1 These are the statutes and the regulations which ye must observe to do, in the land which Yahweh the God of thy fathers hath given unto thee, to possess it,all the days that ye are living upon the sell:
1 Estes são os estatutos e juízos que observareis e cumprireis na terra que o SENHOR Deus dos teus pais te deu para que a possuas, todos os dias que viverdes sobre a terra.
2 Ye must utterly destroy, all the places where the nations whom ye are dispossessing have served their gods,Upon the high mountains And upon the hills, And under every green tree;
2 Destruireis completamente todos os lugares em que as nações que possuireis serviam a seus deuses, sobre os altos montes, e sobre as colinas, e debaixo de cada árvore verde;
3 And ye must tear down their altars And break in pieces their pillars, And, their sacred stems, must ye consume with fire, And the carved images of their gods, must ye fell to the ground,And destroy their name out of that place.
3 e derrubareis os seus altares, e quebrareis as suas colunas, e queimareis seus bosques com fogo; e derrubareis as imagens de escultura de seus deuses, e destruireis seus nomes desse lugar.
4 Ye must not do thus unto Yahweh your God;
4 Não fareis isso com o SENHOR vosso Deus.
5 but, unto the place which Yahweh your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there,as his habitation, shall ye ask your way, and come in thither;
5 Mas buscareis o lugar que o SENHOR vosso Deus escolher de todas as vossas tribos, para ali colocar o seu nome, a sua habitação, e para lá ireis;
6 and bring in thither your ascending-offerings and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave-offering of your hand,and your vow-offerings and your freewill-offerings, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock;
6 e para lá levareis as vossas ofertas queimadas, e os vossos sacrifícios, e os vossos dízimos, e as ofertas alçadas de vossa mão, e os vossos votos, e as vossas ofertas voluntárias, e os primogênitos do vosso gado e do vosso rebanho;
7 and shall eat there before Yahweh your God, and rejoice in all whereunto ye are putting your hand, Ye, and your households,wherewith Yahweh thy God hath blessed thee.
7 e ali comereis diante do SENHOR vosso Deus, e vos alegrareis em tudo o que puserdes a mão, vós e as vossas famílias, no que o SENHOR teu Deus te abençoar.
8 Ye must not do according to all that we are doing here to-day,every man, whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
8 Não fareis segundo todas as coisas que fazemos hoje aqui, cada homem o que bem parece aos seus próprios olhos.
9 Because ye have not entered as yet,into the resting-place and into the inheritance which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee.
9 Porque vós ainda não chegastes ao descanso e à herança, que o SENHOR vosso Deus vos dá.
10 But, when ye shall pass over the Jordan, and settle down in the land which, Yahweh your God, is causing you to inherit,and he shall give you rest from all your enemies round about, and ye shall dwell securely,
10 Mas quando passares o Jordão, e habitardes na terra que o SENHOR vosso Deus vos dá como herança, e quando ele vos der descanso de todos os vossos inimigos ao redor, para que habiteis em segurança,
11 then shall it be, that unto the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to make a habitation for his name there, thither, shall ye bring in all that I am commanding you,your ascending-offerings and your sacrifices your tithes and the heave-offering of your hand, and all your chosen vow-offerings which ye shall vow unto Yahweh.
11 então haverá um lugar que o SENHOR vosso Deus escolherá, para fazer com que o seu nome ali habite; para esse lugar trareis tudo o que eu vos ordenar: as vossas ofertas queimadas, e os vossos sacrifícios, os vossos dízimos, e as ofertas alçadas de vossa mão, e toda a escolha dos vossos votos que fizerdes ao SENHOR;
12 So shall ye rejoice before Yahweh your God, Ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your servants and your handmaids,and the Levite that is within your gates, forasmuch as he hath neither portion nor inheritance with you.
12 e vos alegrareis diante do SENHOR vosso Deus, vós e os vossos filhos, e as vossas filhas, e os vossos servos, e as vossas servas, e o levita que estiver dentro das vossas portas, porque ele não tem parte nem herança convosco.
13 Take heed to thyself, lest thou cause thine ascending-sacrifice to go up in just any place which thou shalt see;
13 Cuida para que não ofereças as tuas ofertas queimadas em todo lugar que vires;
14 but, in the place which Yahweh shall choose in one of thy tribes, there, shalt thou cause thine ascending-sacrifice to go up, and, there, shalt thou do all that I am commanding thee.
14 mas no lugar que o SENHOR escolher em uma de tuas tribos, ali oferecerás tuas ofertas queimadas, e ali farás tudo o que te ordeno.
15 Howbeit of anything thy soul desireth, mayest thou sacrifice and so eat fleshaccording to the blessing of Yahweh thy God which he hath bestowed upon thee, in all thy gates, the unclean and the clean may eat thereof,as the gazelle and as the hart,
15 Contudo, poderás matar e comer carne dentro de todas as tuas portas, tudo que a tua alma deseje, conforme a bênção do SENHOR teu Deus, que ele te deu; o imundo e o limpo dela poderá comer, como o cervo e o veado.
