Ezequiel 29
Rotherham Version (ROTH) vs NVI
1 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth of the month, came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:
1 No décimo segundo dia do décimo mês do décimo ano do exílio, esta palavra do Senhor veio a mim:
2 Son of man, Set thy face against Pharaoh, king of Egypt, And prophesy against him, and against Egypt all of it:
2 "Filho do homem, vire o rosto contra o faraó, rei do Egito, e profetize contra ele e contra todo o Egito.
3 Speak, and thou shalt say Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh Behold me! against thee O Pharaoh king of Egypt, The great Crocodile that lieth along in the midst of his rivers: Who saith My river is, mine own, Since I myself made it me!
3 Diga-lhe: ‘Assim diz o Soberano Senhor: " ‘Estou contra você, faraó, rei do Egito, contra você, grande monstro deitado em meio a seus riachos. Você diz: "O Nilo é meu; eu o fiz para mim mesmo".
4 Therefore will I put hooks in thy jaws, And cause the fish of thy rivers to stick fast in thy scales,- And will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, And lull the fish of thy rivers Ito thy scales1 shall stick fast;
4 Mas porei anzóis em seu queixo e farei os peixes dos seus regatos se apegarem às suas próprias escamas. Puxarei você para fora dos seus riachos, com todos os peixes grudados em suas escamas.
5 And I will stretch thee out towards the desert thee and all the fish of thy rivers, Off the face of the field, shalt thou lie Thou shalt not be carried away. nor shalt thou be gathered, To the wild beast of the earth and to the bird of the heavens, have I given thee for food.
5 Deixarei você no deserto, você e todos os peixes dos seus regatos. Você cairá em campo aberto e não será recolhido nem sepultado. Darei você como comida aos animais selvagens e às aves do céu.
6 So shall all the inhabitants of Egypt know that I, am Yahweh, Because they were a staff of reed to the house of Israel:
6 " ‘Então todos os que vivem no Egito saberão que eu sou o Senhor. " ‘Você tem sido um bordão de junco para a nação de Israel.
7 Whensoever they took held of thee by the hand, thou didst run through, and tear open for them every hand, And whensoever they leaned upon thee, thou didst break, and caused all their loins to halt.
7 Quando eles o pegaram com as mãos, você rachou e rasgou os ombros deles; quando eles se apoiaram em você, você se quebrou, e as costas deles sofreram torção.
8 Therefore, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Behold me! bringing upon thee a sword,- And I will cut off out of thee, man and beast;
8 " ‘Portanto, assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Trarei uma espada contra você e matarei os seus homens e os seus animais.
9 And the land of Egypt shall become an astonishment and desolation, go shall they know that, I, am Yahweh,Because he said The river is mine own, Since, I, myself made it!
9 O Egito se tornará um deserto arrasado. Então eles saberão que eu sou o Senhor. " ‘Visto que você disse: "O Nilo é meu; eu o fiz",
10 Therefore, behold me! against thee and against thy rivers,- And I will make the land of Egypt to be most desolate an astounding desolation, from Migdol to Syene even up to the boundary of Ethiopia:
10 estou contra você e contra os seus regatos, e tornarei o Egito uma desgraça e um deserto arrasado desde Migdol até Sevene, chegando até a fronteira da Etiópia.
11 The foot of man shall not pass through it, Nor shall the foot of beast, pass through it, Neither shall it be inhabited forty years:
11 Nenhum pé de homem ou pata de animal o atravessará; ninguém morará ali por quarenta anos.
12 So will I make the land of Egypt a desolation in the midst of lands made desolate And her citiesin the midst of cities that have been laid waste, shall become a desolation forty years,- And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations, And scatter them throughout the lands.
12 Farei a terra do Egito arrasada em meio a terras devastadas, e suas cidades estarão arrasadas durante quarenta anos entre cidades em ruínas. E espalharei os egípcios entre as nações e os dispersarei entre os povos.
13 For thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, At the end of forty years, will I gather the Egyptians from among the peoples whither I had dispersed them;
13 " ‘Contudo, assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Ao fim dos quarenta anos ajuntarei os egípcios de entre as nações nos quais foram espalhados.
14 And I will turn the captivity of the Egyptians, And will cause them to return To the land of Pathros Upon the land of their nativity,- And they shall become, there a kingdom abased:
14 Eu os trarei de volta do cativeiro e os farei voltar ao alto Egito, à terra dos seus antepassados. Ali serão um reino humilde.
15 More than the kingdoms, shall she be abased, And shall lift herself up no more over the nations, Yea I will make them too small to rule over the nations.
15 Será o mais humilde dos reinos, e nunca mais se exaltará sobre as outras nações. Eu o farei tão fraco que nunca mais dominará sobre as nações.
16 So shall it become no more unto the house of Israel a security. Calling to mind iniquity, by their turning to follow them,- And they shall know that, I, am The Lord Yahweh.
16 O Egito não inspirará mais confiança a Israel, mas será uma lembrança de sua iniqüidade por ir atrás dele em busca de ajuda. Então eles saberão que eu sou o Soberano Senhor’ ".
17 And it came to pass in the twenty-seventh year in the first month on the first of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
17 No dia primeiro do primeiro mês do vigésimo sétimo ano do exílio, esta palavra do Senhor veio a mim:
18 Son of man Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, hath made his army undergo a long service against Tyre, Every head, hath been made bald, and Every shoulder worn beret But pay, hath he had none nor hath his army, out of Tyre, for the service wherewith he hath served against it.
18 "Filho do homem, o rei Nabucodonosor, da Babilônia, conduziu o seu exército numa dura campanha contra Tiro; toda cabeça foi esfregada até não ter ficar cabelo algum e todo ombro ficou esfolado. Contudo, ele e o seu exército não obtiveram nenhuma recompensa com a campanha que ele conduziu contra Tiro.
19 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Behold me! giving to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, the land of Egypt, And he shall carry off her multitude And capture her spoil And seize her prey, So shall she become pay for his army.
19 Por isso, assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Vou dar o Egito ao rei Nabucodonosor, da Babilônia, e ele levará embora a riqueza dessa nação. Ele saqueará e despojará a terra como pagamento para o seu exército.
20 As a reward for his labour wherewith he hath served, have I given to him the land of Egypt,in that they wrought for me, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.
20 Eu lhe dei o Egito como recompensa por seus esforços, por aquilo que ele e o seu exército fizeram para mim, palavra do Soberano Senhor.
21 In that day, will I cause to bud a horn for the house of Israel, And to thee, will I give an opening of mouth in their midst, So shall they know that, I, am Yahweh.
21 "Naquele dia farei crescer o poder da nação de Israel, e abrirei a minha boca no meio deles. Então eles saberão que eu sou o Senhor".
