1 And Yahweh said unto MosesHew thee two tables of stone, like the first,and I will write upon the tables the words which were upon the first tables which thou didst break in pieces;
1 Então, disse o Senhor a Moisés: Lavra duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras; e eu escreverei nelas as mesmas palavras que estavam nas primeiras tábuas, que quebraste.
2 and be thou ready by the morning,and thou shalt come up. in the morning, into Mount Sinai; then shalt thou station thyself for me there upon the top of the mount;
2 E prepara-te para amanhã, para que subas, pela manhã, ao monte Sinai e ali te apresentes a mim no cimo do monte.
3 and, no man, may come up with thee, and let no man so much as be seen in all the mount,and let not even the flocks or the herds, feed in front of that mountain.
3 Ninguém suba contigo, ninguém apareça em todo o monte; nem ainda ovelhas nem gado se apascentem defronte dele.
4 So he hewed two tables of stone like the first and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up into Mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him,and took in his hand two tables of stone.
4 Lavrou, pois, Moisés duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras; e, levantando-se pela manhã de madrugada, subiu ao monte Sinai, como o Senhor lhe ordenara, levando nas mãos as duas tábuas de pedra.
5 And Yahweh descended in the cloud, and took his station with him there,and proclaimed himself by the name Yahweh.
5 Tendo o Senhor descido na nuvem, ali esteve junto dele e proclamou o nome do Senhor .
6 So Yahweh passed before him, and proclaimed,Yahweh, Yahweh, A God of compassion and favour,Slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and faithfulness:
6 E, passando o Senhor por diante dele, clamou: Senhor , Senhor Deus compassivo, clemente e longânimo e grande em misericórdia e fidelidade;
7 Keeping lovingkindness to a thousand generations, Forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, Though he leave not, utterly unpunished, Visiting the iniquity of fathers, Upon sons, And upon sons sons, Unto a third and unto a fourth generation.
7 que guarda a misericórdia em mil gerações, que perdoa a iniquidade, a transgressão e o pecado, ainda que não inocenta o culpado, e visita a iniquidade dos pais nos filhos e nos filhos dos filhos, até à terceira e quarta geração!
8 Then Moses made haste,and bent his head towards the earth and bowed himself down;
8 E, imediatamente, curvando-se Moisés para a terra, o adorou;
9 and saidIf, I pray thee, I have found favour in thine eyes, O My Lord, I pray thee let My Lord go on in our midst,although a stiff-necked people, it is, so wilt thou pardon our iniquity and our sin and take us as thine own.
9 e disse: Senhor, se, agora, achei graça aos teus olhos, segue em nosso meio conosco; porque este povo é de dura cerviz. Perdoa a nossa iniquidade e o nosso pecado e toma-nos por tua herança.
10 And he saidLo! I, am about to solemnise a covenant,-in presence of all thy people, will I do marvellous things, which have not been created in any part of the earth nor among any of the nations,so shall all the people in whose midst thou, art see the work of Yahweh for a fearful thing, it is, which I, am doing with thee.
10 Então, disse: Eis que faço uma aliança; diante de todo o teu povo farei maravilhas que nunca se fizeram em toda a terra, nem entre nação alguma, de maneira que todo este povo, em cujo meio tu estás, veja a obra do Senhor ; porque coisa terrível é o que faço contigo.
11 Take thou heed what, I, am commanding thee this day,behold me! driving out from before theethe Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
11 Guarda o que eu te ordeno hoje: eis que lançarei fora da sua presença os amorreus, os cananeus, os heteus, os ferezeus, os heveus e os jebuseus.
12 Take heed to thyself, Lest thou solemnise a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, whereupon, thou, art about to enter,Lest he become a snare in thy midst;
12 Abstém-te de fazer aliança com os moradores da terra para onde vais, para que te não sejam por cilada.
13 For their altars, shall ye smash, And their pillars, shall ye shiver,And their sacred-stems, shall ye fell.
13 Mas derribareis os seus altares, quebrareis as suas colunas e cortareis os seus postes-ídolos
14 For thou shalt not bow thyself down to another GOD,For as for Yahweh, Jealous, is his name, A jealous GOD, he is:
14 (porque não adorarás outro deus; pois o nome do Senhor é Zeloso; sim, Deus zeloso é ele);
15 Lest thou solemnise a covenant with the inhabitant of the land,And then as surely as they go unchastely after their gods and sacrifice to their gods, So surely will he invite thee, And thou wilt eat of his sacrifice;
15 para que não faças aliança com os moradores da terra; não suceda que, em se prostituindo eles com os deuses e lhes sacrificando, alguém te convide, e comas dos seus sacrifícios
16 And thou wilt take of his daughters for thy sons,And his daughters will go unchastely after their gods, And will cause thy sons to go unchastely after their gods.
16 e tomes mulheres das suas filhas para os teus filhos, e suas filhas, prostituindo-se com seus deuses, façam que também os teus filhos se prostituam com seus deuses.
17 Molten gods, shalt thou not make to thee.
17 Não farás para ti deuses fundidos.
18 The festival of unleavened cakes, shalt thou keep, seven days, shalt thou eat unleavened cakes, which I commanded thee, at the set time, in the month Abib,for in the month Abib, camest thou forth out of Egypt.
