1 Twelve years old, was Manasseh when he began to reign,and, fifty-five years, reigned he in Jerusalem.
1 Manassés tinha doze anos de idade quando começou a reinar; e reinou cinquenta e cinco anos em Jerusalém;
2 And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh,-according to the abominable ways of the nations, whom Yahweh dispossessed from before the sons of Israel.
2 mas fez aquilo que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR, semelhante às abominações dos pagãos, os quais o SENHOR tinha expulsado de diante dos filhos de Israel.
3 And he again built the high places, which Hezekiah his father had thrown down,and set up altars to the Baalim, and made Sacred Stems, and bowed in prostration unto all the army of the heavens, and served them;
3 Porque ele voltou a edificar os lugares altos, os quais Ezequias, o seu pai, tinha destruído; e ergueu altares para os Baalins, e fez bosques, e adorou todo o exército do céu, e os serviu.
4 and built altars in the house of Yahweh,as to which Yahweh had said, In Jerusalem, shall be my Name, unto times age-abiding.
4 E também edificou altares na casa do SENHOR, do qual o SENHOR havia dito: Em Jerusalém estará o meu nome para sempre.
5 Yea he built altars unto all the army of the heavens,in the two courts of the house of Yahweh.
5 E ele edificou altares para todo o exército do céu nos dois pátios da casa do SENHOR.
6 And, he, caused his sons to pass through the fire, in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and practised hidden arts and used divination, and practised sorcery, and appointed a necromancer, and a wizard,he exceeded in doing the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, to provoke him to anger;
6 E ele fez com que os seus filhos passassem pelo fogo no vale do filho de Hinom; também praticou augúrios, e usou encantamentos, e usou feitiçaria, e lidou com um espírito familiar, e com feiticeiros; ele operou muito mal aos olhos do SENHOR, para provocá-lo à ira.
7 and he set a resemblance-image which he had made,in the house of God, as to which God had said unto David, and unto Solomon his son, In this house and in Jerusalem which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my Name, unto times age-abiding.
7 E ele colocou uma imagem esculpida, o ídolo que ele havia feito, na casa de Deus, do qual Deus havia dito para Davi e para Salomão, o seu filho: Nesta casa e em Jerusalém, a qual eu tenho escolhido diante de todas as tribos de Israel, colocarei o meu nome para sempre;
8 So will I not again remove the foot of Israel away from the soil which I appointed for their fathers. Only they must observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law and the statutes and the regulations, by the hand of Moses.
8 tampouco voltarei a remover o meu pé de Israel, da terra que indiquei aos vossos pais; para que eles atentem a tudo o que eu lhes tenho ordenado, de acordo com toda a lei e com os estatutos e as ordenanças pelas mãos de Moisés.
9 And so Manasseh led astray Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem,to commit wickedness beyond the nations which Yahweh had destroyed from before the sons of Israel.
9 Assim, Manassés fez com que Judá e os habitantes de Jerusalém errassem, e fizessem pior do que os pagãos, aos quais o SENHOR tinha destruído diante dos filhos de Israel.
10 And Yahweh spake unto Manasseh and unto his people, but they did not give ear.
10 E o SENHOR falou a Manassés, e ao seu povo; mas eles não quiseram ouvir.
11 So Yahweh brought in upon them, the captains of the army that belonged to the king of Assyria, and they captured Manasseh with hooks,and bound him captive with a pair of bronze fetters, and took him away to Babylon.
11 Porquanto o SENHOR trouxe sobre eles os capitães do exército do rei da Assíria, os quais tiraram Manassés do meio dos espinhos, e o ataram com grilhões, e o carregaram para Babilônia.
12 But, in his distress, he appeased the face of Yahweh his God,and humbled himself greatly, before the God of his fathers;
12 E, quando ele esteve em aflição, buscou ao SENHOR seu Deus, e se humilhou grandemente diante do Deus dos seus pais,
13 and, when he prayed unto him, then was he entreated of him, and hearkened unto his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem, unto his own kingdom, and so Manasseh came to know, that, Yahweh, is God.