16 Howbeit, the blood, shall ye not eat,upon the earth, shalt thou pour it out, like water.
16 Somente não comerás o sangue, mas o derramareis sobre a terra como água.
17 Thou mayest not eat within thy gates, the tithe of thy corn or of thy new wine or of thine oil, or the firstlings of thy herd, or of thy flock,nor any of thy vow-offerings which thou shalt vow, nor thy freewill, offerings, nor the heave-offering of thy hand;
17 Não poderás comer dentro das tuas portas o dízimo do teu grão, ou do teu vinho, ou do teu azeite, ou os primogênitos dos teus gados, ou dos teus rebanhos e nenhum dos votos que fizeste, nem tuas ofertas voluntárias, ou a oferta alçada de tua mão;
18 but before Yahweh thy God, shalt thou eat it in the place which Yahweh thy God shall choose, thou and thy son and thy daughter, and thy servant and thy handmaid, and the Levite who is within thy gates,so shalt thou rejoice before Yahweh thy God, in all whereunto thou puttest thy hand.
18 mas os comerás diante do SENHOR teu Deus, no lugar que o SENHOR teu Deus escolher, tu, e teu filho, e tua filha, e teu servo, e tua serva, e o levita que estiver dentro das tuas portas; e te alegrarás diante do SENHOR teu Deus em tudo aquilo em que puseres a mão.
19 Take heed to thyself, lest thou forsake the Levite,all thy days upon thy soil.
19 Cuida para que não desampares o levita, enquanto viveres na terra.
20 When Yahweh thy God shall enlarge thy boundaryas he hath spoken unto theeand thou shalt say. I would eat flesh because thy soul desireth to eat flesh, of whatsoever thy soul desireth, mayest thou eat flesh.
20 Quando o SENHOR teu Deus aumentar os teus termos, como te prometeu, e disseres: Comerei carne; porque a tua alma terá desejo de comer carne; poderás comer carne, tudo o que a tua alma desejar.
21 When the place which Yahweh thy God shall choose to put his name there, shall be I too far for thee, then shalt thou sacrifice of thy herd or of thy flock which Yahweh hath given unto thee, as I have commanded thee,and shalt eat, within thine own gates, of whatsoever thy soul desireth.
21 Se o lugar que o SENHOR teu Deus escolher para colocar o seu nome está longe de ti, então matarás do teu gado e do teu rebanho, que o SENHOR te deu, como te ordenei, e comerás dentro das tuas portas tudo o que a tua alma desejar.
22 Even as the gazelle and the hart is eaten, so, shalt thou eat it,the unclean and the clean, alike shall eat it.
22 Até o cervo e o veado se comem, e por isso os comerás, e o imundo e o limpo também os comerão.
23 Howbeit firmly refrain from eating the blood; for the blood, is the life,therefore must thou not eat the life with the flesh.
23 Somente cuida para que não comas o sangue, porque o sangue é a vida, e não podes comer a vida com a carne.
24 Thou shalt not eat it,upon the earth, shalt thou pour it out, like water.
24 Não o comerás, mas o derramarás na terra como água.
25 Thou shalt not eat it,that is may be well With thee and With thy children after the when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Yahweh.
25 Não o comerás, para que tudo vá bem contigo, e com teus filhos depois de ti, quando fizeres aquilo que é reto aos olhos do SENHOR.
26 Howbeit, thy holy things which thou shalt have and thy vow-offerings, shalt thou take and come in, unto the place which Yahweh shall choose;
26 Somente tomarás as coisas santas que tens, e os teus votos, e irás ao lugar que o SENHOR escolherá;
27 and shalt offer thine ascending-sacrifices, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of Yahweh thy God,and the blood of thine sacrifices, shall be poured out upon the altar of Yahweh thy God, and then the flesh, shalt thou eat.
27 e oferecerás as tuas ofertas queimadas, a carne e o sangue, sobre o altar do SENHOR teu Deus, e o sangue dos teus sacrifícios será derramado sobre o altar do SENHOR teu Deus, e comerás a carne.
28 Observe and hear all these things which I am commanding thee,that it may be well with thee and with thy children after thee,unto times age-abiding, so long as thou shalt do that which is pleasing and right in the eyes of Yahweh thy God.
28 Observa e ouve todas estas palavras que te ordeno, para que tudo vá bem contigo, e com teus filhos depois de ti para sempre, quando fizeres o que é bom e reto aos olhos do SENHOR teu Deus.
29 When Yahweh thy God shall cut off from before thee, the nations Whom thou art going in to dispossess,and thou do dispossess them, and dwell in their land,
29 Quando o SENHOR teu Deus expulsar as nações de diante de ti, onde vais possuí-las, e as sucederes e habitares em sua terra,
30 take heed to thyself lest thou be thrust after them, after they have been destroyed from before thee,and lest thou enquire after their gods, sayingIn what manner, did these nations serve their gods, that, I too, may do likewise?
30 cuida para que não te enredes seguindo-as, depois que elas forem destruídas diante de ti; e para que não perguntes sobre os seus deuses, dizendo: Como essas nações serviam seus deuses? Do mesmo modo farei eu.
31 Thou shalt not do likewise unto Yahweh thy God,for everything that is an abomination unto Yahweh which he doth hate, have they done unto their gods, for even their sons and their daughters, do they consume with fire unto their gods.
31 Não farás o mesmo ao SENHOR teu Deus; porque elas fizeram aos seus deuses todas as abominações que o SENHOR odeia, pois até mesmo os seus filhos e as suas filhas queimaram no fogo aos seus deuses.
32 Whatsoever be the thing which I am commanding you, the same, shall ye observe to do,thou shalt neither add thereunto, nor take away therefrom.
32 Tudo o que te ordeno, observarás e farás; nada lhe acrescentarás nem diminuirás.
