1 And I saw, upon the right hand of him that was sitting upon the throne, a scroll; written within, and on the back, sealed up with seven seals.
1 E eu vi na destra do que estava assentado no trono um livro escrito por dentro e por fora, selado com sete selos.
2 And I saw a mighty messenger, proclaiming with a loud voiceWho is worthy to open the scroll, and to unloose the seals thereof?
2 E eu vi um forte anjo proclamando em alta voz: Quem é digno de abrir o livro e romper os seus selos?
3 And, no one, was able, in heaven, or on earth, or under the earth, to open the scroll, or, to look thereon.
3 E nenhum homem no céu, nem na terra, nem debaixo da terra, era capaz de abrir o livro, nem de olhar para ele.
4 And, I, began to weep much, because, no one, worthy, was found, to open the scroll, or, to look thereon.
4 E eu chorei muito, porque nenhum homem foi achado digno de abrir e ler o livro, nem de olhar para ele.
5 And, one of the elders, saith unto meDo not weep! Lo! the lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, hath overcome, to open the scroll and the seven seals thereof.
5 E um dos anciãos me disse: Não chores; eis que o Leão da tribo de Judá, a Raiz de Davi, prevaleceu para abrir o livro e romper os seus sete selos.
6 And I saw, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb, standing, showing that it had been slain,having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
6 E eu olhei, e eis que estava no meio do trono e dos quatro animais, e no meio dos anciãos um Cordeiro em pé, como se tivesse sido morto; tendo sete chifres e sete olhos, que são os sete Espíritos de Deus enviados a toda a terra.
7 And he came, and at once took out of the right hand of him that was sitting upon the throne.
7 E ele veio e tomou o livro da destra do que estava assentado no trono.
8 And, when he took the scroll, the four living creatures, and the four-and-twenty elders, fell down before the Lamb, having, each one, a harp, and bowls of gold full of incense,which are the prayers of the saints;
8 E havendo tomado o livro, os quatro animais e os vinte e quatro anciãos prostraram-se diante do Cordeiro; tendo cada um deles harpa e vasos de ouro cheios de incenso, que são as orações dos santos.
9 and they sing a new song, sayingWorthy, art thou, to take the scroll and to open the seals thereof; because thou wast slain, and didst redeem unto God by thy blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
9 E eles cantavam uma nova canção, dizendo: Tu és digno de tomar o livro, e de abrir seus selos; porque foste morto e nos resgatastes para Deus pelo teu sangue, de cada família, e língua, e povo e nação;
10 And didst make them, unto our God, a kingdom and priests,and they reign on the earth.
10 e nos fizeste reis e sacerdotes para o nosso Deus, e nós reinaremos sobre a terra.
11 And I saw, and heard a voice of many messengers, round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders,and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands
11 E eu olhei, e ouvi a voz de muitos anjos ao redor do trono, e dos animais, e dos anciãos; e o número deles era dez mil, vezes dez mil, e milhares de milhares;
12 saying with a loud voiceWorthy, is the Lamb that hath been slain, to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
12 dizendo em alta voz: Digno é o Cordeiro que foi morto para receber poder, e riquezas, e sabedoria, e força, e honra, e glória, e bênção.
13 And, every created thing which was in heaven, and upon the earth, and under the earth, and upon the sea, and, all the things in them, heard I, sayingUnto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the dominion, unto the ages of ages!
13 E cada criatura que está no céu, e na terra, e debaixo da terra, assim como as que estão no mar, e tudo o que neles há, eu as ouvi dizendo: Bênção, e honra, e glória, e poder, sejam àquele que está assentado sobre o trono, e ao Cordeiro, para sempre e sempre.
14 And the four living creatures continued sayingAmen! And, the elders, fell down and did homage.
14 E os quatro animais disseram: Amém. E os vinte e quatro anciãos se prostraram e adoraram aquele que vive para sempre e sempre.