13 e orou a ele; Deus aceitou-lhe a petição, e ouviu a sua súplica, e o trouxe de volta a Jerusalém, ao seu reino. Então, Manassés soube que o SENHOR era Deus.
14 And, after this, he built an outer wall to the city of David on the west of the Gihon in the ravine, even to the entering in through the fish-gate, and went round to Ophel, and carried it up very high,and put captains of valour in all the fortified cities, throughout Judah.
14 Ora, depois disso ele edificou um muro na parte externa da cidade de Davi, sobre o lado oeste de Giom, no vale, a saber, na entrada do portão do peixe, e que cercava Ofel, e se erguia a grande altura, e colocou capitães de guerra em todas as cidades fortificadas de Judá.
15 And he removed the gods of the foreigner and the image, out of the house of Yahweh, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of the house of Yahweh, and in Jerusalem,and he cast them forth outside the city.
15 E ele removeu os deuses estranhos, e o ídolo da casa do SENHOR, e todos os altares que havia edificado no monte da casa do SENHOR, e em Jerusalém, e os lançou fora da cidade.
16 And he built the altar of Yahweh, and sacrificed thereon peace-offerings, and thanksgiving sacrifices,-and gave word to Judah to serve Yahweh, God of Israel.
16 E ele reparou o altar do SENHOR, e sobre ele sacrificou ofertas de paz e ofertas de gratidão, e ordenou a Judá que servisse o SENHOR Deus de Israel.
17 Howbeit, still were, the people, sacrificing in the high places,only unto Yahweh their God.
17 Todavia, o povo ainda sacrificava nos lugares altos, porém somente ao SENHOR seu Deus.
18 But, the rest of the story of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the story of the seers who spake unto him in the name of Yahweh God of Israel, there they are, in the story of the kings of Israel:
18 Ora, o restante dos atos de Manassés, e a sua oração ao seu Deus, e as palavras dos videntes que falaram com ele em nome do SENHOR, Deus de Israel, eis que estão escritos no livro dos reis de Israel.
19 both his prayer and how was entreated of himand all his sin and his treacherous act, and the sites whereon he built high places, and set up the Sacred Stems and the images, before he humbled himself, there they are, written in the story of the seers.
19 Também a sua oração, e como Deus foi clamado por ele, e todos os seus pecados, e a sua transgressão, e os lugares nos quais ele edificou lugares altos, e ergueu bosques e imagens esculpidas, antes de ser humilhado; eis que estão escritos entre os dizeres dos videntes.
20 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the garden off his own house,and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
20 Assim, Manassés dormiu com os seus pais, e o sepultaram na sua própria casa; e Amom, o seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
21 Twenty-two years old, was Amon when he began to reign,and, two years, reigned he in Jerusalem.
21 Amom tinha vinte e dois anos de idade quando começou a reinar; e reinou dois anos em Jerusalém.
22 And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had done,and, unto all the images which Manasseh his father had made, Amon offered sacrifice, and did serve them.
22 Porém, ele fez aquilo que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR, como fez Manassés, o seu pai; porque Amom sacrificou a todas as imagens esculpidas que Manassés, o seu pai, havia feito, e as serviu;
23 But he did not humble himself before Yahweh as Manasseh his father humbled himself,for, he, Amon, made guilt abound.
23 e não se humilhou diante do SENHOR, como Manassés, o seu pai, havia se humilhado; porém Amom transgrediu mais e mais.
24 And his servants conspired against him, and put him to death, in his own house.
24 E os seus servos conspiraram contra ele, e o mataram na sua própria casa.
25 But the people of the land smote all the conspirators against King Amon,and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25 Porém, o povo da terra matou todos aqueles que haviam conspirado contra o rei Amom; e o povo da terra fez de Josias, o seu filho, rei no seu lugar.