18 Guardarás a Festa dos Pães Asmos; sete dias comerás pães asmos, como te ordenei, no tempo indicado no mês de abibe; porque no mês de abibe saíste do Egito.
19 Every one that is the first to be born, is mine,and every one of thy cattle that is born a male, firstling of oxen or sheep.
19 Todo o que abre a madre é meu; também de todo o teu gado, sendo macho, o que abre a madre de vacas e de ovelhas.
20 But the firstling of an ass, thou mayst redeem with a lamb, and if thou wilt not redeem it, then shalt thou break its neck. Every firstborn of thy sons, shalt thou redeem, and he must not see my face, with empty hand.
20 O jumento, porém, que abrir a madre, resgatá-lo-ás com cordeiro; mas, se o não resgatares, será desnucado. Remirás todos os primogênitos de teus filhos. Ninguém aparecerá diante de mim de mãos vazias.
21 Six days, shalt thou labour, but on the seventh day, shalt thou rest,in plowing time and in harvest, shalt thou rest.
21 Seis dias trabalharás, mas, ao sétimo dia, descansarás, quer na aradura, quer na sega.
22 And the festival of weeks, shalt thou make to thee, the firstfruits of the wheat harvest,and the festival of ingathering, at the closing in of the year:
22 Também guardarás a Festa das Semanas, que é a das primícias da sega do trigo, e a Festa da Colheita no fim do ano.
23 three times in the year, shall every one of thy males see the face of the Lord Yahweh the God of Israel.
23 Três vezes no ano, todo homem entre ti aparecerá perante o Senhor Deus, Deus de Israel.
24 For I will root out nations from before thee, and will enlarge thy borders,and no man shall covet thy land, when thou goes up to see the face of Yahweh thy God, three times in the year.
24 Porque lançarei fora as nações de diante de ti e alargarei o teu território; ninguém cobiçará a tua terra quando subires para comparecer na presença do Senhor , teu Deus, três vezes no ano.
25 Thou shalt not slay, along with anything leavened, the blood of my sacrifice,neither shall remain to the morning, the sacrifice of the festival of the passover.
25 Não oferecerás o sangue do meu sacrifício com pão levedado; nem ficará o sacrifício da Festa da Páscoa da noite para a manhã.
26 The beginning of the firstfruits of thy ground, shalt thou bring into the house of Yahweh, thy God, Thou shalt not boil a kid, in the milk of its dam.
26 As primícias dos primeiros frutos da tua terra trarás à Casa do Senhor , teu Deus. Não cozerás o cabrito no leite da sua própria mãe.
27 And Yahweh said unto Moses, Write for thyself these words, for according to the tenor of these words, have I solemnized with thee, a covenant, and with Israel.
27 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés: Escreve estas palavras, porque, segundo o teor destas palavras, fiz aliança contigo e com Israel.
28 So then he was there, with Yahweh, forty days and forty nights, bread, did he not eat and, water, did he not drink, and he wrote upon the tables, the words of the covenant, the ten words.
28 E, ali, esteve com o Senhor quarenta dias e quarenta noites; não comeu pão, nem bebeu água; e escreveu nas tábuas as palavras da aliança, as dez palavras.
29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down out of Mount Sinai, with the two tables of testimony in the hand of Moses, when he came down out of the mount, that, Moses, knew not that the skin of his face shone, through his having spoken with him.
29 Quando desceu Moisés do monte Sinai, tendo nas mãos as duas tábuas do Testemunho, sim, quando desceu do monte, não sabia Moisés que a pele do seu rosto resplandecia, depois de haver Deus falado com ele.
30 And Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, and lo! the skin of his face shone, and they stood in awe of drawing nigh unto him.
30 Olhando Arão e todos os filhos de Israel para Moisés, eis que resplandecia a pele do seu rosto; e temeram chegar-se a ele.
31 So then Moses called unto them, and Aaron and all the princes in the assembly returned unto him,and Moses spake unto them.
31 Então, Moisés os chamou; Arão e todos os príncipes da congregação tornaram a ele, e Moisés lhes falou.
32 And afterwards, came nigh, all the sons of Israel, and he gave them in commandment all that Yahweh had spoken with him in Mount Sinai.
32 Depois, vieram também todos os filhos de Israel, aos quais ordenou ele tudo o que o Senhor lhe falara no monte Sinai.
33 And when Moses had made an end of speaking with them, he put over his face a veil:
33 Tendo Moisés acabado de falar com eles, pôs um véu sobre o rosto.
34 but, as often as Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, be put aside the veil until he came out,and, as often as he came out and spake unto the sons of Israel, that which he had been commanded,
34 Porém, vindo Moisés perante o Senhor para falar-lhe, removia o véu até sair; e, saindo, dizia aos filhos de Israel tudo o que lhe tinha sido ordenado.
35 the sons of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses face shone,so Moses again put the veil over his face, until he went in to speak with him.
35 Assim, pois, viam os filhos de Israel o rosto de Moisés, viam que a pele do seu rosto resplandecia; porém Moisés cobria de novo o rosto com o véu até entrar a falar com ele.
