por causa dos seus atos, tu lhes descreverás a forma deste templo, sua disposição, suas saídas e entradas, suas formas, suas ordens e todas as suas leis. Meterás tudo isso por escrito diante de seus olhos, a fim de que observem todas as leis e todas as regras que a eles digam respeito e as ponham em prática.
12 This shall be the law of the house, Upon the top of the mountain, all the boundary thereof round about on every side If shall be most holy, Lo! this, shall be the law of the house.
12 Eis a lei do templo: no cume da montanha, todo o espaço que o rodeia é área sagrada. Tal é a lei relativa ao templo.
13 And these, shall be the measures of the altar, in cubits, a cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth; and the hollow, shall be a cubit, and a cubit the breadth, and the boundary thereof unto the edge thereof round about shall he a single span. And this, shall he the upper part of the altar,
13 Eis as dimensões do altar em côvados {cada côvado medindo um côvado ordinário mais um palmo}. A base tem um côvado de altura por outro de largura; a orla, que constitui a borda, e por todo o circuito, um palmo. Isso para o lado do altar.
14 And from the hollow of the ground unto the lower ledge, four cubits, and the breadth, a cubit.
14 Desde a base, que se acha no nível do solo, até a base inferior, tem dois côvados {de altura} por um côvado de largura; da pequena base até a maior, quatro côvados {de altura} por um de largura.
15 And the hearth, four.
15 O altar tem quatro côvados; acima do altar elevam-se quatro cornos.
16 And the hearth shall be twelve cubits in length, by twelve in breadth-square in the four sides thereof.
16 O altar forma um quadrado perfeito, medindo doze côvados de lado.
17 And the ledge shall he fourteen in length, by fourteen in breadth, unto the four sides thereof,and the boundary round about it shall be half a cubit and the hollow thereof a cubit round about, with the steps thereof looking toward the east. I
17 A grande base tem seus quatro lados iguais, cada um de catorze côvados. A orla que faz a volta mede meio côvado; a base mede um côvado ao redor. Os degraus do altar ficam voltados para o oriente.
18 Then said he unto me, Son of man, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, There, shall be the statutes of the altar, in the day when it is made,for offering up thereonan ascending-sacrifice, and for dashing thereonblood.
18 {Meu guia} me disse: Filho do homem, eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: Eis as prescrições relativas ao altar {que entrarão em vigor} no dia em que ele tiver sido construído para aí oferecer-se o holocausto e fazer-se aspersão do sangue.
19 So then thou e shalt give unto the priests the Levites those who are of the seed of Zadok who approach unto me Declareth My Lord Yahweh. to wait upon mea young bullock as a sin-bearer,
19 Darás aos sacerdotes levitas, que são da linhagem de Sadoc, aqueles que se aproximam de mim - oráculo do Senhor -, um touro novo, que imolarão pelo pecado.
20 Then shalt thou take of the blood thereof and place upon the four horns thereof and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the boundary, round about,and shalt cleanse it from sin and put a propitiatory-covering over it.
20 Tomarás de seu sangue para pô-lo sobre os quatro cornos do altar, sobre os quatro ângulos da base e sobre a orla que o cerca; isso será a purificação do altar e a expiação.
21 Then shalt thou take the bullock bearing sin,- and shalt burn it in the appointed place of the house, outside the sanctuary,
21 Tomarás a seguir o touro sacrificado pelo pecado, o qual será consumido no lugar reservado ao templo, fora do santuário.
22 And on the second day, shalt thou bring near a kid of the goats without defect as a sin-bearer,and they shall cleanse the altar from sin just as they cleansed it from sin with the bullock,
22 No segundo dia, ofertarás pelo pecado um bode sem defeito, que servirá para fazer a expiação do altar, como se fez com o touro.
23 When thou hast made an end of cleansing from sin, thou shalt bring near a young bullock without defect, and a ram out of the flock without defect;
23 Quando tiveres terminado essa expiação, oferecerás um touro novo e um cordeiro sem defeito, escolhido no rebanho,
24 and shalt bring them near before Yahweh,and the priests shall east over them salt, so shall they cause them to go up as an ascending-sacrifice to Yahweh.
24 que apresentarás ao Senhor. Os sacerdotes lançarão sal sobre eles e os oferecerão ao Senhor em holocausto.
25 Seven days, shalt thou offer a sin-bearing goat for each day,and a young bullock and aram out of the flock without defect, shall they offer.
25 Durante sete dias consecutivos, sacrificarás um bode em sacrifício pelo pecado; sacrificar-se-á também um novilho e um cordeiro sem defeito.
26 Seven days, shall they put a propitiatory covering over the altar, and shall purify it,and shall consecrate it.
26 Far-se-á assim, durante sete dias, a expiação pelo altar: ele será purificado e inaugurado.
27 When the days shall be accomplished, then shall it be on the eighth day and forward, that the priests shall offer upon the altar your ascending-sacrifices and your peace offerings. And I will accept you Declareth, My Lord Yahweh.
27 Decorridos esses sete dias, no oitavo dia e nos seguintes, os sacerdotes oferecerão sobre o altar vossos holocaustos e vossos sacrifícios pacíficos. E eu vos testemunharei meu favor - oráculo do Senhor Javé.
